The following is a price guide. Use it as a suggestion for the approximate value of a RotMG item in a trade. Please note however that there is no such thing as a “correct” price. Items do not have some sort of inherent price, and these prices aren’t determined by me or any other one person. Also remember that prices change, and can change very quickly.

Tips: Remember that if a trade sounds too good to be true, it is generally a scam, also if the person who you are trading with cancels the trade at ANY GIVEN TIME, then proceeds to re-trade you afterward, always double check the item being selected! Most of the time he/she will switch out the item when he/she cancels the trade, be extremely careful of this!

Pots are used as the currency of RotMG, with defense pots as the base unit. Most of the items in this guide will be priced by def pots.

Tier 0-8 weapons, tier 0-3 abilities, tier 1-9 armors and tier 1-3 hp/def rings or tier 1-4 (any other type) rings are worthless and difficult if not impossible to sell except perhaps for each other.

Tier 9 weapons and tier 10 armors will (if you are lucky) go for a ‘rainbow pot’ each, where a ‘rainbow pot’ refers to a very cheap pot.

Tier 10 weapons/tier 11 armors (occasionally bought for pet food at the price of a rainbow price, although rarely)

    treasures don’t sell for nearly as much… maybe several def max for the higher FP ones, but no way they go for life.
    lots of the skin prices are still pretty sketchy
    tarot cards aren’t worth anything anymore. maybe feed for common pets, but thats it. people literally just drop them on the ground
    i’ve hardly seen anyone successfully sell pet eggs. personally, i would never buy a pet egg for spd. i need to clear out my pet yard, not add more crap in.
    need to fix unbound ring prices…
    dex pots are worthless xD. just run a damn sprite world. maybe 4 dex = 1 def?

    Whoops accidentally sumbitted, anyway, Magician is 1 – 4 def, Fool is 1 – 2 Def, Devil, Death and Sun are 1 def – 1 life.

    Att is 1 – 1.5 def, Masamune is 3 def – 1 mana, Sky is 1 mana – 1 life, Covert is 3 def – 1 mana, BBow is actually closer to 1 def now, Storms is NOT 1 Life because there is no demand at all so it’s more like 3 – 5 def or 1 mana, Abby is 3 def – 1 mana, Para HP is now 1 – 2 Def or 1 att because demand increased AND people don’t sell it very much, Exa Def is a solid 1 mana, Exa HP is a Life(a kind soul might sell it to you for a mana), UBHP is now 3 – 5 life probs because of duping and all other UB rings are 2 – 3 life except Def and Att which are 3 – 4 life, the Tarot cards are all wrong except World, Chariot and Moon, for the other ones there is a huge variety, Devil is an

    Tarots are worth a SHIT ton. Usually people sell them for life pots. Sky does go for life, but for some reason more and more people are staring to sell it for mana. I don’t know about the platinum knight skin, but gentlemen skin wasn’t worth 40 life. IT WAS WORTH MORE.

    This price guide is proper outdated. Tarots are worth jack. Sky goes for life. Platinum knight is like 10 life. And there was is no fucking skin worth 40 life. Sort this shut out

    the only problem with this is that ubhp was put so lowly in price, ubwis was worth more. In my opinion all the ub rings should be around 1 life and ubdef should be around 3 life and ubhp should be 5-8 life

    And check the offers section of realmeye and try to find a good price, usually the price is equal or just under the price that the people sell it for.
