Hi I am styke, most people refer to me in game as Tank (for Tank gate, my main char) feel free to let me know any modification if needed and if it helped.

This is not a perfect farming guide, but will probably help most of you make more gold than before.

I am playing on NA, but I presume the same things will apply for EU players.

It is important that you, yourself check how much gold u get per hour for every maps since each player are different. For most week I find myself making more money elsewhere than in the boring silverwaste. This guide will also content almost a 100% complete and detailed way to farm cursed shore which is the map I make the most for the good map reward rotation when I am leading a good zerg.

Those are usually the maps I farm on each week rotation.
– Silverwaste week 1 and 3.
– Frostgorge Sound week 2.
– Southsun Cove week 5 and 7.
– Cursed Shore week 4, 6 and 8.

For my setup, I use copper-fed salvage-o-matic and silver-fed salvage-o-matic in my shared inventory slot. Copper for blue and green items, silver for rares (silver is as good as mystic salvage kit if you prefer to use that). Copper is definitively the thing that made me do more gold, by getting materials instead of selling items at merchant. I also use the rare fractal box 20slots, and put it as last bag so my rares go to the bottom and I can salvage my green and blue items easily.

Hot maps:
Important to note that u can do champion hero point once a day for 25 of the map currency and few items, it is good to do when you are waiting on meta to begin.

Dragon Stand:
– I don’t believe magic find affects pods opening reward, so it isn’t necessary to use any magic find food and utilities for this map.
– There is not any great guild bonus for this map but map reward bonus is probably the best one here.
– Every time an outpost gets secure, multiples pods will spawn around it, be sure to get the pods from all 6 outposts (2 per lanes) after you defeat the Mouth of Mordremoth.
– To be sure to get into a map that is doing the meta, use the dulfy timer and get around 10 minutes in advance into Dragon Stand. There should be a commander forming a squad for next map, just need to taxi over on him once maps reset.

Tangled Depths:
– I don’t believe magic find affects crystallized caches opening reward, so it isn’t necessary to use any magic find food and utilities for this map.
– There is not any great guild bonus for this map but map reward bonus is probably the best one here.
– Crystallized caches are in every lane, more should appear as the meta progress in that specific outpost.
-Get into map around 15minutes before the meta, time to get organized. Killing chak gerent is the fastest way to obtain ley-line crystals.

Auric Basin:
– I don’t believe magic find affects exalted chests opening reward, so it isn’t necessary to use any magic find food and utilities for this map.
– There is not any great guild bonus for this map but map reward bonus is probably the best one here.
– Get into the map when challenges start, the zerg strategy no longer works so just choose a side and do the meta also stay in the squad u taxied in. You can farm the chests after the meta is over on multiples characters and in multiples maps/ips. So you can use the squad to change character and get back on a victorious maps or just taxi over to another victorious map. Note that there are 27 chests (5 grand) per victorious map.

Verdant Brink:
– I don’t believe magic find affects airships cargo opening reward, so it isn’t necessary to use any magic find food and utilities for this map.
– There is not any great guild bonus for this map but map reward bonus is probably the best one here.
-Assist one of the five outposts. Itzel is known to be one of the longest so it is good to know some people are on it.
– For the night, it is important to spread out and defending rally point. They are 4 rally point per outpost if all of the reached t4 during day phase. There are 3 defenses of the rally points events, at 44:30, 34:30 and 24:30 on night timer. Canopy bosses will spawn on the 20minutes marks. When rally point defense is over, u have around 5minutes to go around and kill champions and bring back rally supplies to any camp to help the meta progress. A good way to spread out the people so all rally points get defended is by using mentor tag. Commander tag usually bring all the people that do not know what to do and lazy people which we want to prevent (we do not want 20 people camping 1 rally). Mentor up when 2-3 people are at your rally point so that way everyone on the map knows that this one is defended and people can also see where help is needed.

Silverwaste:

Chest train:
– Use omnomberry bar with any of the Halloween utility giving 30% magic find (like pumpkin oil).
– Use the magic find guild bonus.
– This guide will not show you how to spot chest, I am sure there are somewhere you find it or just learn with a commander/mentor in game.
– Be sure to tag event like veterans and skritt burglar since they give 1 stack of perseverance (max of 5, increase magic find) since they are the fastest and easiest way to get stack.
– If u tend to lag behind the zerg, use a thief and also press f11 -> show all interactable object name, that way you will see where dug chests are.

