Red Stone Demon Builds Guide

Red Stone Demon Builds Guide by willyb19

Different demon builds have different requirements and some the same. This guide will tell you what to do for an Uber demon! I have been called “Pro Demon” While I agree with that, I don’t believe I’m “the best”. Let your opinions be known if you have any. If you have a build of your own and are willing to post it, make your own topic. :P Thank you! well let’s get started, shall we?

For every demon you make be sure to get your Power stat to 100, until around level 190+ at least. Then add 50~100 more to your Power for higher level and better gear (such as DX gear). I don’t say “t set” because I’m not a fan of the Demon t sets. According to some people “If you don’t have a t set, your character is fail.” I have actually seen people say that, it’s SO not true. But if you like, go for the t sets, I’m not gonna tell you what to do but I highly suggest you don’t get it.

*Underlined marks as preferable.*Get your Alacrity stat to 101 and no higher, except for the builds that use SM.*Get Bind Blaze for every build. But only after your completed the build steps as it is a huge CP eater and (for Demons) CP is important!
* If you wish it, boost Mortal Cloud/Poison Gas/Deadly Nightmare/Arachnophobia (Arachnophobia use is best if your targets are stuck in a trap and/or crowded around you) to your preferred level.

Worm Bite/SM:This build is a defensive build.
(party or solo)
2 knowledge, 2 health, 1 charisma
until charisma = 50~100
then 3 knowledge, 2 health
Boost required stats for your choice cross.
Do not add to Alacrity, SM will increase it as you are being hit.
Get HP+ and/or DP+ gear.

Skills to get (in order):-1 Area of Effect Skill (Mortal Cloud, Poison Gas, Deadly Nightmare, Arachnophobia)
-Draw Body or Whip
-Worm Bite
-SM

Step 1: Get your AoE skill (whichever you chose) to level 1
Step 2: Get Draw Body or Whip (whichever you chose) to level 25~30
Step 3: Get Worm Bite to level 20
Step 4: Get SM to level 50 (it will gain 5 CP/activation)
Step 5: Finish maxing Worm Bite
Step 6: Finish maxing Draw Body or Whip (it will gain CP/successful attack)

Strategy:In a Party?
When your luring be sure you have Worm Bite turned off so it doesn’t activate and make luring difficult, turn it back on when the lure is complete. If you forgot to turn Worm Bite off and it activates, use Draw Body to pull the lure along. Try hard to get the mobs attention to focus and STAY on you with your AoE Skill which is better achieved with Bind Blaze (when you finally have it) and a Fire strengthen/weaken cross. You will grow stronger with SM as it buffs you (may seem like you are dying when you are actually growing stronger) until Worm Bite kicks in then use your AoE skill again too heighten your damage dealing potential.

Soloing?
Luring is the same as when you’re in a party. Once your satisfied with your ‘entourage’ size take them to a place where they don’t spawn and turn Worm Bite back on (assuming you turned it off to lure, otherwise use Draw Body to pull them along or fight them on the spot) then use your AoE Skill and wait for your Worm Bite to activate, use potions if SM’s buff is making you edgy – but don’t use too many at once!

Worm Bite/Bloody Cross:This is a defensive build.
(party or solo)2 knowledge, 1 health, 2 charisma
until charisma = 100~150
then 2 knowledge, 3 health or 3 knowledge, 2 health
Boost required stats for your choice cross
Get HP+ or DP+ gear.

Skills to get (in order):1 Area of Effect Skill (Mortal Cloud, Poison Gas, Deadly Nightmare, Arachnophobia)
-Draw Body or Whip
-Worm Bite
-Bloody Cross

Step 1: Get your AoE skill (whichever you chose) to level 1
Step 2: Get Draw Body or Whip (whichever you chose) to level 25~30
Step 3: Get Worm Bite to level 20
Step 4: Get Bloody Cross to level 20
Step 5: Finish maxing Worm Bite
Step 6: Finish maxing Draw Body or Whip
Step 7: Finish maxing Bloody Cross

Strategy:In a Party?
Try to get someone to lure for you so you can preserve CP for your skills because your gonna need it to stay alive and trap the mobs as you are dealing your damage to them. If you wish to lure for your party, turn off Worm Bite and walk (by pressing Z) so you don’t waste your CP running, leaving Bloody Cross on so you can stay healthy, you may need to use a charging potions a few times.

Soloing?
When your luring, walk, don’t run. Or you can stand still and pull them to you with Draw Body. If you try to lure, turn off Worm Bite not Bloody Cross that way you get healed as you lure, once you get the mob the size you want, turn on Worm Bite then use your AoE Skill to enfeeble them for your worm enjoy to some fast food.

Strategy:
In a Party?
You should use this build for party purposes only. This build will let you lure invincibly with no need to turn any skills off. You can either walk or run, once the lure is complete use your AoE Skill to weaken the mob so your party members can pick the enemies off one by one while you keep the aggression on you to stay healed and healthy! NOTE: Using Deadly Nightmare then casting another AoE Skill on top of it will cancel out Deadly Nightmare’s sleep effect and effectively end it’s damage.

