Dragon Oath PvP Guide for All Classes

Dragon Oath PvP Guide for All Classes by LoveMadrid

Minstrels

Pros

+ minstrels are the best anti- melee class in the game with a permanent buff that gives them a chance to slow against the opponent.

+ Also counters some other Ranged classes as well.

+ has a skill called persistent fireball which has a 25% chance of amplifying the damage the opponent takes so they take twice as much damage and for a whopping twenty seconds. It also does damage and the cool down is only 10s.

+ Every party, no matter what you are doing, needs a minstrel to cast persistent fireball, especially bosses and Swallows Dock.

Cons

• Ever since the 45 book came out, minstrels are nerfed (weakened) and the 80 relic also nerfed minstrel because the melee classes are getting anti- ranged skills. They once again nerfed since i heard rumours that lv 90 books are coming out in TLBB2 . The minstrek book is frankly useless. Against ranged classes it doesnt help at all.

• Ranged DPS classes like Taoist completely counters Minstrel. (Minstrels are weak against ranged classes)

• Once a melee classes catches up to a minstrel the minstrel is as good as dead.

• Not recommended for beginners. Since it requires some skill to control.

Elements used: Fire and Poison (There are rumours that poison attack increases the normal attack damage. Since I am a fire build minstrel, I don’t know if its true. Its fine either way. )

Build: Agility, intelligence or stamina. Its recommended to build agility. More critical hit and more hit and reflex. I believe most minstrels build agility. Some even build intelligence. Int. built minstrels have a bit more damage. I myself build stamina. It provides about 10k health bonus in the long run

————————————————————
Minstrel Vs. Taoist
Buff: Wrathful vibe
Move away from the opponent within the 10s you get as close to ur opponent as you can and first move is primary hidden, a smart Tao would invi with you tats why you wait until he uses his AOEs and you silencing wave, all skills and ensnare. If ensnare miss then run to the corner and keep running from him. If you got him , place the traps , remember that once you place both traps shift away and trigger, that should be the exact timing. Once you done that , make sure the punishing trap hits him too to buy urself some time to run away. Keep running and leaping , if he keeps up make sure you invi and shift away again until your ensnare is ready again. Repeat the procedure until one of you dies .. This is the only way to kill a taoist since they have too much advantage over us and the only advantage we have is that our shifting cool down is 10 times shorter than theirs. (Unless you are a lot better than him in both equips and skills). The only way a minstrel can win is by keep running ans taking advantage of our teleport. If he is chasing you and is unable to use his combo on you, then you are gainng the upperhand.

Minstrel Vs. Lotus
Buff: Wrathful vibe
Again, move away from the opponent in the 10s you have. When a minstrel is pitted against a Lotus, the lotus is more likely to win. Make sure you don’t use silencing wave until he is about less than half. Same old combo, discordant brilliance, all skill, ensnare , traps , detonate and watch out for his dummy. You also gotta make sure that you do not use any skills when he has spheric shield on. When they try to get close to you just shift away and keep attacking. When he is about to die, teleport close to him and silence wave then finish him off.

Minstrel Vs. Voodoo
Buff: Wrathful vibe
Move close to the voodoo once the match starts and silence, all skill, ensnare , traps, and keep running just like you do to a tao, only this time, you don’t have to worry about them catching up to you since voodoo have no teleport. The Noxious Palm do quite a lot of damage on us so if they are dumb enough to use Noxious Palm without blinds, then invisible and dodge the skill.

Minstrel Vs. Pyro
Buff: Wrathful vibe
First of all, against melee fighters, I suggest you to jump shoot. And also make sure you do not ensnare until they use inner fire. When the match class you get as far away as possible, and most pyros will follow you , so first move is invi for sure , and they will either hell fire or thunderclap. Once they show themselves you silence wave, and then all skill, shift, jump, jump, jump, when they inner fire you ensnare them, traps, and then the rest of your skills, keep jumping and once they fiery pull you, just invi and shift away.

Minstrel Vs. Shaolin
Buff: Wrathful Vibe
Ah, Shaolin, the easiest class to beat for Minstrel. Again, move away when they come near you , when they use divine intervention and reflection then shift away, slow, jump, jump, jump and when they wind walk, just keep running and leaping, run and leap , when you are being silenced by their Lotus Fingers, leap away, and the finger effect should be over by the time you land. Once his divine intervention effect is over then its your time to shine. Keep jumping and using skills, and if you get a 2x on him, silence wave, and keep attacking. Ensnare when he wind walks, and then traps. Repeat this process until one of you dies.

