The following is a price guide. Use it as a suggestion for the approximate value of a RotMG item in a trade. Please note however that there is no such thing as a “correct” price. Items do not have some sort of inherent price, and these prices aren’t determined by me or any other one person. Also remember that prices change, and can change very quickly.
Tips: Remember that if a trade sounds too good to be true, it is generally a scam, also if the person who you are trading with cancels the trade at ANY GIVEN TIME, then proceeds to re-trade you afterward, always double check the item being selected! Most of the time he/she will switch out the item when he/she cancels the trade, be extremely careful of this!
Pots are used as the currency of RotMG, with defense pots as the base unit. Most of the items in this guide will be priced by def pots.
Tier 0-8 weapons, tier 0-3 abilities, tier 1-9 armors and tier 1-3 hp/def rings or tier 1-4 (any other type) rings are worthless and difficult if not impossible to sell except perhaps for each other.
Tier 9 weapons and tier 10 armors will (if you are lucky) go for a ‘rainbow pot’ each, where a ‘rainbow pot’ refers to a very cheap pot.
Tier 10 weapons/tier 11 armors (occasionally bought for pet food at the price of a rainbow price, although rarely)

Dex can easily sold at 0.5 depending on the time of day.

are you joking? dex is definitely not 0.5, it’s a pretty constant 0.33 tbh
remove para spd/mp/wis/etc, they are worthless so should not be on the guide. maybe even remove sup hp/def

i’d actually argue that acclaim/colo/ggen/acrop are all exactly 2 life and their oryx set counterparts (except ggen obviously) are 2.5-3 life

Transformation potions are now pretty much worthless, and T7-9 weapons and armor are now ~1 spd, all thanks to the daily quests.

This is really usefull, I agree with most of the prices here
att has dropped drastically and is somewhat stable at 1:1 with very few buyers above that. Life is now 7-8 def, with nobody selling for 6. Life is also 5-7 attack, with greater variance. Mana is stable at 4 def; it is hard to buy for less. Sword of the mad god is 3-4 life. Acclaim is 2-3 life, with buyers at 2 and sellers at 3. Armor of the mad god is anywhere from 6 life to an ubhp, but on the lower side of that. Shield of the mad god is 3-4 life. These are the current prices from what I have seen.

I Like most of this except a few issues one is that the Grand Sorcerer, it says one life and that its stable, I disagree I think a lot of people want more for such a great item especially because its actually much better than the previous tier unlike Hydra Hide.
Hydra being 2-3 Life is outrageous because griffon is 3-4 Defense, Griffon is the same as hydra in defense and the only difference is 1 dexterity so why such a drastic raise in price.
Why in the paramount rings did you mention all rings except vitality like its less than the rings you said were less than speed and had no demand Its the same not less.
All the other prices are nearly perfect keep up the nice price guide :D

Remove the transformation pot and mushroom they are worthless. Also, although it’s EXTREMELY rare for this to happen, speed sprouts can sell for 1 def.
i recomend taking away the t4 abilities, t8 weappons and t9 armor and the two sup rings becuase they have no worth.

I find heavy class items hard to sell, there is not a steady stream of life and people try to trade items for items not pits for items. Since kabam took over the game is slightly falling downhill, but it is still a pretty fun game.

Abbysal hard to sell. T5 and T6 DEF RINGS have no demand whereas HP rings have crazy demand. Very difficult to get a life for 6 def, and very difficult to sell a life for 8 def. Life is a stable 7 def. Spd, Vit, and Wis (Wis at a stretch) can go 2-1 for a def. Wand of Recompense is now stable at 3 def and impossible to sell for 1 life. Staffs, Daggers, and Swords, are the only items with any high demand, and the rest is easy to buy. I find leather armor hard to sell, and heavy armor much more easy, while robes are a bit easier too. Dex pots are the least valuable pots, and most often go 3-1.
