Dynasty Saga Frequently Asked Questions by SORA

1. Why can’t I upgrade my City Hall past level 9?
Your City Hall can never exceed the level restriction of your Region. If you want to keep upgrading your City Hall, you’ll need to go to the ‘World’ interface and move to Luoyang, the next Region with a higher level requirement. You’ll have to defeat the Yellow Turban Stage to unlock Luoyang though!

2.How come I get tons of Gold while collecting taxes on some days, and no Gold on others?
That is just the nature of luck! There is a random chance to get Gold every time you collect taxes. You can increase the chance of getting Gold by upgrading your Mint and by upgrading your City Hall!

3. How do I get more silver when collecting taxes?
Your Tax Revenue is determined by the sum of your Residences’ levels, your Counting House level, your Region’s Prosperity, your Citizen Loyalty and your Legion’s Accounting Research level. Upgrade Buildings, invest Silver in your Region, or Donate Silver to your Legion to increase these! Answer the question prompts that appear after collecting taxes carefully to increase Citizen Loyalty.

4. How is the Silver received from my Subject(s) calculated?
You will receive a set portion of Silver from your Subjects each time they collect their own Taxes. This will not reduce the amount of taxes they collect; it is just extra revenue generated for you.

5. How do I see my Prestige rank?
Click on your City Hall in the center of your City, then click on Title to go to the title screen. There you can see your rank in parentheses next to your ‘Prestige’ value.

6. Why does the experience gained from “Instant Progress” when training change?
Experience gained from “Instant Progress” increases as the level of your Training Grounds increases. Upgrade your Training Grounds to make instant progress more effective!

7. How high can I boost stats with Enlightenment?
The max for any single stat is calculated as the General’s Level plus 20. So, a level 30 General could have, at most, 50 points added to any stat. The maximum limit is 120.

8. What exactly does Reincarnation do?
Reincarnation will reset your General’s level to 1, but the base Unit Level will be reset to a higher level than before the General reincarnated. Once you level your General to the max level again, the unit level will be higher than before and your General will be stronger. This is a useful way to get stronger if you’re stuck on a Stage and can’t increase your Generals’ Levels any more.

9. Why do I sometimes use different amounts of Grain when I recruit units?
As your City Hall increases in level, units require more Grain to purchase. Grain will become more and more precious as you increase your level.

10. Why can’t I exchange any more Grain?
There is a limit on how much Grain you can exchange each day. Upgrading your Marketplace will increase this limit and reset your current daily limit. There is no limit on how much Grain you can buy from the Black Market, but the price will be doubled.  (Exchange limit resets every day at 00:00.)

11. How does the Grain Price change exactly?
The maximum Grain Price is 2.0 Grain per Silver, the minimum is 0.5 Grain per Silver. The Grain Price varies between 0.5 to 2.0 Grain/Silver, changing once every half hour. Once it reaches 2.0, it will decrease steadily until it reaches 0.5 again. Keep track of it, buy low, sell high and you’ll be doing just fine.

12. I found a bug! All my buildings complete instantly when I upgrade them!
That’s not a bug! The emphasis in Dynasty Saga is on the battles, not waiting around for buildings to complete. You’ll have to wait for your building teams to cool down between projects, but when you want to upgrade a building you can make it happen immediately!

13. How long can I use an added Building Team?
You can keep your new Building Team forever.

14. Why does one building team have a longer Cooldown than another after the same building project?
This is because of fatigue. The more times you use your building teams in a single day, the longer they will have to rest between projects. They will be restored to their original vigor at 5:00 AM every morning. Research and Rally Cooldowns also have a similar fatigue effect.

15. Why can’t I attack this General in the Campaign interface?
It could be that your Rally Cooldown is in progress, or it’s a grey or red army that you’ve already defeated. Yellow armies have a limited number of battles shared by all players across the server, if a yellow army has 0 “battles remaining,” you’ll have to wait for it to refresh. Look at the right side of the screen while you’re in the Campaign interface to see when “Elite Armies Refresh.” All Elite yellow armies will have more battles remaining at that time!

16. Do I get a reward when I reach 100% completion of a Stage?
Once you defeat all the armies in a stage, including the Legion battle, you will have completed 100% of the stage. After you finish the last battle, a large button will appear and you just have to click it to get your reward!

17. I’ve met all the requirements for a Region, but I still can’t move. What’s up?
Your Move Cooldown may still be in progress. You have to wait 24 hours after moving before you can move again!

18. Why is my Tax Revenue so much lower in some Regions than in others?
Regional Prosperity plays a big part in the Tax Revenue of players in the region. Invest Silver in the World interface to raise Prosperity and Tax Revenue for all players in the region!