Minstrel Vs. Beggar
Buff: Wrathful Vibe
When beggars alarcity just ensnare, but against beggars its likely your ensnare will miss unless your hit is super high. If you ensnare miss, you have silence as backup, and if your ensnare gets him, save your silence for his Dragon Vortex. Shift when he uses 65 relic, shift away bcuz it makes you unable to move. When they use 45 relic (that is if they can afford it.) shift away as well , if shift is on cool down then just try running and shift later. In contrarary to popular beliefs, Minstrel doesn’t have advantage over beggar since beggar has extremely high reflex and that defeats the point of Wrathful Vibe and beggar skills like 45 relic just catches up to the Minstrel with one click, if Minstrels try to run Beggar can 65 relic on us and we cant even run. The poison makes us unable to invi. All those mentioned above has disabled all our escape mechanism and makes it difficult for us.

Minstrel Vs. Assassins
Buff: Wrathful vibe/ Ward of nymph (up to you, but personally I recommend vibe. If you try nymph and he gets burned , he can still frost nova+ agile boot all skill and kill you. Even if you get him burned and he cant invi he will still kill u. they don’t need invi to kill a minstrel.)
Use Wrathful Vibe. Some may argue how burn is better Vs. sins but even if you can make them unable to invi, you can’t kite them and they will still kill you. Go to a corner of the arena and place traps around u. Once they pop out silence and run. Ensnare when they use fleet footed. And once they have wasted all their invi, just kite them like how we kite Pyros and Shaolin.

Minstrel Vs. Royalty
Buff: Wrathful vibe
The minstrel always should keep an eye on the royalty for his Solid Lock. They will either spam their immune to traps skill or their solid lock as soon as you ensnare. That’s why it is important to ensure you get him with the traps RIGHT on time. If they successfully immune the trap, its ok, that happens a lot, just make sure your other trap hits him and silence if your first trap misses.

Minstrel Mirror
Buff: Wrathful vibe
Minstrel mirror, its all about skill levels and equips . When you are ensnared and the opponent is about to detonate his traps, use the lvl 30 rage skill to evade the traps, then shift out of the blind trap. No need to run since when your cool down is done, the opponent’s will too.

——————————————————————————————————————

Royalty

Pros
+ Royalties are strong against all classes, they don’t have a lot of weaknesses.

+ Royalty’s AoE is strong and its good in farming

+ Royalty can use both physical and spiritual attack and all the elements so they can wear all class’s equips.

+ Royalty gets the fourth most Hp out of one stamina.

+ Their Advanced Fashion and attire looks cool.

+ Their mana drain annoys every class in PvP, since it drains around 50% of the opponent’s total MP cap

+ they are also hardcore damage dealers in higher lvls with good equips.

Cons

– Only have one stun so they have a short amount of time to dish out their combo.
– Unlike Minstrel and Taoist they don’t have a teleportation skill, instead they have a speed buff like a melee.
– Really equips dependant.

Elements used: Fire, Poison, Thunder and Ice.

You can socket any element gems you want, though its best to balance your elements. Some royalties go for pure thunder.

Build: Any. Royalty can use both str. And int. So any build will be good. I recommend stamina but any other build (other than willpower) is nice.

Vs. Beggars
Buff: Horse’s rage
Against beggars, you need to see what he is going to use first. First of all, move away, amplify, jump shoot, and when he uses alarcity, solid lock, if he uses dragon blood when he is chasing, then go focus aim, and then rummy fingers, all skill. Once he uses 45 relic, then go use air walker, run away bcuz if he used violent dragon on you, you can’t move because the skill slowed too much, air walker should help.

Vs. Pyro
Buff: Horse’s power
First move invi, amplify, mana drain, rummy finger, blade storm. When they use their Inner fire just solid lock and AOE them. After the AOE, use Air Walker and kite for 10s.

Vs. Shaolin
Buff: Horses rage
When he buffs up, wind walk, go air walker, leap away and then summon mount =D.. You should have the mount’s speed bonus PLUS the air walker .. Which I doubt he can catch up to. Try not to expose too much just in case they have force dismount.(which was 200g b4 and not much ppl had it. Nowadays its 10g and everyone has got it.) Once divine intervention is over, get off mount and kite.

