Guide to every HS achievement and daily quest (and how to get each one)

Firstly, having a list of every achievement in game (Like every other Blizzard game) would be nice. But anyway here it goes:

Achievements

Arrrrrr!!! – Acquire every Pirate
Reward – Captain’s Parrot
The quickest way to get this is buy all the pirates with dust or get lucky with pack openings.

Beta Hero! – Thank you for helping to test our Store!
Reward – Gelbin Mekkatorque (Golden)
All you have to do is spend real money to buy a card pack or arena entry. One of either will do. And if you want the card, you have to do this soon as after the beta is over you can’t acquire the gold version of the card. The standard version is available always though.

Big Winner – Win 1000 games in any mode.
Reward – 300 gold
You can spend ages and grind this out, but because the reward for this is pretty small it’s almost not worth doing this. This will happen eventually if you keep playing the game, do need to specifically do grind for this.

Chicken Dinner – Win 100 games in any mode.
Reward – 300 gold
This will happen relatively with some time in the game. Very easy to achieve, just keep winning matches.

Crafting Time – Disenchant a card.
Reward – 95 dust
Just disenchant any random card you do not like or just go and pick a card you have more than 2 of and specifically disenchant it (don’t press disenchant all doubles) and you will get this. 95 dust is not much but every little bit helps.

Crushed Them All! – Defeat every Expert AI Hero.
Reward – 100g
100g is just one pack. But a great reward but better than nothing. I recommend doing this one as soon as you can once you have a few decks and classes at level 10+. It’s great practice before you hit ranked/casual play and the expert AI uses strange card combo too, which is good for the practice.

Enter The Arena – Enter The Arena.
Awards you 1 free arena credit.
All you need to do is enter the arena (not pay to play the arena, just click of the arena button) and the game gives you, your first arena run through free. I suggest saving it up till you have a little game experience because the arena can be very tough and wasting it can sour your initial impressions of arena.

First Blood – Complete a game in Play mode.
Reward – 1 card pack
Just play your first game in ranked and casual, win or lose, does not matter, just do not concede and you get a free card pack. Easy to do and a nice reward for starting out in the game.

Golden Arrrrrr!!! – Acquire every Golden Pirate.
Reward – Captain’s Parrot (Golden)
The quickest way to get this is buy all the golden pirates with dust or get lucky with pack openings.

Golden Mrglglglgl! – Acquire every Golden Murloc.
Reward – Old Murk-Eye (Golden)
The quickest way to get this is buy all the golden murlocs with dust or get lucky with pack openings.

Got the Basics! – Collect every card in the Basic Set.
Reward – 100g
This is the level every class to at least level 10 achievement. You can do it vs the AI or other players, your choice. I would recommend this is your first priority in the game. It gets you more cards in the game and gives you the vital initial experience you need to understand the game. If you vs the expert AI while doing this and manage to beat every expert AI class in the process you can work on 2 achievements at once.

Level Up – Get any class to level 10.
Reward – A card pack
Your first level 10 with any class gets you this achievement. It will happen automatically while going for “Got the Basics!”.

Mrglglglgl! – Acquire every Murloc.
Reward – Old Murk-Eye
The quickest way to get this is buy all the murlocs with dust or get lucky with pack openings.

One of Everything! – Collect every card in the Expert Set.
Reward – 100g
A pretty poor reward for owning every single card in the game. This is one achievement most people won’t get for years unless you spend lots of money in the game on card packs and get very lucky with them. I would not bother trying for this achievement unless you are a card collector and are ok with taking a long time to get this.

Ready to Go! – Unlock every Hero.
Reward – 100g
beating each class for the first time in practice mode gets this achievement and then you can use those heroes in other game modes. You can do with vs the expert AI to knock over multiple achievements at once but . . . if you are new to the game you might not be skilled enough to do so. I was not skilled enough to do this initially so I juast beat the lot vs basic AI and after that went on to the expert AI.

Ready to Rock! – Thank you for attending BlizzCon 2013!
Reward – Elite Tauren Chieftain (Golden)
The standard version of this card you can get anytime. The gold version isthe reward for having a real or virtual ticket from the 2013 Blizzcon. The gold version can no longer be acquired if you do not have it.

The Duelist – Play 3 games in Play mode.
Reward – Unsure but possibly 100g
Just play 3 matches in ranked or casual without conceding. Winning or losing does not matter.

Daily Quests
Most daily quests can not be done in practice vs the AI.
Also it is advisable to do daily quests in casual mode, so you don’t lose any ranking while trying to accomplish these tasks.

