Scarlet Blade Choosing a Class Guide

Scarlet Blade Choosing a Class Guide by Evaeri

Have you ever wondered what class you should choose before you try Scarlet Blade’s Beta?

I took out all the information from other threads, and merged them into this thread to help YOU decide what YOU want to try first in Scarlet Blade.

Please help and contribute as much as possible to this guide if you have any knowledge of Queen’s Blade.

Defender Video

Pros:

• Highest HP and Defense (Tank Class)
• Ranged Stun
• Debuffs and Silence
• HP and Defense buffs
• Can become unkillable late-game with high damage and defense.
• One of the best end-game PvP classes

Cons:

• Lower damage than some classes (needs verification)
• Melee class, could be taken down easily from a distance if Defender doesn’t used her ranged stun
• Useless at tanking and killing at lower levels
• Can be killed if kited and unexperienced

Whipper Video

Pros:

• High HP and Defense
• Good damage
• Debuffs
• Ranged hooking and stun skill (Hooks in the target then stuns them, lethal against ranged characters)
• Mid-ranged and Melee class
• AoE Silence and Melee AoE burning
• Defense buffs (Has the highest defense buff, but only lasts for a minute.)
• Crowd control
• Fastest grinder and farmer
• Best in PvP/Battlegrounds at early levels (could be good in late-game too, but needs verification)

Cons:

• One of the defense buffs decreases movement speed
• Not as good late-game, but can gain lots of kills from burning
• Not really a tank class

Notes:

• Max AoE skills and buffs

Shadow Walker Video

Pros:

• Average HP, not sure about Defense
• Stealth
• Good at PvP/Battlegrounds in small groups or just 1v1
• Debuffs
• AoE Silence and Stun
• Crowd control
• Lots of evasion, accuracy, critical and move speed buffs (pretty OP)

Cons:

• Can be disabled
• Stealth is useless against some classes
• Doesn’t have the best dps or dpm (needs verification)

Notes:

• A Shadow Walker’s role in late game is to sneak past enemy’s front line and take down the ranged classes, or to kill the separated players that wander around too far from the battle.
• Buffs can be cast in Stealth mode
• Can kill a marked target very easily (if target has not-so-high HP) with evasion buff. The buffs combined together gives around 70%+ physical evasion and 40% force evasion. Get in the fight and no one can hit you but be quick, do what you want before the buff runs out because you’ll die in 2 seconds once you run out of buffs

Punisher Video

Pros:

• Glass Cannon (Highest damage)
• Shines late-game
• Good buff field
• Debuffs (slow, melee stun when melee characters get too close, single and AoE burning)
• Attack and critical buffs (Also a stealth skill, but it dispels when you move or attack. Increases Defense.)
• Skill that makes you immobilized, but greatly increases your attack, crit chance and crit damage.
• Some attacking skills have the biggest AoE range in game
• Escape skill

Cons:

• Average HP and Defense
• Mech has slow move speed
• No move speed buffs, slowest class
• Long casting times and animation

Notes:

• Becomes OP in late game, her burning skill can take down any class with HP less than 4,000 just from this skill only, so you need tons of HP to survive from an enemy Punisher
• Your role is to shoot anyone that comes in your sight (20m)
• AoE and Single burning don’t stack

Sentinel Video

Pros:

• Ranged single target killer
• Highest move speed
• Passive stealth detection
• Ranged and melee stun
• Single and AoE slow, Defense and Protection debuffs
• Move speed, critical, attack, evasion and defense buffs
• Straight-forward damage dealer
• Quick attacks, lightweight, nimble.
• Highest Elemental Attack damage

Cons:

• Average HP and Defense
• Worse damage late-game

Medic Video

Pros:

• 3rd highest HP and Defense
• Heal (single and AoE)
• Stealth detection
• Single buffs: Health, Defense, Evasion
• AoE buffs: Attack, Critical, Accuracy
• Ranged stun, AoE slow and ranged immobilize
• Mech dramatically increases attack and move speed (can 1/2 hit everyone)

Cons:

• Mech form doesn’t have debuffs/disable
• If you go for a healing/buff build, you lose a lot of damage (unless you’re in a mech) but you’ll be very hard to kill and sought after (for parties and to kill). If you go for a damage build, your heals and buffs will be a lot weaker.
• Lower damage than other classes
• Runs out of SP quickly

Notes:

• Since healing is based from % of target HP, every class must increase their Max Health as much as possible. It is recommended to find a party in Battlegrounds to gain shared Exp and to heal your teammates.
• You can use your healing skill while moving on foot