Vs. Assassin
Buff: Horse’s rage
Once they pop out, solid lock, amplify , rummy finger to prevent invi and kite. All skill+ kite. A normal assassin should die once you kite.

Vs. Minstrel
Buff: Horse’s rage
Easy, immune minstrel’s trap when he ensnares. You can use that skill when you are ensnared. Thing about ensnare is, you are allowed to use immunity skills inside the big red block. Immune it, a smart minstrel will not detonate and use it alter. Dumb minstrels will cast detonation. Which will eventually get immune. Remember to walk out of the punishing trap so it won’t get you. All skill and minstrel should be somewhat half hp / dead.

Mirror match up
Buff: Horse’s power
All about equips and control. (maybe lag as well.) you need to try guess when he is using solid lock so that you can air walker and run. Note that when you use immune, you can immune the solid lock.

Vs. Lotus
Buff: Horse’s rage
Save solid lock and save AoE for the finishing touch. Amplify, mana drain, all skill, when he starts using divine vitality, air walker, go near him, solid lock, AoE, all skill. Keep a safe distance against him. When he tries to come near you, air walker and walk away.

Vs. Taoist
Buff: Horse’s rage
If he uses lantern rings, amplify, mana drain, and then the standard combo. If he didn’t use lantern ring, then go near him in the beginning. Amplify, mana drain, solid lock, all skill, AoE. Go for the kill right away because taoist is weak in uncanny attacker mode.

Vs. Voodoo
Buff: Horse’s rage
Solid lock him when he is charging his blind. When he tries the second time, air walker so noxious palm goes out of range. When he tries to use noxious palm without blinding, invisible. Remember to keep attacking while dodging his skills.

Assassin

Pros

+ Assassins are the only class that has invisibility in their skills.

+ They got the highest critical hit out of the classes.

+ They have the highest burst damage and the highest AoE damage because of their “crippling aura ” skill which has a stack damage and does AoE when they attack with the buff.

+ Once the assassin pops out, all skill, the opponent is most likely going to die.

+ Get partied for training parties because of their huge damage output when they AoE

+ Non- equip dependant. As long as you have ice and stamina on your equips it’s enough.

Cons

• Assassins are a melee class and melee

• They are nerfed as well like minstrel in the coming patches because their 45 book and 80 book are a disappointment.

Elements used : Ice

Build : there isn’t a lot that needed to be said about what build assassins use. Agility. More critical hit means more deadly attacks from an assassin and higher burst damage. The hit and reflex is also an additional bonus.

——————————————————————————————————————

Vs. Minstrels

Buff: Melting snow
Invi before the match, Death Trance, Epic warfare, crippling aura, glacial strike, glacial strike , thunderous shot, frost nova, (note that do NOT, I repeat, do NOT, wait for the death trance to be over because minstrels can stun you in just that 1 second you give him.) rest of ur skills and then targeted cloaking. Wait for the snowflake production and leap attack cd and pop out again to use those skills, and then fleet footed if the enemy still didn’t get to attack you, mass invi. If you get kited, fleet footed. Save up the agile boot for dodging traps.

Vs. Royalty
Buff: Melting snow
Standard combo. Same rules, use frost nova when there is 1s left for death trance. In an assassin combo, timing is everything. One error equals certain death. When they try to kite you, fleet footed. Remember to wait for the rummy finger effect to be over before you invisible because of its bleed effect.

Vs. Pyro
Buff: Melting snow
Try not using mass invisible. Against pyros you can try using the other mode, the one with the ranged attack (sorry, I’m not familiar with assassin skill names) Standard combo. If you can get to take him down to less than quarter health in the first combo, its likely you will win

Vs. Beggars
Buff: Melting snow
Beggars have extremely high reflex, and they will dragon blood, so do not use invisibility before battle, use mass invisible. Pop out once with death trance to force him use dragon blood, and then don’t use crippling aura and epic warfare either. Just smash leap attack and snowflake production on him, and then agile boot away and target cloaking, wait for the dragon blood to be over. Remember to NEVER, EVER go too close to an opponent while waiting for a buff. When the dragon blood is over, pop out with your real combo, the standard combo, and then invisible.

Vs. Shaolin
Buff: Melting snow
Same thing, force a divine intervention out of him, and then wait for the invisible to be over. The divine intervention is slightly longer than dragon blood, (its around 20s to 30s long) so it would take mass invisibility and target cloaking to wait for it to be over. Again, do not go too close to him. If he is smart will try heroic strike and detect where you are, and if you go too close and it hits you, you show yourself.