3 Victories! – Win 3 games with any class.
Reward – 40g
The best way to do this is just pick your favourite class and use this as practice. You can choose other classes if you want to also.

Beat Down – Deal 100 damage to enemy heroes.
Reward – 40g
As long as you hit the enemy hero a few times you’ll eventually achieve this. But if you want to do it faster you’ll need to be winning matches without the enemy conceding. The best way for this os the high damage finishers. The one turn kill cheese or other such 20+ damage in one turn finishers. The other player won’t see it coming and have a chance to concede so you can get all that nice enemy hero damage you want. And murloc is not always the best way, it’s a fast deck but many people concede when the match is effectively lost, and that can be long before the hero is actually dead.

Destroy them All – Destroy 40 minions.
Reward – 40g
You can just play matches to slowly earn this or a quicker way is to forget about the enemy hero and build a totally defensive deck and only kill the enemy minions. And try to do that as efficiently as possible. A large minion control deck works well for this. You don’t have to worry too much about enemy aoe and can minion trade efficiently. Also use all spells to kill minions. Give yourself a few matches and this one is pretty easy to do.

Druid or Hunter Victory – Win 2 games with Druid or Hunter.
Druid or Rogue Victory – Win 2 games with Druid or Rogue.
Hunter or Mage Victory – Win 2 games with Hunter or Mage.
Mage or Shaman Victory – Win 2 games with Mage or Shaman.
Paladin or Priest Victory – Win 2 games with Paladin or Priest.
Paladin or Warrior Victory – Win 2 games with Paladin or Warrior.
Priest or Warlock Victory – Win 2 games with Priest or Warlock.
Rogue or Warrior Victory – Win 2 games with Rogue or Warrior.
Shaman or Warlock Victory – Win 2 games with Shaman or Warlock.
Reward – 40g
These quests are all worth 40g each and are often traded in for another because of the low gold reward and the fact you might get 2 classes you are not good at. All of these quests are the same thing, get 2 wins with either of the 2 listed classes, does not matter which one of the 2 you use. The catch is you might not be as good with the 2 class choices you have to choose. But in saying this, it’s good practice. It’s ok to lose a bit before you complete this achievement. Eventually you’ll get the achievement done. Look online for deck creation ideas if you find a specific class hard to win with.

Druid or Hunter Dominance – Win 5 games with Druid or Hunter.
Druid or Rogue Dominance – Win 5 games with Druid or Rogue.
Hunter or Mage Dominance – Win 5 games with Hunter or Mage.
Mage or Shaman Dominance – Win 5 games with Mage or Shaman.
Paladin or Priest Dominance – Win 5 games with Paladin or Priest.
Paladin or Warrior Dominance – Win 5 games with Paladin or Warrior.
Priest or Warlock Dominance – Win 5 games with Priest or Warlock.
Rogue or Warrior Dominance – Win 5 games with Rogue or Warrior.
Shaman or Warlock Dominance – Win 5 games with Shaman or Warlock.
Reward – 60g
These quests are all worth 60g each All of these quests are the same thing, get 5 wins with either of the 2 listed classes, does not matter which one of the 2 you use. The catch is you might not be as good with the 2 class choices you have to choose. But in saying this, it’s good practice. It’s ok to lose a bit before you complete this achievement. Eventually you’ll get the achievement done. Look online for deck creation ideas if you find a specific class hard to win with.

Only the Mighty – Play 20 minions that cost 5 or more.
Reward – 40g
This achievement can be tough if you’re not used to playing with high cost minions. The catch here is having just enough early game board control to survive till turn 5 then you can start placing out the big minions. Stacking your deck a decent number of 5-6 mana minions is probably the best idea as that way in later turns you still have 4-5 mana for a spell or weaker minion too. This will probably take a few matches to complete. If you can get out 3-4 big minions a match you’re doing well. Certainly not a quick to complete daily quest.

The Meek Shall Inherit – Play 40 minions that cost 2 or less.
Reward – 40g
The best way to achieve this is use a rush deck like murloc. And spam out the low cost minions and not caring if you win or lose. I usually exchange this quest for another as it’s pretty annoying to do. But a good rush deck could power this one out.

Spell Master – Cast 40 spells.
Reward – 40g
Choose any spell heavy class like Rogue or Mage and you’ll eventually get this. Just aim to spam out your spells and forget about winning and eventually you’ll get this. Will take a few matches to get this one. And currently the coin is a spell so it counts towards this.

Total Dominance – Win 7 games in any mode.
Reward – 100g
I have never gotten this quest but it’s a keeper because of the 100g reward. Just choose any class you can win with and grind out 7 wins. Use the class you are best with to make this quest go down quicker.
