So lets start with Tier 1:

Tier 1:

  • Regeneration Master
Gather 3 Regeneration Globes to permanently grant you +3 health per second. Stacks.

Not needed at all, tassadar has shield and evasive skill to survive. Skip this talent.

  • Path of the Wizard
Your Hero gains an extra 5 Mana and 0.2 Mana Regen for every level gained.

Again, not needed. You dont have glaring mana problems.

  • Time Rift (W)
    Increases the damage by 25%.

Bad talent. Damage on rift is periodical, and nobody gonna stand in it for its full duration. Damage buff will be just wasted and only useful vs minions. Skip it.

  • Healing Ward
Place on the ground to heal allies in an area for 1.95% of their max Health every second for 10 seconds

20% health heal in 10 seconds within a huge aoe? Yes please. Great utility talent.

Conclusion for tier 1:
Healing ward. As a support hero, mass healing is always useful.

Tier 2:

  • Focused Attack
Every 5 seconds, your next Basic Attack deals 30% additional damage.

Straight up bad on any hero, Tassadar included. Way too low basic damage to be any useful.

  • Space Jump (W)
Allies that enter your Time Warp gain 20% Move Speed for 2 seconds.

Useful for chasing, useful for escaping, great talent.

  • Reinforce Structure (Q)
Protective Shield is 100% stronger and lasts 100% longer when cast on structures.

Not worth it, barely useful. If your base is getting wrecked chances are you’ll lose regardless.

  • Promote
Give target allied lane minion +200% permanent health and +100% permanent damage.

Can be useful for pushing, but it wont help you much in battle. I’d say Space jump is better.

Conclusion for tier 2:
Space Jump. Movespeed buff is useful in any game.

Tier 3:

  • Battle Momentum
Basic Attacks reduce your Ability cooldowns by 0.5 seconds.

Bad choice for Tassadar. Your abilities are on low CD already and your attack speed is pretty bad. Besides you’ll spend most of the fight behind the lines throwing shields on allies. Even if you want to go damage Tassadar, its not worth it.

  • Khala’s Embrace (Q)
If Protective Shield expires, 50% of the shield remains indefinitely.

Great talent, you can shield entire team before the fight for extra HP. Very useful.

  • Searing Attacks
Activate to increase Basic Attack damage by 50% for 5 seconds. Attacks cost 20 Mana per hit.

Take this talent if you want to go DPS route with Tassadar.

  • Calldown: MULE
Repairs the target structure, granting it health and ammo over 30 seconds.

Hardly useful, bad talent. If enemy team wants to push a fort, trust me they will destroy it regardless of this ability.

Conclusion for tier 3:
Support – Khala’s Embrace
DPS – Searing Attacks

Ultimate abilities

  • Twilight Messiah (R)
Cooldown: 120 seconds Duration: 15 seconds
Tassadar gains a 210 point Shield, his Basic Attacks deal 94 damage, and his Basic Attacks splash for 47 additional damage. Lasts for 15 seconds.
  • Force Wall (R)
Cooldown: 12 seconds Duration: 3 seconds
Creates a force wall that blocks pathing.

Conclusion:
If you want DPS go Messiah, if you want to support go Force Wall. Simple as that

Tier 5:

  • Spell Shield
Periodically reduces the damage received from Hero Abilities by 50%. Stores up to 2 charges.

While its useful, other talents in this tier are straight up better

  • Distortion Beam
Basic Attacks slow enemies by 25% for 1.5 seconds.

Again, good talent but this tier has a clear winner and its Shrink Ray.

  • Scryer (Trait)
Oracle lasts 2.97 seconds longer and grants 15% increased movement speed.

Not really worth it, barely does anything. You can detect stealth with enough attention even without this trait at all.

  • Shrink Ray
Activate to reduce an enemy Hero’s damage by 50% and Movement Speed by 50% for 4 seconds.

Reduce damage by 50% AND movement speed by 50% for whole 4 seconds? Godlike talent, braindead choice.

Conclusion for tier 5:
Shrink Ray slams its competition to the ground and below. Its just too good.

Tier 6:

  • Prescience (E)
Void Shift will automatically activate after Tassadar falls below 15% life. This effect has a 60 second cooldown.

Automatic panic button, useful only for new players. More skilled players should just skip it in this tier.

  • Dimensional Shift (E)
Move 50% faster and heal for 40 while Void Shifted.

Useful, but both support and dps Tassadars have better choice in this tier.

  • Rewind
Activate to reduce the cooldown of your Basic Abilities by 10 seconds.

Activate for instant second wall and second shield for your ally. Must have for support Tassadars.

  • Berserk
Activate to increase your Attack Speed by 50% and Movement Speed by 10% for 4 seconds.

Talent of choice for those who go DPS route. Activate ultimate and then berserk, and you’ll deal lots of damage.

Conclusion for tier 6:
Support – rewind
DPS – Berserk

Tier 7:

  • Resurgence of the Storm
Upon dying, revive back at your Altar after 5 seconds. This can occur once every 120 seconds.

Not bad, but ultimate upgrades are way too good to pass up.

  • Fury of the Storm
Basic Attacks bounce twice to nearby enemies for 50% damage.

Not a bad talent for DPS Tassadar, but i think his ultimate upgrade is better.

  • Shadow Messiah (R)
Increases damage in Twilight Messiah form by 25% and increases attack range by 3.

Damage increase always welcome and range increase is huge. Talent of choice for DPS route.

  • Force Gate (R)
Force Wall no longer blocks allied pathing and has 25% increased range.

No longer screws your teammates. Must have for support Tassadar.

Conclusion for tier 7:
DPS – Shadow Messiah
Support – Force gate.