Vs. Taoist
Buff: melting snow
Standard combo, invi, death trance crippling aura, epic warfare, all skill, frost nova, the rest of your skills, and the tao should be on no mana. And as Chicago said in a tao guide, a tao with no mana is a dead tao. If he is tank or if he is not down to half hp half mana yet after the first assault (which is rare), don’t worry, just use agile boot, teleport away from him, run to a corner and then cast target cloaking on yourself. Wait for some of your skills to cool down and try take him to no mana on the second try. If not, then I’m assuming its either your equips are so crap that you can’t do any real damage to him, or its that he is too tank and has too much gems. Against that kind of taoist, not a lot of people can win.

Vs. Lotus
Buff: Melting snow
Just like against all classes, save up frost nova for the last hit. When he is about to die and starts to heal up with divine vitality, frost nova, agile boot, and try taking him down

Vs. Voodoo
Buff: Melting snow
Against voodoo, after you dished out your standard combo, don’t target cloaking and run away, save up your invisible for dodging his stuns. When he AoE, keep attacking (even though you take massive amount of damage, if you keep attacking, he takes the same amount of damage, maybe even more)

Pyromancers

Pros

+ One of the two highest DPS classes in the game.

+ It has more Hp than a tao and more defence.

+ It has the simplest and the most straightforward combo out of all the classes

Cons

• Pyro is melee so they will get kited. Even though they have the anti- ranged class skill fiery pull, which pulls the opponent towards them and stuns for X seconds

• Without good Hp pyros can be easily killed

Elements : Fire

Build : Strength / Stamina. Strength build Pyros obviously have more DPS than stamina build but stamina build provides more survivability. Its all down to the user.

——————————————————————————————————————

Pyro Vs. Lotus

Buff: Fire Force
Open Fire Force, and first move invisible, fiery drag, fire master, might strike, rage breaker, heroic fury, all skill and then when they try to kite you use hellfire, then inner fire and then invisible again to get close to them. You get normal movement speed due to the movement speed -50% + 50% = the same amount movement speed as before. Get close and chase.

Pyro Vs. Taoist
Buff: Fire force
First up fiery pull, rage breaker. If you can get to use rage breaker on the tao you basically win. Rage breaker is followed by fire master, mighty strike, heroic fury, all skill, thunderclap, if he tries kiting you hellfire, flare, inner fire. A tranquilising touch and growing flame, abundant surround and fairy finger combo shouldn’t hurt.

Pyro Vs. Voodoo
Buff: Fire force
Again the same standard combo against rangers. This time still go with fire force. Remember water force is mainly used against melee classes (except for assassin.). This time follow them when the countdown is still going. Don’t invisible. Hellfire first move, buff up with fire master, mighty strike, heroic fury, rage breaker, thunderclap, all skill, inner fire, go for the chase. When he/she is charging frog of war, then fiery pull, and finish up the half dead opponent. If he has the buff which gives them immune to interruptions when they are charging, then still try invisible and dodge.

Pyro Vs. Shaolin
Buff used : Fire force
Inner fire, try run 1/3 of divine intervention out. If he is stupid enough to not use divine + reflect then battle with your standard heroic fury + might strike, 60 relic + all skill + fiery pull + hellfire combo.

Pyro Vs. Beggars
Buff used : Fire force
Hellfire and run away when he dragon bloods. Don’t use mighty strike when he is on dragons blood. And then heroic fury buff all skill. When he uses the violent dragon don’t try running since it slows your movement speed down so much its like an immobilize.

Pyro mirror
Buff Used : Fire Force

Use hellfire when he is on mighty strike. And then if your skill book is higher than his, then you basically. I think you can immune each other’s heroic furies with judgement of light.

Vs. Minstrel
Buff recommended: Fire Force
Ever since fiery pull and 45 relics came out, vsing minstrels was made easy. Fiery pull, mighty strike, 60 relic, heroic fury, all skill. Minstrels cant do anything about that combo. after the combo, hellfire so they cant run and kite. When you inner fire, use invi + inner fire together so you won’t get ensnared. And everytime he invisibles, you invisible too. The traps can be immuned by judgement of light.

Vs. Royalty
Buff recommended: Fire Force
Nothing new. Just fiery pull, buff up the temporary buffs, all skill, hellfire, inner fire, and go for the chase.

