Facebook Lord of Strategy General Quality and Skills Guide
About General
1. When a newbie first comes in, firstly will be thinking about “what General to use”, General’s quality and abilities development problems, and personal capability. First of all is to build Tavern, see if there are any good status General (SS>S>A>B>C>D>E>F), stats problem: SS usually is about 0.8, from here, they will affect General’s growth problem ( such as Neutral, Precocious, Prodigy, Late Bloomer) these will also affect on their growth. Detailed amount have not been tested yet, if according to my calculation, choosing Late Bloomer would be better, although it’s slightly slower, but the additional stats are better. Next will be exploring Historical Generals problem, because OB, we will not be able to “wash” to a good General, therefore we can only get them from exploring, but the general will be sent to explore requires 30 Charm points. If you are RM player, get a General with additional Charm ability would be sooner to get a Historical General, “what if my charm have not reach 30 points”, well, you can actually use Charm stones to enchase into equipment slots, everyone will do this during OB. Unless your General is high stats SS in charm, that would be no problem.
About Development
2. Everyone knows that developing farm is the basic development. Therefore agriculture development is the path towards the throne. I will not talk much about this. But as a reminder, players should assure souls on hand, because once you’ve get souls, there will have no problem developing, this is because at the edge of development is all depend on souls, special reminder is that at the end of the game you guys should have prepare to launch two or more battalions, future battles might cause you unable to recruit troop. (Hah! I’ve experienced on this!)
About Battle
3. Players are afraid that out of resources compared to loosing troop. Resources decide your capability with others. Due to the expedition speed is so fast here, as long as you have enough resources, you will be able to send all the troop available to expedition. During the early age, there are no need to rush for expeditions, but you should be sending 2k riders to rob resources. You will be able to develop faster with this method.
Here, I would like to share about situations on development of the Three Kingdoms:
I would like to remind you guys that, battle isn’t scary at all, you will grow up as an experienced player throughout all battles, there are lots of strategies can be found after confronting battles. Hence, battles in LoS is also one of the developments route. Shu’s Assassins are very cheap, send them to people’s place to exchange souls are worthy. You will have the chance of developing from here right? (haha!)
When it reaches the edge of the game, player’s capability are most similar (except some of them), there are very little of them will send troop to hide, well, it will have to depend on the attacker, you might be facing great loss if careless. (Hehe..) Other than that, it is better that you go for conquering territories, it is good for upgrading troop’s level, higher level, will have stronger attack and defend ability. Well, unless you’re a sheep… (HA!)
The game will give you a General as default, it is very normal, and useless.
General’s 5 basic stats are: Leadership, Management, Strength, Intelligence, Charm.
Leadership: Affects all troop ability.
Strength: Individual General combat ability. (Affects General Challenge skill casting rate effect)
Intelligence: Increase all skill effects.
Management: Increase building speed, professor recruitment speed and internal management operation cool down time.
Charm: Affects soul point obtained speed, meanwhile affects treasure drop rate from battles. (Searching for Famous General in Tavern)
Generals are categorized as SS-S-A-B-C-D-E-F these stats affects basic stats additional effect, Prodigy, Precocious, Neutral, Mature, these are the experiences required for each ranks, of course, prodigy requires most less experience to level.
Colour has been categorized as Orange (Famous General), Red (Prominent), Purple (Distinctive), Blue (Excellent), Green (Good), White (Neutral), Black (Farmer), sometimes prominent aren’t better than distinctive, why, because of the abilities, therefore, please take note on the abilities when recruiting, it will assist you on battles.
Choosing your General

There are so many famous people during the Three Kingdoms era. Cao Cao won in battles with lesser amount of troop, he had eliminated Yuan Shao within a battle, then ruled over Zhong Yuan; Zhu Ge Liang had sacrificed himself, and separates the Three Kingdoms after taking down Xi Chuan; Zhou Yu had defeated eighty million of Cao Cao’s troop by his strategies. As said, getting thousands of troop is easier than getting a good General. A good General will cause you victory ruling over in the game – LoS!

Choosing Main General
Main General’s stats are important. In that case, Leadership and Charm are most important, Intelligence comes later. Every 100 Leadership from the Main General increases about 25% additional attacks for the troop, while Sub General’s 100 Leadership adds another 7.5%. Charm increases Soul to be obtained. Strength and Management can be ignored. If the Ability has added Leadership and Management would be even better. But that will still depend on its growth. When level 100, SS growth has additional 5 stats compared to S growth, while S has 10 more stats than A growth, meanwhile A has more stats compared to B. therefore a SS General is definitely better than a B General, that have +15 Leadership in Ability. To guarantee the S Leadership, S Charm basis, please choose a high Intelligence or having +Leadership, +Charm, +Troop speed, +Soul as the main focus for abilities, and possesses 1 skill slot and above. Generals that have 2 skill slots with high Intelligence, Leadership and Charm is an extraordinary General.

