Hi everyone!

Today I will be introducing the units and how they stack up against each other.

As you can see, spearmen and archers are great builds in the early game, but they are about twice as slow as just using your warlord alone.

Since you don’t actually need that many troops to capture normal land (not including mini-castles), cavalry would actually be a strong selection as well.

Also, units that are matched up with the right matching general get a 50% boost in both attack and defense.

Someone asked me why engineers were so expensive.

This is because engineers are VERY effective against walls and bases.

Generals have 0% attack against walls and bases.
Other units have 1% attack against walls and .5% attack against bases.
Engineers have 10% attack against walls and 6.67% attack against bases.

Here’s an example (these units are all without general bonus):

A level 1 infantry would do .04 damage against a wall and .02 damage against a base.
A level 1 archer would do .12 damage against a wall and .06 damage against a base.
A level 1 spearman would do .2 damage against a wall and .1 damage against a base.
A level 1 cavalry would do .1 damage against a wall and .05 damage against a base.
A level 1 engineer would do .3 damage against a wall and .2 damage against a base.

A level 20 engineer would do 4.5 damage against a wall and 3 damage against a base.

EDIT:

The longer a mini-castle has been left alone, the harder it will be. Generally, mini-castles that just spawned will be around 1200-1500 defense with 2-5 generals. This quickly ramps up to 4-4.5k defense with over 10 generals.

Mini-castles drop coins based on a formula that I need to figure out, and generally give between 0 and 20, and vamping up depending on ___________, and has a chance to also drop an item.

It is possible to one hit a castle (if you get about three times its modified defense).