19. What can I do after I run out of Rallies?
You will receive free chances to engage in one Farm battle, one Silver Mine battle, one Campaign battle, one Attack on another player, and one Subjugation without using a rally every day at 8:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 7:00 PM. Additionally, some VIP levels unlock options to use Gold for extra Rallies.

37. Does it consume a Rally to participate in Legion Battles?

38. We killed all the enemies during the AI Legion battle but lost anyway! What happened?
You can only win if you defeat all the enemies AND have armies remaining on the field. If your last remaining army wins on the third consecutive battle, they will leave the field like usual and the defending side will win because you have no armies remaining on the field.

39. When can I buy items from the Mall?

Every night, the engaged legions have 20 minutes to assemble legion members. There is a callout box of Legion Battle in city view. Click it to check the assembling time or enter the battle view. Note that the new members could only join the legion battle two days after the initiation.
In legion battle, the member limit for each legion is 50. The battle starts when the countdown is over. The gamers engaged in the battle can achieve 5 winning streaks at the most. The legion members that join the battle can be rewarded with bountiful legion contribution.

Boost and Draft In legion battles, gamers can boost their troops with battle points or Gold. Boost might fail at certain odds, but once it succeeds, Hit or Shield will be increased. Note that the more bonuses, the lower the success rate of boost. You can also draft soldiers before the battle begins.

Legion Plantation Harvest The winning legion can harvest from the plantation, 5 times every day. The Grains harvested can be double at certain odds. The Grains production of plantation is refreshed at 05:03 a.m. (server time). The occupation of plantation will end automatically in winter. Legions have to launch another battle to seize it.

All Generals can reincarnate after reaching level 51.

Reincarnation will reset a general to level 1, but the base unit level will be increased. As the base unit level increases, the general level required for Reincarnation will also increase.

There is no limit to the amount of times you can reincarnate, but the level requirement may raise beyond the current max level in the game. (You can only go up to level 110… for now.)

Alliance of Power between the Three Kingdoms

At the top of the world map, a triangle is shown depicting the balance of power between the three kingdoms. If any one Kingdom gets too strong (has too many players, or captures too many Regions), the other two Kingdoms will automatically enter an alliance. Kingdoms in alliance cannot attack one another, and can participate in Regional battles together, share regions, and battle AI Legions in the Campaign together (even when the team is restricted to your Kingdom only!).

Allied kingdoms can move cities to one another’s Regions.

Players of Allied Kingdoms cannot attack one another.

Allied Kingdoms cannot invade one another.

Allied Kingdoms are treated as one kingdom when entering Regional battles or forming teams against AI Legion battles in campaign.

High level Region specialties

Political: Can’t be occupied by other Kingdoms.

Economic: Investment returns double Prosperity.

Commercial: You can invest in other Level 100 Regions.

Military: Attacks on other Kingdoms will reduce Kingdom Allegiance by double.

Cultural: Accepts players from all Kingdoms.

Regional Price Index influences the price of Textiles. The higher the Price Index, the more profit you’ll see from selling your Textiles. The Price Index changes once every half hour, much like the Enhance success rate and Grain price.

a. Daily Missions: Each time the Daily Mission list is refreshed, the chance of higher difficulty Missions appearing is directly related to the most difficult mission completed this week. If you refresh your Daily Missions and complete a very difficult mission on the first day of the week, you will gain access to more difficult missions every time the list refreshes for the rest of the week. This is key because more difficult missions have rewards beyond Battle Points, including White, Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, and even Purple Spell Books!

a1. How does the Auto Complete Daily Missions of my level 4 assistant work?
Your assistant will automatically complete a daily mission at no cost every half an hour until you run out of daily missions. You do not have to do any actions, the mission will simply be completed without any action being taken i.e. no need to collect tax or trade grains etc. Your assistant will also choose the mission with the highest star to complete.

b. Each of the starting Generals has unique abilities and Gambits.

c. Among the Generals you defeat early on in the Dong Zhuo Stage and Renegade Forces Stages, Hua Xiong, Xu Rong, Cai Dan, Dong Zhuo, and Gong Sunzan can all be recruited for great synergy with your starting General. Cai Dan, from the Renegade Forces stage, is critical for any Gambit strategy for the entire game. Xu Rong, of the Dong Zhuo Stage, is a strong choice for high damage well until the mid-game. Explore your options and formulate a strategy that suits you!

d. Normal damage is countered by Normal defense, Gambit damage is countered by Gambit defense, and Spell damage is countered by Spell defense.

e. If you are struggling against a single opponent in the Campaign, remember to exhaust all of your options to become more powerful: Enhance your Gear, upgrade Research, level your Generals, Enlighten your Generals, try different Formations, hunt for better Gear, etc.
