This is a quick guide for the new Purifier update that was on 08/21/2013.
Best Spec:
61 Purifier/11 Sentinel/4 Inquisitor – Major Tank Healing
Alternative Specs:
61 Purifier/11 Warden/4 Sentinel – AoE Shielding
54 Purifier/21 Sentinel/1 Inquisitor – Double Cleanse
28 Purifier/27 Warden/21 Sentinel – Major Cleansing
Buffs:
Tank Buff:
Standard Rotation:
Before Fight cast Latent Blaze on the tank.
Apply Symbol of the Sun to the tank, cast Ward of Flame x2, cast Ward of Fire and basically repeat; the
longer the fight continues the more mana you will lose, which is normal.
If you know that the tank is going to take heavy damage use Fiery Will with Rite of the Forge.
If the tank is very low use Ward of Scorching or Spiritual Conflagration.
Even though Flame of Life is a 10 man HoT it is a great HoT for a tank, if it does apply to the tank.
Keep Symbol of the Sun active on tank, and Latent Blaze if you have time to apply.
Useful abilities you need to know about:
Please note that most of the numbers shown in the tooltips will be different in-game when leveling, as these are at the abilities show in the Souls and do not have stats or a level to increase their power.
Buffs:
Once at Level 60 Heroic Resolve & Wisdom of the Ages will read as 70, in-game.Sign of Faith is the best Sign to have once at 54 points into Purifier.
You can use Sign of Anticipation until you have Sign of Faith.
Your Eruption buff can’t not be placed on yourself, you should cast it on the tank in order to do dps from healing with Purifier absorption abilites.
Symbols:
Each type can only shield 3 targets at a time.
Symbol of the Sun is the more powerful version though you want to save Sun for the tank and use Torch for spot shielding endangered members in a raid if you are not actively casting on the tank.
Casting a Symbol will cause the target to get Burnout, stopping the target from obtaining another Symbol until it gone.

Wards & Heals:
When channeling Ward of Flame you gain 3 stacks of Bless of the Flame that will cause the cast time of
Ward of Fire to be reduced.
At 6 stacks of Bless of the Flame you can instantly cast Ward of Fire.
Ward of Scorching can drain your mana fast if you cast to many times, it’s not a replacement for Ward of Fire.

Gathering of Flames randomly shields 10 members in a raid.

Abilities in the Alternative Specs:
Once Healer’s Covenant has been applied to a target the target cannot receive another for 60s.
Covenant Fulfilled a debuff that will auto apply and show how long until you can use Healer’s Covenant on the same target again.
Empowering Light & Cleansing Prayer have a reduced global cooldown over the Purifier cleanses making them better to use, you should still use Cauterizing Wave if Empowering Light is on cooldown though.
You can cast Urgency on yourself or the tank or a random member.

AoE Shielding Spec:
You can use Fiery Will, Tidal Surge and Flashover with Gathering of Flames to put like 12K shields on 10 members of the raid.
Though using this spec you will lose out on Touch of Life, meaning the Ward of Scorching & Latent Blaze macros won’t be instant anymore.
Double Cleanse Spec:
You gain Empowering Light another AoE cleanse, however lose out on Fiery Will & Flame of Life.
This spec is useful on fights like Kyzan where cleansing is a vital to the fight.
Major Cleansing Spec:
It has no real healing abilities or brezs and properly won’t be useful outside of Conquest or The Battle for Port Scion (and Kyzan in GA if your healers aren’t cleansing), but you never know it might be useful one day far far away.