Vs. Assassin
Buff Recommended: Fire force
When he comes out, hell fire, heroic fury, all skill.

Beggars

Pros

+ Beggars have the second highest Hp per stamina

+ Beggars have the highest reflex in the game and can deal a huge amount of damage in a short amount of time.

+ They are the melee class that’s not afraid of any ranged classes. The 45 book drags the beggar towards the opponent and stuns the opponent. Their 65 book violent dragon makes the opponent completely unable to move. Beggar lv 80 book is like the LD fkame, only with less range. Their lv 90 skills are undoubtedly the best out of all classes (as usual). It silences the opponent, (with a shocking 15m range), deals damage, makes them bleed, and gives beggar a 50% speed buff which is similar to alarcity.

+ Their lvl 60 rage book skill makes them gain a huge amount of reflex for 10s and that is equal to a 95% damage reduction. (well royalty’s 60 rage skill completely kills it because it gives them 100% hit)

+ One of the easy classes to play

+ Their 80 book is just imbalanced. It is similar to the Leaping Dragon’s flames.

Cons

• Royalty 60 rage skill completely kills Beggar’s.

• The fact that they are melee makes them unable to boss Leaping Dragon. There are ways/ glitches to make a melee class attack like ranged but once you use a skill during that period you become melee again.

Elements used: Fire and poison, just like a minstrel (there are no skills based on fire attack so it is recommended to use poison. I have seen one beggar building fire but nonetheless, poison is more important to beggars than fire.)

Build : Agility. Improves a beggar’s reflexes and hit, making you more untouchable, and increases critical hit.

——————————————————————————————————————

Beggar mirror
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
First move 45 relic, and then violent dragon, stun, and then all skill, dragon vortex, dragon’s blood and alarcity, chase , kill. Dragon can be used as lotus’s dummy/ shaolin’s reduce damage.

Beggars Vs. Pyro
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
First move Dragon blood, so all his skills will miss, and then stun, all skill dragon vortex, and 45 relic, beggars should be able to win if the equips difference isn’t that big. Dragon blood right after he uses fire master.

Beggars Vs. Shaolin
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd

When he uses divine intervention use dragon blood, all skill (don’t use stun) and then alarcity and try running until the buff is over, and then stun.

Beggars Vs. Taoist
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
45 relic after 1 second of waiting after the countdown. Buff up, dragon vortex, violent dragon, all skill, dragon blood , since their (taoist ) splendid wing’s hit rate depend on their hit and your reflex. The more reflex you have the more chance you will dodge their relic and all the skills that comes after it.

Beggar Vs. Lotus
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
No stun at the beginning at all. Just dragon blood and go for the chase. ONCE you come close, invisible, dragon vortex, violent dragon, all skill, 45 relic, and the rest of your skills.

Or if you don’t like it you can use 45 relic first move and then use all skill, after he uses searing light on you, dragon blood. (if you choose to use dragon blood before he searing lights, his bolt will hit you anyway.)

Beggar Vs. voodoo
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
Same combo : 45 relic, and then violent dragon, stun, and then all skill, dragon vortex, dragon’s blood and alarcity, chase , kill.

Beggars Vs. Minstrel
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
Once again, the same combo as all classes, but only this time, you don’t 45 relic until he ensnares you. Once you are in the circle, try immune his ensnare. If it succeeded, 45 relic right away to stop the channelling of the traps. If not, then SPAM 45 relic, and then walk of the trap, dragon blood so he cant kite you.

Beggars Vs. Royalty
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
Don’t even bother with dragon’s blood, his focus aim just kills your dragon’s blood. Just 45 relic, all skill, charge, chase.

Beggars Vs. Assassin
Buff recommended: Arcane gourd
First skill once he comes out (between the 1s gap of his stuns)is dragon blood, buff poison, violent dragon, all skill.
——————————————————————————————————————

Shaolin

Pros

+ The Tank. The most tanky class in the game.

+ They have the highest physical defence in the game

+ Counters stun classes like taoist because of their Divine Intervention which gives them a shocking 30s buff that immunes all stuns.

Cons

• Lowest DPS in the game.

• They are the only melee class that is still being dominated by Minstrel

• They are not good in farming because of their low DPS so if you want to solo train with a shaolin then you need a good pet

• Their 45 book is also not the best you can hope for. Although their lvl 80 book makes up for it.

Elements used : Thunder

Build : Since you are a tank, you use nothing other than stamina. One Stamina gives shaolin 68 hit point, which is the most out of all classes. That is the only reason you need to build stamina.