Choosing Sub General
LoS game play is very interesting, how to distribute the 4 Sub Generals in order to unleash the full power of it? Personally think that the Sub General’s mission is to cast skills, therefore skill slots and Intelligence are very important here.

One, you should understand a General first before choosing one, as a General also have their individual stats:
Leadership, which affects all troop’s attack and defense, therefore high leadership will definitely be your Main General;

Strength, General’s individual combat strength, therefore best to set this for General Challenge due to the high strength status;

Intelligence, affects every skill effects, quite important, therefore high intelligence Generals as backup is important;

Management, increases building speed, technology research speed and effect, meanwhile it also affects soul used for urgent recruitment and temporarily tax provision;
Charm, soul point obtained speed, meanwhile it also affects treasure drop rate from battles, charm’s level will affect the limit the Zombie skill usage.

Lots of people had been limited in the Zombie skill due to Charm, therefore charm is very important, but personally thinks that Intelligence which had limited the skills towards troop is worst, because it affects all the skill’s effect, including Zombie, therefore intelligence is very important, it is a must for all Generals with high intelligence.

Two, everyone can only recruit 5 Generals, there are lots of people “washed” in the Tavern insanely in order to get their preferred Generals, but without knowing what Generals do they want, that’s ridiculous.
Besides stats, a General also have growth quality, growth categories, skill slots amount and abilities differences. Personally thinks that skill slots amount is the most important fact here, a troop that releases skill effect is uncountable, especially at the future, which might cause huge differences.

Thus, if General’s intelligence isn’t high enough, even if you have 10 skill slots, will not be able to see the effect, therefore General’s intelligence that above A is a must; As for charm, higher will be better, but it an element that decides a General is good or bad, try to think about this, a General with C stats reaches Level 30, with equipments, they will be able to learn Zombie skill, having high charm Generals might as well as using one Allure skill; For management, leadership and strength, as long as the General is S quality will do, we do not need that much on those.

General quality has been categorized on: SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F. SS increases about 1 point, while S increases about 0.8, A increases 0.6 and so on.

Growth category, usually Prodigy is the best, his level is the fastest among all, second will be Precocious, then Neutral, last will be Late Bloomer. Even though Late Bloomer is the slowest in levelling, but it is quite good, hence it will have additional effect after maxed level, if you’re a loyal LoS player, General’s growth is not really important, because Generals will reach their max level by the matter of time.

About abilities, for me, additional soul received after battle and proficient in voodoo is important. These two abilities are important, next will be Battle Skills and increase troop speed, others you may ignore.
Third, as stated above.

1. If you’re not decided to spend much, or none RM player, first of all, system will have event inviting some characters, this General is not bad for you, with the management, it is sufficient to reach the end of the game, you can research on College’s Tavern technology expansion, this time when you saw tavern appears 2 skill slots and A or above B for Intelligence or single skill slot wth Leadership, Strength SS, do not miss them, recruit them immediately and put good use on it.

Of course, you will only meet a good general by chances, else you’re going to “wash” until broke, besides this, you will meet extra 10% or above soul points received from battle or even 50% on proficient on voodoo with a single skill A Intelligence or above, must not miss them, even if you do not have enough General slots for them, please abandon others for these type of Generals.

2. If you’re willingly to spend more cash in this game, getting 5 Generals with 2 skill slots, with A Intelligence or above is a must, other than that, one of them should have Leadership, Strength, Management with S or above, best if you can get SS. If the Lead General is expertise in battle skills, while others are good in voodoo, increase soul points received in battles, increase troop speed abilities will be perfect.

All skill’s actual damage will be affected by General’s Intelligence, Town Technology and personal troop units. (Intelligence will be affecting the most, for example, 1 point of int +1.5%)

1. General will be able to cast skills even after removed from equipping, when they had reached the requirement of learning the skill.

For example: Zombie skill requires 50 Charm or above; General base Charm is 30, after equipping set equipment Charm increase up to 50, after learning the skill, and remove the equipments (but changed to INT set equipment, to improve the effect), although the Charm is only 30, skill will be able to cast, therefore what affects the skill will be General’s INT, technology, dead troop amount, and other skill effects.
2. Different skill stack effect. (same skill effect stacks to be verified)
About General leveling speed and its growth, as categorized: Prodigy, Precocious, Neutral, Mature, Late Bloomer.
