NB: These solutions have been taken from developer responses and other forum users.

Issue #1: MISSING APB:RELOADED CDKEY (BONUS PREMIUM PACK)

EDIT: This issue has been resolved. Your key should show up: Right Click APB:Reloaded –> CD Key.

If your key does not appear in the “View CD-Keys” section of the right click menu, you may search the Windows Registry for it. The Registry should only be used by advanced users, and I take no responsibility for potential damage caused to your system. Follow these steps:

1. Click Start –> Run/Search –> Type “regedit.exe”
2. On the left hand navigation bar, double click on “HKEY_USERS” folder.
3. Begin a search by pressing CTRL+F.
4. Tick “Values” in the Look At section and nothing else, and type “SteamKey” into the search field.
5. The relevant key can be found in one of the “TestApp” folders.
6. If there are multiple such folders, the key for APB:R is 16 characters long with no spaces or dashes.

I redeemed my code through this method. However, my code was distributed prior to this issue arising, and I cannot guarantee this will work for you.

Issue #2: KICKED FOR PUNKBUSTER VIOLATION (“pbcl”)

Most common solution is to download “pbsetup.exe” from Evenbalance (http://evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php). Unzip contents to a new folder and “Add” APB:Reloaded to the update list. Then click “Update” and let it do its work. Quit the program and start-up APB:Reloaded.

Issue #3: INVISIBLE CHARACTER MODELS / GLOWING CHARACTERS

This is a well-known glitch for multi-GPU setups (nVidia SLI/AMD Crossfire). Simply disable SLI/Crossfire in your GPU Control panel and restart the game. This is a Driver related issue and cannot be resolved by the APB:Reloaded development team.

Issue #4: CRASH ON GAME START (ERROR 0x********)

Problem to be resolved in the next patch. Temporary work-around by manually starting the APB-Reloaded executable from your installation folder (e.g. C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonapb reloadedlauncherAPBLauncher.exe)

Issue #5: STEAM LOGIN ERROR AT MAIN MENU

This is a known issue and will be resolved in an upcoming patch. In the mean time the developers advise the following temporary bypass. Exit Steam and launch APB:Reloaded manually from your installation directory (e.g. Program Files(x86)Steamsteamappscommonapb reloadedAPBGameLauncher)

Issue #6: STACK OVERFLOW (APBGame.cHostingPlayerController:Receive_DS2GC_AN S _DISTR…)

This is a known issue and will be resolved in an upcoming patch. In the mean time the developers advise the following temporary bypass. Exit Steam and launch APB:Reloaded manually from your installation directory (e.g. Program Files(x86)Steamsteamappscommonapb reloadedAPBGameLauncher)

Issue #7: NO STEAM OVERLAY

Try restarting APB: Reloaded with the In-game Steam Overlay enabled in the game properties (right-click APB: Reloaded in your Library list).