——————————————————————————————————————

Vs. Minstrel
Buff: Iron shroud
You can say that minstrel is a Shao’s archenemy. A well controlled Shao CAN kill minstrels with better equips. First move divine intervention as usual, reflection, wind walk, make sure you use lotus finger and then use heroic strike, all skill, and then if it misses use the divine shield and then start chasing. When your wind walk is ready make sure you use wind walk then invi so he cant use ensnare.

Vs. Royalty
Buff: Iron shroud
If he focus aims you then standard moves, Divine intervention, reflection, wind walk, chase, remember to Heroic strike first before you lotus finger. (Against minstrels and taoist you use lotus finger first because minstrels and taoist can just shift out of immobilize. Against all other classes, heroic strike first. )Anyway, you need to kill him before your buffs run out and before he starts using his combo on you.

Vs. Assassin
Buff: Iron shroud
First of all, don’t use divine intervention, not until he starts attacking you. And once he pops out of invisibility, use divine shield to reduce all his skill damages by half of what they are supposed to do. Remember to lotus finger first as well, and heroic strike, all skill. Limit break when you are about to die.

Vs. Taoist
Buff: Iron shroud
Divine Intervention and then wind walk charge, and then when the divine intervention is over, he should be on half hp or less, when he tranquilise touch u, spam divine shield so you take half as less damage. Again, remember to use lotus finger before you heroics strike. Watch out for his bubble blockade. Its always good to have divine intervention up so you can immune stuns from all classes. Limit break after he delivers the full damage of his combo.

Vs. Lotus.
Buff: Iron shroud
Save lotus finger for their last minute heal ups. And use divine intervention+ reflection before you get close to him. And try using divine shield when he is charging for the ice bolt. Don’t forget to limit break for heal.

Vs. Voodoo
Buff: Iron shroud
Divine intervention + reflection + divine shield + wind walk+ charge to him + all skill = combo.

Vs. Beggars
Buff: Iron shroud
Divine intervention reflection, wind walk, all skill, when he is about to use all skill on you remember to divine shield and limit break.

Vs. Pyros
Buff: Iron shroud
Do not use any skill until they fire master and ignore defence, and then divine shield and then divine intervention. Some pyros will inner fire, try waste it out, but try be patient and chase them down, heroic strike, relic.

Mirror match up
Buff: Iron shroud
All about stats (mainly hp). If he heroic strike you first, immune his skills. If he lotus finger firsts, leap away.

——————————————————————————————————————

Lotus

Pros

+ The only class that can heal

+They are the most imbalanced class in the whole game.(personally, but a lot of people in CN server say that too.)

+ They get partied a lot. Especially in training and bossing

+ Their 45 book and the 80 books are extremely imba.

+ They are also the best PvP class

Cons

• They are equip dependant.
• They are the hardest class the play because of the way they have to PK
• Skill book dependant

Elements used : Ice and Thunder, like a taoist. (there are no thunder based skill. As a result, there are no thunder attack lotuses.)

Build : obviously willpower. Lotuses will need a good mana pool to both survive and support divine vitality.

Before I begin I should note that the 45 relic is really really important. It’s a must have and should be maxed asap. And you need a good mana pool to support your combo.

Vs. Minstrel
Buff recommended: Debiliatioin

When they run just go heal up urself.. And if you are trying to get close, get close during the 10s countdown. Searing light, ice lance, all skill.. As soon as you are on half, target yourself and spam you 45 relic. Keep healing and then use one skill at a time .. Make sure you are gaining and losing hp at the same time, and keep healing, and when one skill cd is done, use it , heal, atk , heal, heal, heal , atk. And also remember to dummy when he is about to all skill.. Or use dummy to get close enough to your opponents and then searing light combo.

Vs. Assassin
Buff recommended: Debilitation
Simple logic, dummy when he pops out, after dummy comes searing light and then don’t run. You are a lotus, you cannot kite. If you decide to run he can just agile boot and catch up to you, so don’t bother with running. Ice lance instead. Ice lance, and use the healing combo again. Keep healing, relic, keep healing ,and then 1 skill at a time. And do not use the palm.

Vs. Royalty
Buff recommended: Debilitation
Mana drain is a big problem. And even if you do get close he can at least solid lock + AoE, so just try to use dummy when you think he is going to use solid lock. A good trick against them is to not follow them at the start, invi, get close, and then make sure he sees you get close , and then dummy, if you get lucky they will all skill you and you will immune it =D.

