This Tutorial will allow you to use your PS3 remote to control Minecraft

Step 1:
Download
Windows: Motionjoy http://www.motioninjoy.com/download
Linux: http://qtsixa.sourceforge.net/ (not tutorialised)

Step 2:
Install the program

Step 3:
You will be greeted with a screen like this

Step 4:
connect your PS3 remote to your computer with a usb cable it should recognize the remote in the program like so

Step 5:
Go to the page marked Driver Manager, then select the option Install all it will come up with alot of writing what you don’t need to worry about

Step 6:
Click Profiles to return to the starting screen, next to the final option named Custom there is a button that says create you will be taken to a screen like this

Step 7:
Bind whatever keys you use in Minecraft to whichever buttons on the controller you wish
my current setup is as follows:

Circle Mouse axis Wheel down
Cross Keystrokes Space
Square Mouse axis Wheel Up

L1 Mouse Button Right Button
R1 Mouse Button Left Button

R2 Keystrokes F11

Select NONE NONE
L3 NONE NONE
R3 NONE NONE
Start Keystrokes E
PS Keystrokes Escape

Dpad (skipped all NONE NONE)

LStick UP,DOWN,RIGHT,LEFT Keystrokes W,S,D,A
RStick UP,DOWN,RIGHT,LEFT Mouse Axis UP,RIGHT,DOWN,LEFT
