Hey all, I just started playing this game a few hours ago thanks to a friend who invited me to play.

I was playing for awhile before I noticed that you could spam-gift the same friend/ally a large if not infinitive amount of times, (unfortunately I didn’t look in the forum quick enough and found out the hard way about the maximum gift limit). So, I decided to help both current and future players maximize the most out of their Gold Bars and gifting.

Please keep in mind that I’m only a newbie Level 9 Player and so any advice/opinions/disagreements from Pros would be appreciated/understandable if they were in a nice and proper manner. >.<

“I used to think shield points were the best gift too. They helped a lot in the early levels, but once I hit 50-60 they just started piling up. (I now have 300+ and rarely use ’em) I suggest you start bouncing energy points off of each other in the free gift tennis match once you hit the 40’s.

As for gold, consider saving it for shop items. Quantum Jumper, Heroic Call and Chrono Overdrive are just sick. If you’re trading for command points, wait til you get a 1 gold to 4 command point rate, otherwise it ain’t worth it.

The most consistent way to get Command points (Besides 5 star rewards) is farming; use a multi-hit weapon (the Batstone works GREAT here) and you’ll get 1-2 items every battle and if you’re lucky, some of those items will be command points or large ISO.”

Gold Bars

The most useful thing I can think of for trading Gold Bars with, is Command Points as they are used to unlock new Heros. Considering that they are mostly only attainable via a random reward at the end of boss battles, they’re one of the hardest things to get at the moment.

Ally Gifting
For gifts I have to recommend to only give each other S.H.I.E.L.D. Points. Reason being is that currently, most equipment in the shop, research as well as level ups for your team-mates require you to have these points (which are quite hard to come by).

Note : Another way to get SHIELD Points is through the Facebook Share Bonuses.

Edit : Maximum Number of Gifts able to be received : 53 or so.

You may be tempted to ask for Restoration Packs and Frag Grenades around the lower levels but trust me, after upgrading yourself and your team a bit, you’ll usually not need these items. They also only sell for 10 Silver a piece and so not really worth it.

The amount of energy given per gift makes it an unwise choice as well, as it takes 5 gifts for 10 Energy for 1 Battle.

If you’re short of money for all the leveling up / equipment and researching, you could consider asking for some Healthy Iso-8 Silver to sell as I think you could possibly sell them for something better than 10 Silver. (Uncertain) If not, you could also ask them at the lower levels so as to get quick access to Iso-Equips.

Edit : The Healthy Isos sell for 110 Silver..since it’s barely anything, I do consider you to just farm from Flight Deck Recons.

Apart from all that, the only thing left to talk about is Energy and Silver. If you have a lot of time then you can of course farm Silver from the Flight Deck at 3 minute-Recons or you can set them in accordance to your schedule.

You get 1 Energy every 6 minutes or so, 10 Energy is required per battle and thus, you’d be able to engage in a battle every hour, and if your maximum Energy is 60, you can come back every 6 hours or so to play with full energy. So, you can also put your Flight Deck Recons at 6 hours each to be aligned with the time taken for Maximum Energy.
