This guide will walk you through leveling with guard and how to beat people who are sitting under a guard. Along with other tips and hints along the way that i see as usefull for reborns to know.

Trojan Stat Requirements
Here is the best list i got for reborn trojan promotion requiremenets. Figured i throw this in considering most reborns are water-trojans. (if you can fill in the missing stats please leave me a private message)

Level 40 Promotion Stats:

Str = [Just add till you can carry the weapons at your lvl]
Dex = 25
Stamina = 25

Level 70 Promotion Stats:

Str = 110
Dex = 45
Stamina =

Level 100 Promotion Stats:

Str = 155
Dex = 60
Stamina = 93

Level 110 Promotion Stats:

Str = 170
Dex = 65
Stamina = 100+

Tao Promotion Requirements
These are the tao requirements for leveling the best that i have gathered.

LVL 40 Promotion Stats:
None

Level 70 Promotion Stats:

Dex= 45

Mana= 140

Level 100 Promotion Stats:

Dex= 60

Mana= 205

Level 110 Promotion Stats:

Dex= 65

Mana= 225

Warrior Promotion Requirements
Here are the requirements for warrior that i have gathered thus far.. as the others if you have anything to add please leave me a private message.

Level 40 Promotion Stats:

Strength= 80

Dex= 25

Level 70 Promotion Stats:

Strength= 140

Dex= 45

Level 100 Promotion Stats:

Strength= 205

Dex= 60

Level 110 Promotion Stats:

Strength= 225

Dex= 65

How To Get A Guard
Well heres the obvious u can find this out by reading conquer website but some people are lazy and still ask so I will say it anyhow. You need to go to job center and bring an exunite ore to the reborn npc to get a guard once you have reborned.

Leveling with guard
Anyhow i will start off with a quick guide for reborns trying to level up quickly. Iron guard you can level fast on SandElfs(new desert).. once you get up to Copper guard you may realize that you have slowed down in level speed. Once you get Copper Guard you need to head to Birdman on bird isle they are all over below the city.. the guard will hit them for good damage and give you excellent xp.. use birdman to level up fast untill you can get Silver guard. Once you obtain a Silver Guard head to Mystic Cave which is north of desert city. When you get to Mystic Cave head north east untill you reach little bats called Bloody Bats(388.371) .. they are the best xp you will get with Silver Guard use it all the way through lv 105 which then u can get Gold Guard …Once you make the long haul of summoning to get Gold Guard you can now move to Red Devils still in mystic cave (232.175) for best xp throughout the rest of your leveling… and there you go now you have the strongest guard in game and one heck of a nice toy

Fighting Monsters With Guard
This is rather easy when you become reborn put some points in spirit and start using the magic skill Thunder.. summon your guard then zap a monster with thunder and hide behind your guard so that it will hit the guard instead of you.. this is one case where you want to jump BEHIND the guard not stay ontop of guard because monsters will hit you instead of guard if they can… so basically summon guard zap something and keep your distance as you are fighting the monsters in the above section. the good thing about this is even if you dont wanna meditate you can buy cheap mana pots for just a couple silver. Once you get good at it basically you need no pots.. and will level up very quickly…

Mining With Your Guard
Hey lets face it at one point you might need money… guard mining is easy and no matter what level you are if you got a guard.. you got a better chance of mining without being pkd.. just summon guard ontop of you and go afk with a little less worry about being mine pkd. Still check in on it from time to time.. because sometimes your guard gets bored and decides to wander around so you may have to resummon from time to time.

