Serenia Fantasy Mage Talent Builds Guide by Grazier

The max char level is 99. You only have a maximum of 105 talent points to spend on your talent build.

I suggest getting bless in most builds. HP +500, Holy Attack +30, and Skill Crit Accuracy +2% (Needs confirmation). Not bad for a 30 minute buff.

Also, enhancing the skills will be a big help to adding damage. At level 10 Enc. Magic Bolt, my Magic Bolt damage output doubled. You will have 4x damage output if you hit with a crit compared to non-enhanced skills.

Damage Absorption talent only activates if you do a Normal Critical hit. Skill Critical hits won’t trigger it.

Pure Destruction:
I see this build a High attack, high accuracy and high critical mage good for PvP.
I don’t suggest this unless you will invest on good gears to back up your defense and HP.
If ever, the mage should have high evade rate. This will help since gears don’t offer DMG RD stats.

Destruction + Balance Hybrid:
I see this build the best DPS mage with the added chance of multi-casting.
The bless will add more base damage and a bit of added accuracy. Critical attacks increase a bit more.
I suggest this if you want to control your target.
Gears should focus on skill stats especially Skill Crit Acc and Skill Crit Enhc.
Talents: 96+ points
Heart of Nature – 10 (MP Rec +10)
Arcane Boost – 10 (Atk +8)
Bless – 1
Staff Expertise – 10 (Atk +8)
Enh Fire Bolt – 10 (Fire Bolt +66)
Magic Recharge – 10 (HP +2%)
Energy Snatch – 10 (HP +500)
Thunder Domination – 10 (Thunder +132)
Chain Casting – 10 (Chain Casting +2%)
Thunder Domination – 5 (Target DMG RD -2% to -10%)
* You can max out any talent you see useful until you unlock Mystic Bond.
* You can add Blink, Devastate and Overdrive anytime you want, or if needed.
* You can sacrifice Mystic Bond and add Enh Freeze to control your target.

Destruction + HP Hybrid:
This build has High single target damage output with the added chance of multi-casting.
With Damage Absorption, you can tank your target.
Gears should focus on critical and accuracy of both skill and normal attacks.
Talents: 100++ points
Staff Expertise – 10 (Atk +8)
Enh Fire Bolt – 10 (Fire Bolt +66)
Magic Recharge – 10 (HP +2%)
Energy Snatch – 10 (HP +500)
Thunder Domination – 10 (Thunder +132)

Pure Balance:
I see this build as the best PvE and farming build.
The AoE will be enhanced greatly with new AoE skills.
The player will last longer because of the increase of DMG RD and a few added HP .
Gears should focus on critical and evasion.

Balance + Destruction Hybrid:
This build is a high damage and high critical build that can tank a little due to DMG RD.
Gears should focus on attack and critical.
Talent: 100++ points

Life Sap – 10 (Atk +13)

Balance + HP:
Do you want a mage that can tank? this is the build.
DMG RD + Life Absorb.
This mage will have low damage output.
Gears should focus on critical and evasion.

Sacred Mind – 20 (MP Rec +10, MP +50, Atk +30)
Cultivation – 10 (HP +450)

Pure HP:
This build has high crit and high HP with damage absorb.
You will love Magic Bolt in this build.
The new skills will enhance your character’s HP and Def further.
Gear should focus on skill enhance, critical and accuracy.

HP + Destruction Hybrid:
This build has high HP and high critical.
Good for solo play. can last long enough in PvP.
Gears should focus on Skill enhance, critical and accuracy.

HP + Balance Hybrid:
Do you like tanking mobs? Do you like controlling them? Then this is the build.
This is focused on normal damage rather than skill damage.
Gears should focus on Attack Speed, Critical Accuracy, Critical Enhance and Enhance Damage

Sacred Mind – 20 (MP Rec +10, MP +50, Atk +30)
Cultivation – 10 (HP +450)
Damage Absorption – 10 (Chance +20%)
Heart of Nature – 20 (MP Rec +10, Atk +12, Skill Accuracy 5%)
Enh Freeze – 20 (Duration +1sec, CD -1sec, CD -2sec)
Damage Absorption – 10 (HP +500, DMG RD +3%)
Enh Magic Shield – 10 (HP +500 when MS is activated)

Destruction + Balance + HP Hybrid:
Single Skill focused hybrid.
Gear should focus on skill enhance, skill critical and skill accuracy.

Talent Skills (New skills you gain.)

Blink
* Good skill for both PvP and PvE
* Lets you teleport in case of danger during PvE or if you want to escape your opponent in PvP

Devastate
* Extremely painful skill for PvP focused players
* Good for last shots during PvP. Can surprise your opponent.

Bless
* Helpful buff for both PvP and PvE
* Gives you added Holy attack that ignores target’s defense.
* A little HP and accuracy to help you survive and damage.

Trasform
* Good skill to stop any target from casting or channeling a skill
* If you have a spirit with a Transform Skill, you can skip this skill

Overdrive
* Best buff for PvP. Not advised for PvE due to the 60 second cooldown.
* ENHC DMG +120% for 5 seconds will give you enough time to zap the HP of your opponent.

Heal
* Heals target, including yourself, 100% of your Atk rate. So, if you have Atk: 240, you will heal 240.
* Not advised at lower levels. 45 MP will be of better use on skills to damage your target.
* If you plan to get this skill, wait until your level 70+ to feel it’s full effect.

Pray
* PvP and PvE buff.
* Increase your HP by 4000 and ENHC DMG by 15%. nuf sed.

Aid
* Great for PvP if you are an HP mage.
* You gain added movement speed and defense.

Equilibrium
* Good skill during party runs and raids.
* Damage + healing effect will always be useful anytime you are with other people

Murky Shield
* Not sure if this is a self only buff and if the effect is continuous.
* But if this skill is a buff continuously damage surrounding targets, Fire wall is the best combo for this.

Murky Rush
* Best AoE skill so far for mages.
* Best for party runs or raids.
* Controls surrounding targets.

Mystic Bond
* PvP buff. 50% of your current MP pool.
* Should have a high MP pool and MP recovery.
* Should have auto MP potion and MP potions once this buff is activated.

Doom Pulse
* AoE skill that has a 10 second cooldown.
* Max target of 10, kinda low for a last active talent, but looks useful during party runs or raids.

Final Light
* AoE skill that can stun surrounding enemies and cooldown of 12 seconds.
* Good for controlling enemies during party runs or raids, not sure if useful on 1-on-1 PvP.

Song of Goddess
* A channeling party buff.
* Only affects allies
* Useful during party runs or raids but you cannot attack.

All of these are personal opinion and preference based on what is presented in front of me. I don’t know what the stats are at character level XX so I can not give you any talent to character relationship.
