1st City – City View
>>City View
The City tab in Thirst of Night is where you can construct and upgrade buildings to house your citizens, increase the strength of your Gargoyle, and train your troops among other functions. Each building has its own set of requirements or resources needed for its construction, so make sure to view this information before building!
>>The City Buildings you can construct and upgrade are:
Downtown
• Requirements: Starts at Level 1 Within your city
• Details: The “Downtown” is the heart of every empire in Thirst of Night, and is perhaps the most important to upgrade first. Upgrading your downtown increases the amount of resource plots a player can build on in their resource fields, increases the amount of Wilds you can occupy, and also determines the amount of defending armies you can host from your allies. You can also view your hourly resource production rates within this structure as well, and you can also adjust your tax rate here as well.
Research Center
• Requirements: Starts at Level 1 Within your city
• Details: Your Research Center is your scientific stronghold where you can achieve more and more technological breakthroughs that will help strengthen your military might and resource production. Upgrading this building will unlock more powerful bonuses.
Gargoyle Perch
• Requirements: Starts at Level 1 Within your city
• Details: View the Gargoyles section below for more details
Walls
• Requirements: Starts at Level 1 Within your city
• Details: Walls are your first line of defense within your city. Upgrading your walls increases their defensive strength. You can also set whether you want to your troops to defend your resources or hide from incoming attacks on your wall.
Assembly Point
• Requirements: Starts at Level 1 Within your city
• Details: The Assembly Point serves as your Military center, allowing you to send marches outward, view where any of your troops are deployed, and also will allow you to send Flickerforms out to spy. The higher you upgrade this structure; the amount of marches that can be sent from your base will increase, as well as the maximum amount of troops that can be sent within each march.
General’s Crypt
• Requirements: Starts at Level 1 Within your city
• Details: The structure houses your commanding Generals, allowing you to view existing and appoint new ones. Upgrading this structure will unlock more Generals
Bell Tower
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Bell Tower is designed to facilitate the breeding and training of Bat Troops.
Warehouse
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Warehouse is designed to house and protect your resources from enemy raids. The higher you upgrade your warehouse, the more resources will be protected from attack.
Furnace
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Furnace is required to research Twilight Warfare and to awaken the powerful Nosferatu!
Arsenal
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Arsenal is required to manufacture armor and advanced weapons systems.
Watchtower
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Watchtower is crucial to your defense system as it alerts you of incoming attacks.
Nightclub
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Nightclub increases your city’s morale level and holds various events.
Home
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: Homes provide a safe haven for vampires. Upgrading them increases your population.
Barracks
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Barracks is where you will train and house your troops.
Countdown Chest
• Details: Every new city comes with its own “Countdown Chest” which will provide newer players with rewards to help them get started within the Thirst of Night World. These rewards can include speed up cycles, resources, or even some combat boosting items. Every time you claim your rewards a cooldown period will follow. This chest is designed with new and low level players in mind, and once your downtown reaches level 4 this chest will vanish and you will no longer receive any rewards.
1st City – Resource Field View

When building up your Cities, you will need various resources in order to progress and protect your citizens. While your city house your military might, your resource view provides the fuel.
Here is a list of the different buildings you can construct within your resource fields:
Blood Lab
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: The Blood Lab produces the resource “Blood”, which is required for various constructions, research, troop training, and also as upkeep for your trained troops. Make sure that you are producing more blood then your troops are consuming to avoid any shortages!
Concrete Plant
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: Concrete Plant produces Concrete (what else?), which is used in many building constructions, upgrades, research, and troop training.
Steelworks
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: A Steelworks will produce Steel for your empire, necessary for building constructions, upgrades, research, and troop training.
Crystal Pit
• Requirements: Unlocked at Level 1
• Details: Crystal Pits extract precious crystals from the Earth, which can then be used for building constructions, upgrades, research, and troop training.
Map View

While building up your forces and fortifying your city is important, don’t forsake exploring the outside world. Here you can conquer various wilds that will boost your resource production, loot resources from renegade Redbloods, and even take the fight to Commander Shank bases for some great loot.
Here are the various Wild Spaces:
Lake
• Details: Conquering and controlling Lakes will provide a boost to your Blood Production. The % boost is determined by the level of wild.
Prairie
• Details: Conquering and controlling Prairies will also provide a boost to your Blood Production. The % boost is determined by the level of wild.
Chasm
• Details: Conquering and controlling a Chasm will provide a boost to your Crystal Production. The % boost is determined by the level of wild.
Hill
• Details: Conquering and controlling a Hill will provide a boost to your Concrete Production. The % boost is determined by the level of wild.
Mountain
• Details: Conquering and controlling a Mountain will provide a boost to your Steel Production. The % boost is determined by the level of wild.
Wasteland
• Details: Wastelands are required to conquer in order to expand your Empire and construct more cities and outposts.
Redblood Camps
• Details: Redblood Camps are strongholds of Human Barbarians. Each camp contains stacks of resources, but you must defeat the forces inside to retrieve them! As camp levels increase the amount of enemies will as well, so make sure to scout ahead of time to make sure you can send the right amount of troops for the job.
Commander Shank Bases
• Details: Commander Shank has many bunker bases scattered amongst the charred countryside full of mercenaries ready to strike out on unsuspecting cities. These bases are the target of a quest-line, providing many great rewards for defeating these bandits. Level 10 Shank bases also house a Purpleblood Pup, who can one day grow into a mighty Gargoyle and protect your first outpost! The amount of enemies will increase as base levels do, so make sure to scout before attacking to know what you are up against!

Looking to increase your influence and exact some revenge on your enemies? Here are the Military Units you will use to carry out your will! Each has its own requirements, strengths, and weaknesses, so make sure to take advantage of each unit at your disposal.

Gargoyles

Remnants of a long terminated Science endeavor code named “Project City Defenders” from the 1950s, Gargoyles are not only the Guardians of your cities and outposts, but are also a very strong Offensive unit. Various requirements must be met to fully power up and equip your Gargoyle, but it is well worth the time and effort in order to unlock this powerful ally!

• Where it’s found: Can be looted from Level 10 Commander Shank Base
• What city/outpost it protects: 1st Outpost

1st Outpost – City View
Outposts allow a player to expand their nation and influence within the Thirst of Night World. While other games may just offer carbon copy layouts, outposts serve a different purpose and have unique buildings and Gargoyles.

As outlinedHERE in our previous Gargoyle section, this item is needed in order to expand and begin construction of your 1st Outpost.
Outpost Home
• Requirements: Unlocked with your Outpost
• Details: Outpost Homes provide a safe haven for vampires. Upgrading them increases your population.
Outpost Barracks
• Requirements: Unlocked with your Outpost
• Details: Outpost Barracks are where you will train and house your troops.
Outpost Depot
• Requirements: Unlocked with your Outpost
• Details: Depots house the resources collected by your outpost, which need to be collected by the player.
• Collection Details: When resources are collected from your depots, they will be funneled back into your main city. You can collect them manually, or use a 1 day or 1 week drone which will do it automatically for a period of time.
Outpost Assembly Point
• Requirements: Unlocked with your Outpost
• Details: Allows your Outpost to host defensive armies. The higher the level, the more armies that can be housed at one time.
