*One Handed Blade & Shield: Defensive stance, Primary Tank Role.
*Two Handed Blade: Offensive stance, Melee Strike DPS Role.
*Threaten – Skilled at increases hate from enemies (Threat based attacks).
*Crushing – Various attacks influence enemy defensive levels and resistances.
*Low Base Attack, High Base Defense, High Hatred.
Notes: Reports of just using a sword are wrong, they get swords, spears, axes, maces, scythes, ect (even a chainsaw?). Fighters still can do away with their shield in order to do more damage.
*One Handed Rod & Guard: Defensive Stance, Primary Healer Role.
*Two Handed Rod: Offensive Stance, Magic Debuff Role.
*Light – Healing Spells which recover allies and restore them to optimum combat abilities.
*Darkness – Debuffing attacks which reduce combat capabilities of enemies
*Very low base Defense, Low Damage potential (but Very High base Magic Attack)
Notes: If you thought Chainsaw was interesting, this class gets to fight with a broom, that counts as a rod. Clerics focus on the powers of Light (Healing) OR Darkness (Debuffing). Either way, you gain almost as much hate as the tank does, plus MP issues, but they ARE the main support class. Improving Magic Attack Power increases Healing.
*Book: Ranged AoE Magic DPS, Primary Debuffing Role.
*Elemental Magic: Powers of the four elements cause AoE Damage plus various abnormalities.
*High MP Recovery (and costs), High base Magic Attack, Low base Magic Defense, Low base Defense, Very High base Magic Evasion.
Notes: Reports indicate this class is very expensive to play as. Players are left to chose their elemental distribution, which leaves you with plenty of difficult choices. This class has the best crowd control ability because of their assortment of debuffs.
*Cannon: Ranged Spike DPS, Primary Lure Role.
*Trap: Primary Trapper Role.
*Sniping – Attack at the farthest range of any class, with the highest accuracy.
*Trapping – Field Attacks which can do considerable damage while kiting.
*High base Evasion, Very High base Attack, Slow Attack Speed.
Notes: By gun, we’re not talking pistols… I mean real rocket launchers and worse. Gun is bigger than Ranger. (Mock the Fish-cannon)
*Duel Wield: Melee Strike DPS.
*Shrunken: Range Strike DPS.
*Ninjutsu: Ranged Magic Strike DPS.
*Illusions – Skilled in various evasive techniques such as hiding
*Assassination – Intense ability to use Critical hits
*Very High base Evasion, Fast Attack Speed, High base Attack & Magic Attack, Low base Defense
Notes: Ninjas go from Kunai to Fans… it’s honestly something to see. There is also their interesting Chakra system which runs their Ninjutsu.
*Solid Fists: ??? stance, Melee Strike DPS.
*Soft Fists: ??? stance, Melee Support DPS.
Notes: All Knuckle style (for once), but still includes plenty if your looking for either cute or cool. It’s difficult to find specifics on this class, but it is clear they are the melee powerhouse with a lot of vulnerability to range. For all the DPS classes, they boast the best defense, and there is records of self-healing and barrier skills, making them overall a mini support almost on the level of Fighter and Cleric (capable of doing minor versions for both roles). They are very hard to manage MP for.
And so far the best gears are level 140. Long way up to go… I’ve still been faced with the task of trying to deeply review all the skills to see if they offer any more useful information… but I’ll leave that for another day.
