Gameglobe Vehicle Control Guide

Gameglobe Vehicle Control Guide by Large

Many people ask, how they can make a vehicle move with WASD-buttons.
Here i’m writing a guide, how to build a controlable vehicle.
For example you can play this Level: Gunpowder Delivery

What do i need?
(Minimum Requirements)
1 Vehicle
3 Input Trigger
1 Directioal Mover
2 Rotator
1 Proximity Sensor
1 Start Point

How do i build the Vehicle?
First we start with placing a Vehicle. In front of the vehicle, we place a Directonal Mover and make the Arrow point forward. After placing the Directional Mover, we glue the Vehicle on it.
Next we place the first Input Trigger near the Directional Mover and connect that Mover with power cable to this Input Trigger.
Now we place 2 Rotators, one on the left and one on right side of the vehicle. To prevent a bug,we have to build the left Rotator upside down. (Rotators with negative number in speed move strange)
We glue and chain both Rotators with the Directional Mover. Now we place the other two Input Triggers. The first left and second on the right side of the vehicle. We connect the left Rotator to left Input Trigger and the right Rotator to the right Input Trigger via powercable.
Next we place and glue a Startpoint and a Proximity Sensor on the Vehicle.
Connect all Input Triggers with powercable to the Proximity Sensor.
After that, we config our Props.
Forward Input Trigger: Button Forward / Lock Player > Yes
Directional Mover: For this guide i’ll set the speed on 7. If you want your vehicle drive faster/slower change the number.
Left Input Trigger: Button Left / Lock Player > Yes
Left Rotator: For this guide i’ll set the speed on on +5. The speed off remains 0. If you want your vehicle turn faster/slower change the number.
Right Input Trigger: Button Right / Lock Player > Yes
Right Rotator: For this guide i’ll set the speed on on +5. The speed off remains 0. If you want your vehicle turn faster/slower change the number.
Proximity Sensor: Set it’s range that it covers your Startpoint. Contact Type > One Player. Action > Switch while Contact.

You should now be able to drive your vehicle!

If you want more extras, like a Game Over after collision, add some other directions to drive your vehicle or to take back control of your Character, there’s a bit more to do. It is fun to find out yourself!

Hint: You can glue Cameras on objects. This makes it possible to create a 3rd-person-view while riding a vehicle.