Events train:
– Use peppermint omnomberry bar (extra 10%karma) with any of the Halloween utility giving 30% magic find (like pumpkin oil).
– Use the map reward guild bonus if you need bandit crests, if not use the magic find one.
– Few things to know before I tell the usual farming train route: after taking a fort or defending one (successful or not) a veteran will spawn nearby. You do NOT need to stay a fort for the whole timer to get reward and you should not.
May be a bit hard to remember all at first but gets easy after some hours of farming.
Take red, kill vet around red, take indigo, kill vet around indigo, take blue, kill vet around blue, take amber, kill vet around amber, tag amber/indigo escort bulls, kill red vet (1st defense phase should be over when zerg gets around amber), defend indigo, kill indigo vet, tag blue bull, defend blue, kill blue vet, defend amber, kill amber vet, go back to red for defense event and indigo/amber bulls to tag then repeat.
– Do not think I should be saying anything about breach and VW, after VW I usually kill the first 3 champions then taxi to another event map to skip the downtime.
Important: when I say defend X you should be killing (tag) a maximum of 10-15 monsters so staying around for like 1minutes 30seconds.

Southsun Cove:
– You want to do karka train on this map, events take too long but they are a nice bonus. You are here to farm karka shells and powerful bloods.
– Use omnomberry bar with any of the Halloween utility giving 30% magic find (like pumpkin oil).
– Use the magic find guild bonus.
– Ranger is one of the best class to farm this map.
– To have a good karka train speed, you want at least 6-8 people. Veteran karka drop 1 karka shell 100% of the time, you have a chance to get a 2nd one. Be sure to tag it during its first life bar for drop. Young karka have about 20% chance to drop a karka shell on kill. Young and veteran have the same chance to drop powerful blood. You want to focus on killing veteran and attacking few time young ones. Let steampipe camp defense event fail always for more loot and more young karkas on retake.
– On a very good train, you should get around 120 karka shells and 6-10 powerful bloods (mf helps to get t6 blood rather than t5 on kill) per hour.

Frostgorge Sound:
– I have never leaded Frostgorge Sound and I am not too familiar with it. Though I know that week 2 of reward rotation is the best of any map, huge amount of people farming this map so just follow a commander for events. This is also the map on week rotation 2 you want to use the pact scout mapping materials.
– Use peppermint omnomberry bar (extra 10%karma) with any of the Halloween utility giving 30% magic find (like pumpkin oil).
– Use the map reward guild bonus.
DR: Diminishing return, affects this map, go to cursed shore section for full details about it.

Cursed Shore:
I hope that I have not bored too many people yet and a lot are still reading this part since I love farming Cursed Shore since this map reward very good commander and big zerg. But trolls and people not listening to commander calls can really hurt the gold u make here so it is a 2 edges blade.

– Use peppermint omnomberry bar (extra 10%karma) with any of the Halloween utility giving 30% magic find (like pumpkin oil).
– Use the map reward guild bonus.

DR: Diminishing return, it affects karma you get for events and loot on kill but not map reward progression. For maximum karma and champion coffers try to change character when you are getting under 250 karma for gold credit on an event or if you are starting to miss champion boxes drop. Use as many characters as you have (depending how many you have with waypoints on this map) and do a rotation to minimize DR effect. I usually use 6 characters and they are almost all a bit DR most of the time. I cannot tell you to switch after a fix amount of time since DR is based on how many events you did and how many monsters u tagged/killed.

– You will get a lot of heavy moldy bags that you should open if you need t5/t6 materials or sell if you don’t since their price are going up atm. You also get a lot of gilded coffers (champion steel box) that you can open on a lower level if you want to get lower level item (just like silverwaste bags).

– Staff guardians, staff necromancer, flamethrower engineer, staff elementalist are the best here. You want a lot of aoes to tag the maximum amount of risens possible.

So I will now start explaining the best way I found to farm Cursed Shore. Try to have a map open for waypoint name if you do not know them.

First of all, melandru temple defense event, grenth temple defense event and jofast camp defense event should always fail more chains event and more loot.

Temples(1st priority): On a new map, try to do arah then mel then grenth (arah is the fastest and often people let jonez dead so you can clear melandru before grenth.

Melandru temple chain assault: There is usually a karma merchant at verdance waypoint, when the defense is up you will not see a karma vendor icon on your map nor the merchant icon.

Izzy npc starts moving to 1st beacon 8minutes after the fail happens, the following events are escort to 2nd beacon, defense of 2nd beacon (5minutes loot event), escort to temple, melandru priest and cleansing melandru temple (6minutes loot event). Defense event are around 1h30 to 1h50minutes.

Grenth temple chain assault: There is usually a karma merchant at murdered dreams waypoint, when the defense is up you will not see a karma vendor icon on your map nor the merchant icon.

After a fail defense: defense event (start around 2minutes after grenth temple fall) must be done west of anchorage, after that event jonez npc will head back to his tent and start an 8minutes nap. Following events are escort to temple, grenth priest and cleansing of grenth temple (6minutes loot event). Defense event are around 1h30 to 1h50minutes.
If canon defense event fails, there will be a full walk starting 10minutes later on the dock between meddler and anchorage waypoint. Events for the full walk are: Escort to canon emplacement, defense of the canon (on assault phase, this event scales so bring the zerg for possible multiple champions), escort to death’s gaze, destroy risen energy pods at death’s gaze (jonez will not nap on a full walk assault), escort to temple, grenth priest and cleansing of grenth temple (6minutes loot phase).