Vs. Taoist
Buff recommended: Debilitation
Try immune his splendid wings after he uses his tranquilising touch. And then get close to him for your standard combo.

Vs. Lotus
Buff recommended: Debilitation
If you verse someone with no 45 relic and you have 45 relic, then the match is almost as good as won. Not much to say about lotus mirror. All about timing.

Vs. Voodoo
Buff recommended: Debilitation
Always try to immune his blind with dummy and noxious palm. Also try getting close to the voodoo for your standard lotus order combo. And then keep healing and atk , heal, atk.

Vs. Pyro
Buff recommended: Debilitation
Rage breaker is troublesome so first move is to get close , and then invisible. Make sure he sees you come out of invi, and then dummy. during the 10s get close to him and searing light, ice lance. all skills use heal attack when you finished all your skills.

Vs. Shaolin
Buff recommended: Debilitation
Just run around when he is on divine intervention and watch out for his divine shield. Don’t cast any skills other than normal attack when he is on divine shield.

Vs. Beggars
Buff recommendedebilitation
When they are about to all skill you, dummy and searing light, ice lance, etc. etc.
—————————————————————————————————————–

Taoist

Pros

+ The hard core DPS.

+ The class with most stuns

+ The class that can refresh all skill’s cool down instantly so they have twice as much stuns. 3 times as much with 90 book

+ Their Bubble blockade is also used in events like SD and other bosses.

+ Their 65 relic Splendid Wings is a whopping 5 second stun at lvl 80.

+ If you think their 65 relic is good, wait till you check out the improved version of it. The 80 book is an AoE version of Splendid Wings.

+ the lv 90 book completely synergizes with the tao combo. It refills the user’s rage instantly. (fortunately it can not be refresed by purification) So taoists get 3 combo.

+ tao 45 books gives taoists an Amazimg 55k spiritual defense for 10 seconds.

Cons

• The class with the least Hp

• The class that has the least Hp per stamina

• They get killed very fast and can get one hit K.O by bosses.

Elements used : Thunder and Ice (although I never seen any ice attack taoist.)

Taoist Build

I recommend taoist to go agility or stamina + thunder attack. If you go for agility build, then you will have high hit, reflex and critical hit, which provides high burst damage, and makes up for the standard low hit weakness.

Stamina build is also a common build. It gives a lot more health and it gives you a big advantage in PKs because it adds up to around 10k hp at lvl 95 if you start building stamina at lvl 30.

Vs. Shaolin

Buff:Mighty defender
When he uses immune to all stuns use bubble blockade, bcuz divine intervention doesn’t block the bubble block. When the bubble effect is over divine should be almost done as well. Giant shift away and his effect should be gone. Splendid wing, all skill, tranquilise touch, growing flame, slow, make use of the 10s by kiting, and then purification. Save bubble and shift for his next divine intervention. Again, tranquilising touch combo + splendid wings and then all skills. Use slow, kite, jump shoot for the 10s.

Vs. Pyros

Buff:Mighty defender
Invi, tranquilise touch, splendid wing, all skill, purification, and then repeat the process = combo. Don’t try to kite and try tranquilising touch or bubble blockade when they are on inner fire effect.

Vs. Assassin
Buff:Mighty defender
When they come out SPAM tranquilising touch and then walk away, growing flame, splendid wing, and abundant surround fairy finger, tranquilising trap, purification, all again. Make sure he can’t use frost nova to finish you off with the combo.. In a normal battle, when assassin uses all skill the opponent should be somewhat close to dying. So every hit is vital.. You can occasionally see ppl coming out of arena challenge with 1 or 2 hp left vsing assassins. Happened to me once .. Came out vsing a sin with 1 hp.

Vs. Royalty
Buff:Uncanny Attacker
Word of advice, do NOT go with lantern ring against royalty like you do against all other classes because he will kill you easily with ring on. Try not to get close. Splendid wings first move, abundant surround, fairy finger, tranquilising touch, growing flame, tranquilising trap, giant shift, purify, all skill again.

