One of the most repeated questions in chat has been: What is sharing and what does it do?

Today, I am going to let you know what is going on, and make you a master at it.

This is a typical Shoku map. The green outlined areas are Shoku owned, while the yellow outlined areas are Empire owned. Blue would correspond to Gi while red would correspond to Go.

The flags are the territories that you have shared. A better term for this might be “rent” because multiple people can share the same piece of land.

When you conquer a piece of land from another faction, that land goes straight to your empress. For Shoku, this will be Ryu(u)bi. That piece of land will then turn green (for Shoku).

Why is this important? Green flagged areas have to be all connected (to your base). I haven’t tested this yet to see whether all green flag areas have to be continuous, or just connected to a base of yours if you have multiple ones.

Discarding territories takes 2 hours to do so, but conquering a new area gives you a larger territory limit.

The more occupants for a square, the stronger the defense, and the smaller the resource rate gain.
