Cloud Nine Subclass Skills Guide

Cloud Nine Subclass Skills Guide by CALD

Hello guys.

After leveling a couple of chars I made this list with the special subclass skills – those ones you get when choosing a subclass and which can be used for your current main class.

Subclass Special Skills (SSS) have a certain pattern, but some skills change completely, so this list would help you to decide which subclass is better for each class.

I didnt mark skill names, only effects.

Rules and Patterns

All classes have 9 SSS: a level 20, a level 28, two level 36, two level 44, a level 52 and two level 60. Hunter is an exception having 11 of them (being 4 level 44 skills), but it is a particular case. these skills are under “Subclass” window on skills screen, and canot be used by their own classes. That means, warrior will never be able to use warrior SSS, since you cant get as subclass your main class. So for example, if you are a warrior with a rogue subclass, you will have access to warrior main skills plus rogue SSS, and when you switch classes, you will access rogue main skills with warrior SSS.

Level 20 skill: all of them have 60 seconds duration, cost 24 mp and have 120 seconds cooldown at level 1. All of them raise global attack (atk and matk). Amount changes, however.

Level 28 skill: 60 seconds duration, 35 mp, 120 seconds cooldown at level 1. All of them raise luck base stat by different amounts.

Level 36 skills: 60 seconds cooldown, 52 mp, 120 seconds cooldown at level 1. All of them raise VIT base stat by different amounts. The second skill here is passive, and its bonuses change according with the class.

Level 44 skills: All cost 76 mp at level 1. Their effects vary a lot.

Level 52 skill is passive, all of them raise luck by different amounts.

Level 60 skills: 166 mp, 15 seconds cooldown at level 1. Theyre offensive. The second skill is passive, bonus changes by class.

Passive skills with critical, powerblow, evasion and flexibility bonuses are NOT percentual (%) the % rate formula is unknown to me. It is probably based on your overall stats, meaning you will always need higher values to keep the same rate you had on lower levels.

All the offensive SSS have a 18m range property. That is longer than melee classes skills, but SHORTER than bow/gun skill range. Keep that in mind when kiting.

I am not sure because I could not test, but I suppose all the offensive skills adjust to your basic damage output. That is, if you are a mage, attack bonus is added to MATK value, not ATK. Since it needs level 44 to test them, it will be up to you guys.

Any “Deion” word you see on text is d.e.s.c.r.i.p.t.i.o.n screwed up by netgame ****** word filter. I dont know what its filtering, though.

Now Ill list the skill differences by class. All values are from level 1 skills, so I cant guarantee which ones are worth investing extra points since they are scarce ( 1 point every 8 levels).

CLERIC

Level 52 PASSIVE skill: LUCK +185.
Level 60 skill: Offensive. Adds 1650~1650 to char attack, target is affected by MATK -1207 for 10 seconds.
Level 60 PASSIVE skill: Critical +48.
Level 44 skill 2, 3 and 4: Hunters have this special case. It has three skills with the same deion: Negates 3 debuffs. Shares cooldown with hunter ??? skills. “???”, I suppose, are the other two skills with same deion. I am unable to confirm if each of them negates 3 debuffs at level 1. Anyway, since cooldown is 120 seconds, a player would have to wait 4 minutes to have a 9 debuff block. And yes, since they are independent skills, you need 3 points instead one at this level.

Thats it for special subclass skills, at least for now. Hope it helps a bit.
