{A} What’s SleuthHound?

First to arrive at SleuthHound, type /Join Sleuthhound. Now, Sleuthhound is a mystery which you have to work out. It takes quite along time to complete the mystery, so I decided to make this Guide to help you guys! When you arrive at SleuthHound talk to the NPC, Curry. Then a cut scene will open and henceforward the mystery shall begin!

{B} How do I figure out the mystery? – Suspects

1) Skull Keys

Now here’s the part where it goes a little tricky. To go to different rooms on SleuthHound you’ll need to receive Skull Keys. An easy way to receive Skulls Keys is going onto Scene 7 – you might want to see the link that I provided on SleuthHound. Just keep on killing the Chair & the Table until you get 9 Skull Keys, which is the maximum of Skull Keys you could receive; also you can use the Let’s Party! Thread which will make ye old’e kills quicker.

2) Suspects

Once you have 9 Skull Keys you could go to any room you want, apart from the Harmoire room. Just keep on visiting to different rooms and talk to NPC’s, and you’ll find Suspects. You could use this check sheet that Beleen created. Another thing, please use this this map (made by AbelC), it’s easier finding the thing, and you won’t get lost. Once you have found all 6 Suspects you are onto Weapons. The 6 Suspects are:

  • Agatha Peacock – Scene 17
  • Alfred Hitchgreen – Scene 21
  • Edgar Allen Plum – Scene 22
  • Sir Arthur Mustard – Scene 26
  • Angela Whiteberry – Scene 9
  • Scarlet Drew – Scene 32

3) Where are the Suspects?

From my navigations, I’m going to tell you where the suspects are, from when you arrive at Sleuthhound. So when completing to find someone, then go back to the arrival scene of Sleuthhound. (NPC Curry’s Scene)

{C} How do I figure out the mystery? – Weapons

The next part of the mystery is getting the Weapons. Yeah, I know the mystery is pretty long… Remember to pick up 9 Skull Keys again, is going to make it easier to go to rooms. Also, only the Chair and Table drop Skull Keys, so like I said farm on Scene 6! The 6 Weapons are:

  • Carpenter’s Hammer
  • Axe of Indictment
  • Hand of the Polearm
  • Rose Petal Sceptor
  • Sleuthhound Blade
  • Hardy Dagger

{D} How do I find clues? / How do I turn in?

When you’re on this stage; you have either two ways of figuring this mystery out, they are both the same, however one takes longer and one is easier. Finding the clues and working it out is the method which you have to find the clues and figure it out yourself, I cannot help you, as the mystery is different every time you play it. The guess and check method is the easiest and quickest way to complete the mystery, whereas finding the clues and figuring on the other hand is the hard and long method.

When you go to Curry, and press solve mystery, and screen should pop up, which will say:
Who did it? –
What Weapon did they use? –
Where they did it? –

1) Finding the clues and working it out – Long method

Go around Sleuthhound and find 9 NPC’s that have magnifying glass above their heads, this will give you clues, this relies upon you to figure it out.The 9 Clue Givers are:

  • Jarvis the Butler
  • Honor the Maid
  • Poole the Butler
  • Eira the Maid
  • John the Butler
  • Didet the Butler
  • Sebastian the Butler
  • Moiselle the Maid
  • Handy the Butler

Honor the Maid

General time taken: 7-9 minutes

2) Guess and check – quickest method

Go to Curry, and press on solve mystery, this will pop-up a screen and there you could input your answers. As you can see, there’s a solve and check clues button. The check clues button is the scheme of this method; this button will make Curry say something based on the answer you put in.

First put in a random answer for the first option, it could be anything at all, however start from first to last. When you finish putting in your answer in the first option, press check clues. If Curry says,

“Are you clueless?”

Then you have put in the wrong answer. Then choose another answer for the first option, and press check clues, if Curry says the same thing try again, keep on doing (put in answer and check clues) this and eventually Curry will say,

“I think you need to look for more clues.”

Then you have gotten the first option’s answer correct. Then go onto the second option, do the same thing you have done with the second option. Eventually Curry will say,

“Something sounds a little off!”

Then you got the first and second options correct. Now do this for the last option and Curry will say,

“You know what? That is a good possibility.”

Then you have gotten everything correct, and press solve. That should open a cut scene.

Note: When pressing check clues. This will reset all of your option’s answer, so remember to choose the correct answer you have put in for all the option, then carry as normal for the second one.
Also if you have hit solve accidently, do not click the “Go to Room” button, or else you’ve to find all the weapons and suspects again. Just “X” out the window and continue guessing.

General time taken: 4-5 minutes

{E} What are the treasure chests for?

If suspect was Edgar Allen Plum, for example; when you defeat the Harmoire, it will drop a key. When you have completed the mystery when choosing Edgar Allen Plum, it will drop his costume. For every time you do the mystery it will be a different suspect each time, and will unlock their armour when completing the mystery. Also remember that the Harmoire drops the mystery weapons. So, get farming!

Agatha PeacockPeacock’s Costume
Alfred Hitchgreen Hitchgreen’s Costume
Edgar Allen Plum Plum’s Costume
Sir Arthur Mustard Mustard’s Costume
Angela Whiteberry Whiteberry’s Costume
Scarlet Drew Scarlet’s Costume

{F} Credits & Edits!

Yep, the mystery is finally done!
I’ve put my blood, sweat, and tears in this Guide, so I hope you like it. Okay maybe not tears… Sorry if the Guide’s long, and yeah I know the mystery is long and hard to do, but when you know where to go, it’s really easy.
