Hey i thought i should make a small guide to weapon crafting, it will be about the “hitting” weapons since ive never made a bow.

First u find out what u want to make, and from what materials

If u choose Swords:
U need the skills:
Weapon crafting –> Basic blade crafting –> advanced blade crafting and shortblade(take it the swords look wicked ) –> Great blade and side blade crafting
Handle and pole crafting –> 1h Blade Hilt crafting –> 2h blade hilt crafting
Now u can make all swords in game, that i know of.
(u can “maybe, put a blade head onto a stick handle, and it might be a sword, but i aint sure)
Lore’s u need:
Materiel lore –> Dendrology –> then u need all the wood lore’s u want to work with, u don’t have to get advanced Dendrology, but if u really want to use ironwood and blackwood u can.

U also going to need metalurgy –> Basic metals if u want cupprum and pig iron, cupprum is alright, but u kinda want steel later so u can save this one if u only want to make steel stuff.
In metalurgy u should also get Iron-based alloys so u can use grain steel (not needed so much), steel (this is pretty nice and not so expensive) and TUNGSTEEL!!(best stuff atm but too expensive to skill up on ur own, unless ur rich as fuck).

when u got all those for swords, what u start doing is getting ur wood lores up and ur crafting lores up at the same time, when u craft stuff(i prefer this cause u can do it for free, if u farm ur own wood ). u can also get your metal lore’s up if u have the metals available(this is smartest and is also fastest since u can get like 3 lore’s up at a time , but can be rather tricky if u cant get metal enough!!)

what u do when u got all those skills: u start crafting the fuck out of yourself, it might be smart to use recipes, but test abit and see if its faster, cause your just going to make the same shit a 1000 times to get max skill

If u chooses Axe Crafting:

Weapon crafting –> Basic blade crafting –> axe crafting –> axe head crafting and poleaxe crafting.
Weapon crafting –> Blunt weapon crafting–> axe crafting –> axe head crafting and poleaxe crafting. ( u need both blunt and basic to make axes, crazy 200 points xD )

Handle and pole crafting –>1h shaft and club crafting –> 2h shaft and staff crafting

Lore’s are the same as in the sword part.

If u chooses Spear crafting:

Weapon crafting –> Basic blade crafting –> Spearhead crafting.
( i know that u can put a dagger tip on a stick and its a spear, and counts as a spear, but i think they are fake and gay, so no!! might as well put a great blade on a stick and say this is a spear! xD(so u can put some sword and dagger tips on the handle but it might counts as a poleaxe/polearm))

Handle and pole crafting –>1h shaft and club crafting –> 2h shaft and staff crafting

Lore’s: the same as with the sword stuff.

if u want to make daggers:
Weapon crafting –> Basic blade crafting –>dagger blade crafting
Handle and pole crafting –> 1h Blade Hilt crafting

Same lore’s as all the other shite.

If u want to make clubbas:

u get another hobby xD

Anyhow:
Skills
Weapon crafting –> Blunt weapon crafting–> Blunt head crafting and spiked head crafting
Handle and pole crafting –>1h shaft and club crafting –> 2h shaft and staff crafting

MAGICALLY U NEED THE SAME BLOODY LORES!!

Anyhow, u start with farming materials and then u goto the crafting area with ur stuff.

At the crafting bench u click “r” and there pops up a thingy box where there is 3 boxes, the 2 top ones are handles. left one is core and right one is coating.

core:
i normally put some heavier “materiel” into it, this give my weapon a good durability, but it also makes it heavier and more slow.( if u want light weapon and fast put light materiel into it, something like sponge wood)

Coating: the outer part of the handle i believe, here i normally put a light materiel into it so i keep the weapon light, but if u just wants durability fill it up with steel or ironwood and stuff like that.

The bottom box is the “blade” box or the box for the head or whatever yee wishes to call it. here u just insert your heaviest materiel and u get win, if your materiel is good.