Guard Camping
Guard camping is rather simple for pvp if you are fighting anyone who doesnt have SS or FB unless you have a Large framed character 99 pct of the people you will be fighting have no clue how to get you out from under your guard it is a pain to hit in a fight so basically all you have to do is summon guard ontop of you and relax… use thunder on your enemy let the guard auto attack but be sure to keep the guard summoned ontop of you… My strategy for trojans and warriors has been zap them and run around in a square patter (dont jump) for jumping creates just enough lag that they can usually lag fastblade/Scentsword you running in a square pattern is less lag and thus very very hard to hit someone and guard wiill nail the heck outta them… if they are using herc… thats when you wanna jump yea u may get lag hit but usually herc doesnt do enough damage to be to afraid of it as long as u stay ahead of the hercing. Guard camping and guard using in general usually makes people complain but lets face it you can do what i have done on lightning which is base a character around defense and let guard do most of the work and win against every class but fire tao (on fire taos u gotta rely on FB skills)… my defensive strategy thus far has been my -3 Elite +3 coronet, -5 dex ring +2, -5 necky, elite +3 poison blade, -5 boots, and heres the key in my eyes.. i’m a water-trojan and i got a lv 70 elite shield +2 .. and obviously a nice enchant on all equip..this is an excelent defense against all classes. *update* now i’m using dual elite clubs 2 soc elite +3 1 socket armor ontop of listed above i sold the elite shield because once u get over 100 you dont really need it anymore u catch an archer it will die, along with archers.

Defeating A Guard Camper
Ahh yes heres the part of the guide where i hurt myself in fights. Anyhow Large frame characters are easy to hit they expose most of their body so you can basically just hold mouse to left or right of them untill u see them without guard… no problem there.. BUT HERES THE BIG ONE..small framed characters such as my water-trojan are a pain to kill under guards.. i have personally never been hit in a fight under my guard without ss/fb.. theres a myth that there is a spot somewhere where you can hit a small framed character under guard i have spent hours zooming in trying to find it.. theres is a spot.. but not when ur attacking a smalled framed char.. you can hit some small frame characters who have bulky armor on i have seen lv 100+ taos and warriors who can be hit due to the bulkyness of their armors…only if you are the small framed character trying to use heal on yourself can you target… which i will talk about later… anyhow the best strategy for fighting someone under guard is this.. you have a few options here… you can either Stack on the persons guard you do this by walking past them and having sit key in your hotkeys I.e. F10 and as u walk past hit the hotkey at right time and sit ontop of them and sometimes the guard will move away from the stack.. this doesnt always work .. matter of fact it doesnt for most people or most of the time… you can also try to kill guard (most of the time they can summon again beore you can kill it unless you are high enough level) … you can wait for the guard to attack you.. once it is locked on jump outta screen real fast to make the guard jump off the character then attack the reborn fast try and catch him sitting down so that he loses stamina so he cant summon another guard…. if your a reborn facing another reborn the key is to basically get rid of their guard first… by having your guard kill their guard and while your guard is killing their guard be ready to nail the char if they are camping so that they lose stamina…

Fastest Way To Kill A Guard
Ok lets look at the obvious here the stats on a guard we will use Gold Guard as an example…
hp:60000 damage:646 defense1608 dex:100 dodge:75 magic defense:0
so there you go the best way to beat a guard is with a fire tao this is why lets face it if you want a character that is undoubtably strong make you a reborn firetao not only can it square off with any character but it will have the extra attack from guard.

PKING In Town With Guard
Ok, i’ve tested this several times now in tc i finally got the hang of it ty all for mentioning it… this is fairly easy once u get hang of it summon guard and just as u push summon attack who you want to attack and you will be able to get 2-3 hits instead of one before town guard kills you .. my water-trojan usually gets 2 hits in before guard kills … a better way to do this if you are a water trojan is to wait for xp skill… soon as you summon guard transform into bot as you are attack you will get off allot fo attack my bot is 1 lv from being fixed and it takes several hits from town guard i can get off a good 5 hits before being killed usually 1-2hits as i’m transforming then they kill guard.. so 1 hit then a couple hits as the town guard is killing your guard this is not a bad trick to use it also works with fishy.. summon guard transform into fishy and attack all at once… get yourself a few good hits off with the high attack rate…. enjoy

Healing Yourself While Guard camping
Lets face it not all of us have healing rain.. or wanna use the mana of healing rain even if we have it.. This is basically for water/fire reborns but hey if i’m bored i might heal myself under guard to… anyhow there is a small spot where if your sitting under guard even as a small framed char you can click on yourself to heal yourself without using healing rain.. this comes in handy sometimes.. i am posting a screenie to demonstrate. I circled it in yellow this is the area where you place your mouse.. enjoy