Vs. Minstrel
Buff:Mighty defender
Nothing to worry bout against minstrel.. All skill they should be almost dead. Try to lure them to ensnare you by exposing yourself to him/her, so you get an opening, spam tranquilising touch on him when it’s the last two seconds, and walk out of the traps, growing flame, splendid wings, abundant surround, fairy finger, purification, repeat the process, and once you finish your second combo, hidden weapon stun, and keep attacking for a while. If they minstrel is tank enough to take all those damage, then giant shift, keep running from him. And then keep running from him. When you see him, abundant surround, fairy finger, leap to somewhere else. Remember, try getting HIM to chase YOU, not you chasing him, because the chaser always have a disadvantage.

Vs. Pyro
Buff:Mighty defender
Remember to use purify before he can use rage breaker on you. Once you are on 0 rage, its safe to say that you are screwed. First move invi for sure, and then tranquilise trap if he invi as well, if he doesn’t, then grats, your opponent is an idiot .SPAM touch on him . Touch, splendid wing(no growing flame because you cant risk him spamming fiery pull and then rage breaker ), abundant surround fairy finger, purification and then repeat the process. If you can kill him with that, then it proves that your DPs is quite nice. If you take him to red hp then you still have a chance. If you cant , they you are most likely going to die. Be careful not to give him any opportunity to use rage breaker or stun you. Don’t leave any chances.

Vs. Beggar
Buff:Mighty defender
Against beggar your relic is gonna miss.. A LOT .. Be prepared. And also, when he decides to use his dragon’s blood, simply bubble blockade him. Tranquilising touch is a 100% hit unless he invi so make use of it when you run away. In theory, beggar counters taoist but if you have high hit, then you can win.

Vs. Voodoo
Buff:Mighty defender
Splendid wings when he is charging up for blind, watch out for his 45 relic if he has one, all skill purify all skill again, end of story

Vs. Lotus
Buff:Uncanny attacker
Remember to save your 2nd splendid wing for the finishing touch and whatever you do, don’t let him get anywhere close to you. If he is dumb enough to use ice lance without searing light, then just use a stun and interrupt the charge.

Voodoo

Pros

+ Voodoo is a great PvE class and with the new 45 relic they are being strengthened by ChangYou

+ Even though their stun and their DPS skill both require to charge, they have a buff that provides no interruption during a charge makes up and synergizes very well with the rest of their combo.

+ The AoE class, they got 2 AoE and both of them do good damage on both mobs and players

+ Fashions looks nice =)

Cons

• Their blind can be dodged by primary hidden and invisibility.
• It’s quite hard to play voodoo well.

Elements used : Pure Poison

Build: Stamina build + Poison attack. Voodoos will need stamina for their hp as they wont need strength, nor intelligence (it wont help a lot), nor willpower (voodoos don’t lack spiritual defence because they got the spiritual defence buff. And they have sacrifice for MP ) nor agility.

Vs. Taoist

Buff used : Blood Aura
First move is invi, 45 relic , scorpion sting, blind, noxious palm, relic, all skill. Your 45 relic is vital for both PvE and PvP. Your 45 relic will prevent the tao from using his growing flame. Every time he tries to growing flame your 45 relic will make it stop immediately.

Vs. Lotus

Buff used : Blood Aura
Careful of his dummy. First move invi, scorpion sting, and run away from them if they tried to get close. And then when you use blind, stop half way, make him waste his dummy . If you managed to do all this, victory is almost assured. Now you just gotta make sure your noxious palm and both relics and all skills hits him. If he tries getting close again use 45 relic and your 45 relic will interrupt his cast every time.

Vs. Voodoo

Buff used : Blood Aura
Again, if your opponent has 45 relic then its about timing, if not , victory is assured . Try dodging his blind.

Vs. Royalty

Buff used : Blood Aura
First up, 45 relic, and then all skill, end of story

Vs. Minstrel

Buff used : Blood Aura
45 relic should stop them from running. Without running, minstrel is really weak against ranged classes. All skill and the minstrel should be dead (unless both of you have full 4.)

Vs. Sins
Buff used : Blood Aura
45 relic once he comes out and then frog of war, slow, all skill.

Vs. Pyro

Buff used : Blood Aura
First move invi, 45 relic, frog of war, noxious palm , all skill, slow, and kite

Vs. Beggars

Buff used : Blood Aura
use 45 relic once he dragon bloods and use the standard combo.

Vs. Shaolin

Not too sure. But i think its something like scorpion sting+ kite, and then when the divine intervention is over then use your whole combo. Remember to use all the skills that doesn’t require charging when you are running from divine intervention

Thanks huai, chinahouse, Matth, XxDreamxX and ICha for some of the infos in here =)
