Valheim Stone Farming Guide

Here is a technique to get A LOT of stone very quickly, useful if you want to build a base made of stone:

Place a portal in your base (I named mine “Stone”), take something to mine stone (antler pickaxe, iron pickaxe, …), your hammer, and the materials to build a workbench and the other portal, then head towards a plains biome. Once arrived find and go near one of the big obelisks (the super tall stones that you can see from miles away).

Place a workbench and your portal. Now use your pickaxe to mine the base of the obelisk.

Once you destroy the last piece of stone that holds it on the ground, the entire obelisk will destroy, literally showering you with stone ready to gather.

You should collect quite a lot just by standing underneath the obelisk when it gets destroyed, then you can pick up the rest on the ground.

Once you’re done transfering all these stones to your base using the teleporter, destroy the portal and workbench, go to the next obelisk, then rinse and repeat.

Hopefully this allows you to build your castle in no time without having to spend hours bashing boulders around.