Soloing?
Try your best to kill the mobs you lure. Deadly Nightmare/Mortal Cloud and Smell of Death should help with that.
(Deadly Nightmare) If you manage to get all enemies to sleep using Deadly Nightmare take them out one-by-one with Whip(has a chance of hitting with a Crush, Critical or Double Critical as it progresses in levels) after pulling them aside with Draw Body, don’t stand too close to the horde because the have to wake up eventually if Deadly Nightmare doesn’t kill them.
(Mortal Cloud) If the whole horde is poisoned and/or dies, you got lucky. If not, when you cast Mortal Cloud and the mob is poisoned keep your finger on your potions hot keys (the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 keys above the Q, W, E, R and T keys) as you may need to use healing potions if Bloody Cross is being, well, cross or you may need to use the charging potions if Bloody Cross is being good, too good. Hang in there and lash them with your whip until they die. If your dying, go down putting up a HUGE fight!
(Poison Gas) Use Poison Gas as much as you can, but not too much or you won’t be able to see your HP and will most likely lag and that’s no good with this build. So with the mob being weakened, lash away and the target maybe even use Charming (required for Bloody Cross) to turn some of them on each other.
(Arachnophobia) This AoE Skill is best (despite the long cool down time) to use for this build since it does lots of damage and halts enemy movement, so while the enemies are whacking away at you, use it while Bloody Cross keep you going (will need a lot of charging potions).

Contract Demon:
This is a versatile build.
(party or solo)
2 knowledge, 2 health, 1 charisma
until charisma = 150+
then 3 knowledge, 2 healthBoost required stats for your choice cross

Strategy:
In a Party?
This build is best for Guild Wars (Siege War and Guild vs Guild). If your in a party outside of a Guild War, chances are your party will only like you as a Necromancer, unfortunately I have more knowledge about Demons than I do about Necromancers. So I’ll give a strategy for how to work your character in a Guild War. Start as a Demon with Requiem and Deep Sorrow on as your active skills, while Deep Sorrow slows down their movement and attack speed continuously and Requiem prevents the Priest from healing or reviving his team, your team can pick them off with ease. If some of them are attacking you quickly turn off Deep Sorrow and turn on Hell’s Prison in it’s place to trap them and do a quick shift back to Deep Sorrow until they break their cage and repeat. Don’t forget to use your contract skills as well as Bind Blaze either, to weaken or kill them.

Soloing.?
Lure the mob to you and debuff them then transform back into a Demon and trap them in Hells Prison then switch Deep Sorrow on in it’s place while Requiem will stop their healing you can throw Poison Gas/Mortal Cloud on them with the full force of the contract skills then with Bind Blaze’s help they should fold under the brutality.

Power Demon
This is a Purely offensive build.(party or solo)
2 power, 1 Alacrity, 1 health, 1 charisma
until charisma = 100+
then 2 power, 2 alacrity, 1 healthBoost required stats for your choice cross.
Get DP+, Damage+, Attack Speed + and HP+ gear.

Skills to get (in order):1 Area of Effect Skill (Mortal Cloud, Poison Gas, Deadly Nightmare, Arachnophobia)
-Draw Body or Whip
-Deep Sorrow or SM
-Black Blues
-Requiem
-Contract
-Blood Compact
-Soul Oath
-Blood Drain (Necromancer)
-Debuffs (Necromancer)

Step 1: Get your AoE skill (Whichever you chose) to level 1 (Deadly Nightmare to required level for Requiem)
Step 2: Get Draw Body or Whip (Whichever you chose) to level 30
Step 3: Max Deep Sorrow or SM (Whichever you chose)
Step 4: Get Requiem to level 10~20
Step 5: Max Draw Body or Whip
Step 6: Max Black Blues
Step 7: Get Requiem to level 20~30 (depending on the level you got it to previously)
Step 8: Max Soul Oath
Step 9: Get Blood Compact to level 20
Step 10: Get Blood Drain to level 20
Step 11: Max Blood Compact
Step 12: Get the Debuffs (Lower Accuracy/Might/Resistance/Level) to level 20~30 (each)
Step 13: Max Blood Drain
Step 14: Max the Debuffs (all at once or one at a time)

Strategy:In a Party?
If you chose Deep Sorrow rather than SM then it may be a bit difficult to lure since Deep Sorrow keeps the enemy slowed down, so walk to lure. If you chose SM then you won’t need to walk. Once you get the lure to where your party mates can attack them, use your AoE skill (preferable Deadly Nightmare to ease the attacks on you by putting mobs to sleep, inform your party to not use AoE attacks if you chose this Deadly Nightmare) then lash at your enemies until they succumb to you and your party.

Soloing?
This build is fun when you’re soloing, with the skill combination it provides, you can do pretty well on your own and with a pet (if you decided to get one, which I suggest you do) if you need healing, use the contract skills (Contract -> Blood Compact -> Soul Oath) though you won’t need Soul Oath much since Requiem and Draw Body/Whip charges your CP as does SM (if you chose it)
