Since almost no one has done this before i have decided to make your merchanting skills a little better with this more than short guide. I do know allot of things about merchanting (for coelliss) i don`t know for lapis coz i havent had experience with merchanting there…

SECTION 1.X WHAT YOU GOTTA KNOW

1.1-WHAT IS MERCHANTING

Well, there are different types of merchanting which some might call not even merchanting at all, but the basics of merchanting is to buy an item for a lower price and selling it for a higher price.
I wanna act this out:

1.2-TYPES OF MERCHANTING

The types of merchanting there are is CM and MM, what are those you ask? CM= COMBINE MERCHANTING
MM= MARKET MERCHANTING. CM is collecting lots of money before doing this then merchanting rare combine items. and MM is the common kind of merchanting that you use just to build up your cash with common
items (act of grace, polymorph, relics, ect.)…There are tons of more kinds of merchanting tecniques that are more risky, and that could get you broke such as: pot merchanting, GW (growth weapon) merchanting, ect.

1.3-CHARACTER NEEDED

While the character you need is going to merchant stuff he can also be your selling character, so make him a savage, i`m not an expert on savages so i designed my own little merchant savage guide,
(almost like a support savage):
Max weight, and do 4:0 stamina until he has over 3000 weight then you can stop and do whatever the hell you want to him…(he will need to carry allot so he needs ALLOT of weight).

1.4-WHAT TO DO C.M.

Basically what you wanna do in CM is collect about 20m and buy shades or vepress with the money then sell it for more than you bought it for (but make sure some one is selling it cheap like a shade selling 5mil, buy it and sell for 6.5m).

1.5-WHAT TO DO MM

Basically what you wanna do in MM is find low stuff selling cheap such as artifacts, relics, scrolls, stones, ect. then sell it to gain cash obviously not allot of cash, but if you do this many times you can get more money…

1.6-COMMON MISTAKES

The mistake that most people do is buy it for the maximum price then sell it for a “over the top” price lets act this one out too:

Q: Selling esd 1.3m!!!! =)
Z: *buys esd*
Z: Selling esd 1.5m!!!!!! =)
X: not buying that one… 0_0
Z: *no one buys after 2 days* =/
Z: oh no i`m broke and what am i goin to do with this esd? =(

so you don`t wanna end up like “Z”…

There is another mistake, that occurs to people who are impatient people buy things in attempt to merchant them then when no one buys they reduce the price until it`s incredibly low then they don`t get profit…Be patient, if no one buys keep trying to sell it until you get the profit…

1.7-INVESTMENT

This is another type of merchanting that doesnt seem as merchanting at all but at the same time has more
profit than allot of other kinds of merchanting types. What you do is collect about 3mil then use the 3mil to collect material and a craftstone for a shade ring (you can do this with other combine items, but the shade ring is the easiest), then sell this for a high price to get a profit (7m for a shade ring).

SECTION 2.X FAQ (formally asked questions)

1-Q:Can i use another character besides a savage for my merchant?
A:The only other character you could use as your merchant would be a buffer, but it wouldnt be as
effective as a savage.

2-Q:When should i leave my merchant to sell stuff at his shop?
A:Well, mostly you should make him open at school time, times when you go out somewhere,
at night while you sleep, but relatively anytime you`re comfortable with.

3-Q:What kind of names should i put up for my shop?
A:try names that appeal to the people such as “awesome shop for awesome ppl” or “cool stuff, check it”

3.U-UNMENTION

The reason i can`t mention castle pan or hidden village is because on these servers i have never visited them, on the korean servers in castle pan and hidden village you could set up shops and even if i knew correctly and everything castle pan and hidden village were arranged differenly there. Also i`m not mentioning K-town coz it aint a town at all without a bank.

3.1-MERCHANTING LOCATIONS

The places where merchants gather up to sell specific stuff is what i`ll be addresing as (M.L.), these locations are going to be set for you so that the merchants know where to sell the stuff they have quickest, and if you are prepared to be sell specific items and/or using these locations i recommend a shop name such as: esd/esc/mats/torr/glass/relix (as an example if you were selling those things).

3.2-(M.L.) SITIS TERRA

If you would like to set up a shop in sitis terra to sell some of this then here are the locations

GW-beside small statue across from picnic tables

STONES-inside the town square and on right side of teleport circle looking from the south

RELICS-on the path from telecircle to town square looking from the north

ARMORS-Inside town square

DIVINES-right side of town square looking from the north

COMBINES-right side of path from telecircle to town square looking from the north

OTHERS-Picnic tables, entrance of big statue room, on path from telecircle to pot shop looking from the
west.

3.3-(M.L.) UNOS

Unos isn`t the place where you`d find lots of people around, but if you really wanna sell stuff there
then i`de sugest you`d do it near the bank, pot shop, or weapon shop (obvious reasons) restocking,
getting stuff, repairing…

3.4-(M.L.) CRONOUS CASTLE

Cronous castle isn`t the place you`d want to sell stuff like GW, or esd, it`s the kind of place where
you`d want to sell stuff like GW, stones, or combines. It`s the kind of place where you`d want to sell
+6,+7,+8, or +9 weapons as noobs (no offence) will want to buy them in terms of having good weapons…