Arah defense/assault: There are usually 2 karma merchant at arah waypoint, when the defense is up you will only see 1 karma vendor icon on your map.
This will probably be the most contested point of my guide but the best way I found about Arah is letting defense event fail IF: Melandru or Grenth temple assault is ongoing or if you realize too late its up and below 4minutes left, if that is the case, assault will result in more loot.

For the defense event itself: 10 minutes of loot and a singular event, risen High Wizard will NOT be up of the first defense after an assault, but he will spawn on the following ones. After an assault the defense event will be up around 1h45minutes later. After a defense, the next one will be around 1h15minutes later.

After a failed defense: Go immediately to anchorage waypoint since it will be contested 20seconds later. It is a 6minutes scaling events, bring zerg for multiples champions. After that are the trio (dexa/angaria/didi npcs), dexa first, angaria at 8:30 on the timer and didi at 7:00. Following that are the arah assault events: kill the giants and risens, capture the promenade of the god and slay the risen High Wizard guarding the gate of arah.

After a failed anchorage defense event OR on a new map: Chan escort will start 8minutes later at meddler waypoint. Chan escort is probably the easiest I know to fail, DO NOT SCALE this event or champion jester will annihilate the escort and you have to wait 8minutes again. Following chan escort are: capturing anchorage, trio then the 3 arah assault events.

Loot events(2nd priority): These are the main events (when temples are done) that you will be waiting on.

Penitent defense: The best event if you do not count temples, 6minutes loot event scaling for multiples champs. Penitent defense has a 30min to 1hour cd sadly so it is pretty hard to plan around. When penitent waypoint is contested, the defense event is up.

Shelter gate defense: Best event after temples and penitent, 5minutes of loot event scaling for multiples champs. Shelter defense has a 25minutes to 35minutes cd. If shelter fall (because you are at a temple or penitent) blix npc will be up (you start the event) 8minutes later at penitent for escort to shelter on a 4 mobs scaling spawn and securing of shelter. When shelter gate waypoint is contested, the defense event is up.

You should be planning all others events around penitent and shelter since they are the best event beside temple and you DO NOT control them. (their spawn)

Jofast escort and securing camp: This is why you ask for jofast defense to fail. Jofast npc will be at shelter waiting for you to start her chain events 8minutes after the fail defense. Both the escort and the securing the camp are scaling events, together they take about 10minutes to do. CD on jofast defense event is around 25minutes. When jofast defense event, jofast waypoint will be contested.

Loana: East of meddler, you start the event. Escort loana to reliquary vault, kill the risen King and defend loana (3minutes loot event). Takes 8minutes to do and has a 25minutes cd.

Plinx: North of R&D waypoint, on the top of the map, you start the event. Plinx is a 5 events chain: defend plinx, escort plinx, secure landing zone, escort plinx to caer (loot phase) then champion abomination spawns where the landing zone was. Be sure to slay the champion abomination for plinx timer to reset. Takes around 10-11minutes with the champion to do and has a 25minutes cd.

Megill: Good loot but I DO NOT do these event with a big zerg or it will be a mess and almost no loot. First is the defend megill from 5 risens waves north of shipwreck waypoint. The loot event comes next, the burning corpses event. Ask for zerg to stay on commander and let him/her burn the corpses, stay together for maximum loot. Then be sure to escort megill back to safe ground so the event can happen again later. Takes about 6minutes total and has a cd of 25-30minutes.

Champion events (3rd priority) : Those are downtime killer while you wait for loot events or temples to be ready if you know they are soon.

Giant: North of meddler waypoint, has a cd of 10minutes. After killing giant, always check if gavbeon landing is waypoint is contested, if it is go do the event there (can either be the recapture or defense event, the defense event can spawn champion so watch for those).

Ooze: North of meddler waypoint, has a cd of 25-30minutes (can buy usable flamethrower at npc after).

Archmage: East of caer waypoint, has a cd of 10minutes.

Megalodon: West of shipwreck waypoint, has a cd of 10min.

Abomination: West of caer, spawn after 4th event of plinx and reset plinx timer.

Captain Rotbeard: North of shipwreck at the bottom of death anthem POI, need to open the big chest to spawn him. Has a daily (once per character a day) chest once he is dead next to his spawn point. Has a cd of 30minutes.

Broodmother: North of R&D waypoint, slay her before starting plinx if she is there (that one is part of rakkan chain event which you should not be doing). Hard to put a cd on her since there is an event after and before that you should not be keeping track of.

If you want to lead cursed shore you need to plan your things, like doing plinx when grenth fails and send someone do canon defense. Doing jofast escort and securing her camp while waiting on izzy for melandru. Doing plinx and loana after shelter and few champions until next shelter (that is if you know penitent is not soon).
