I. What does enchanting do?
Enchanting increases a stat. Either HP, SP, Strength, Armor, Speed, or Jump. The amount of whatever stat you want depends on what level gem you have.

II. The Gems
Gems can be found here. (Circle in yellow)
Go to the shop, press next, then item.

All gems cost 80 astros.

Alternatively, gems can be found in boss mode boxes in either level 1 or 2.

Hp
This gem adds more HP to your character. If your character has 2880 HP, and add a +80 HP gem to it, it would be 2960.

Gem can reach levels:
1 – 40 HP
2 – 80 HP.
3 – 120
4 – 160
5 – 200
6 – 240
7 – 280
8 – 320
9 – 360
10 – 400

Sp

This gem increases the SP of your character. If your character has 160 SP and you add 40, then you have 200 SP.

Gems can reach level:
1 – 12 SP
2 – 24
3 – 36
4 – 48
5 – 60
6 – 72
7 – 84
8 – 96
9 – 108
10 – 120

Speed

This gem increases the Speed of your character. If your character has 27 speed and you add 2 speed to it, it would b 29.
Notes:
– Speed only affects how fast you run/walk, not the speed of your attacks.
– This gem can not go further than level 5.

This gem can reach levels:
1 – 1 SPD
2 – 2
3 – 3
4 – 4
5 – 5

Armor

This gem highers your defense. If you have 30 ARM and add +1, then you would have 31. You take less damage from attacks if you enchant this.
Example: If you were to take a hit with an attack that is 134, adding +1 defense would make it 133.

This gem could reach levels:
1 – 1 ARM
2 – 2
3 – 3
4 – 4
5 – 5
6 – 6
7 – 7
8 – 8
9 – 9
10 – 10

Strength

This gem highers your attack power. If you have 31 STR and would like to increase it with +3, it would be 34. This gem highers the strength of your attacks.
Example: If you were attacking your opponent with a 134 attack, adding +1 STR will make it 135.

10 – 10

Jump

This gem can make you jump higher. If you have 29 jump and would like to enchant +1, you would have 30 jump.
Notes:
This only affects the height of your jump, not the distance. If you are looking for distance, increase your speed.
– This gem cannot go past level 5.

III. Enchant Cards
All of these items help level your gem up. These are the enchant cards:

Lesser Enchant Card

This enchant card will help you level your gems from level 1 – 5.
Success rates (My estimation):
Level 1 going to 2: 80%
Level 2 going to 3: 60%
Level 3 going to 4: 40%
Level 4 going to 5: 20%

If one of your enchants fail, your gem will go back to level 1.

Fair Enchant Card

This enchant card will help you level your gems up from level 6 + 7.

Success Rates (My estimation):
Level 1 going to 2: 100%
Level 2 going to 3: 90%
Level 3 going to 4: 70%
Level 4 going to 5: 50%
Level 5 going to 6: 40%
Level 6 going to 7: 30%

If one of your enchants fail, you will go back to level 1.

Master Enchant Card

This enchant card will help you level your gem up to level 8 – 10.

Success Rates (My estimation):
Level 1 to 2: 100%
Level 2 to 3: 100%
Level 3 to 4: 100%
Level 4 to 5: 100%
Level 5 to 6: 90%
Level 6 to 7: 80%
Level 7 to 8: 50%
Level 8 to 9: ~30%
Level 9 to 10: Below 15%

If the enchant fails with this card, the level will drop by just 1. (So if you have a level 8 gem and fail, it is a level 7 gem.

There are also some packages for these items in the package section if you are looking to save a few astros or carats.

IV. Refinery
The refinery is located here. (Circled in yellow)

Once you press it, you will be directed here:

The boxes on the left part of the screen is where your Gems will be.
The boxes at the right part is where your enchant cards will be.

To enchant you press the desired gem and enchant card you wish to use, then press enchant.

A gem will pop up and either fix itself (enchant successful), or break apart (enchant failed).

V. Socketing your gem.
Notice in the refinery, there is a tab that says socket.
Once you press it, you will be directed here:

This is where you place your gems in your clothing.

What you have to do is:
– Press the piece of clothing you wish to put the gem in.
– Press the type of gem you want. They are color coded.
(Red – Strength)
(Black – Armor)
(Blue – Speed)
(Green – HP)
(Purple – SP)
(Orange – Jump)
– Then press the gem you wish to use.
– On the right, press INSERT on the top one.

What you should know:
Strength, Armor, and HP gems ONLY go in shirts.
Speed, Jump, and SP gems ONLY go in bottoms.
Any gem can be placed in gloves.

VI. Gems inside your clothing.
You are able to see which gem is in your clothes by hovering over the item you own.
It will look like this, but with a gem inside the ring.

Some clothes are special and have TWO sockets though, so you can put two different gems in there.

VII. Other information.
Here are some other stuff you might want to know about enchanting and stats.

– Gems can replace other gems at any time. Say you have a +2 STR gem in your shirt but you want to replace it with your new +5 STR gem, you can insert the +5 GEM and the +2 gem will be destroyed.

– Extraction Scroll
This item lets you remove a gem from your clothes WITHOUT destroying them.

– The LUC stat.
The luc stat is not on clothing so far, but on three tail items.
The LUC stat increases your chance of getting up to three extra boss mode boxes. Each stat is divisible by 10, so you will have no odd numbers in this.

+10 LUC = +1% chance of extra boxes in boss mode.
+100 LUC = +10% chance of extra boxes in boss mode.

– The CRI stat.
Yes, CRI is a stat on some clothing. It’s a pretty gnarly one, too.
CRI stats are all divisible by 10, so you will have no odd numbers in this.
What CRI does is increase chances on critical hits.
+10 CRI = +1 Percent chance of Critical hit.
+20 CRI = +2 percent chance of Critical hit.
And so on.

Critical does not have it’s own gem, so you cannot enchant this stat. This only comes from rare or limited clothes.

This is also noteworthy:A successful critical hit will deal 150% damage of your original hit. If you original do 100 damage, it would boost to 150 if dealt with a critical blow.

The Eye of Critical damage has +50 CRI (tested with Panda)
The MoonStone (or it’s new name) has +30 CRI (my estimation out of 1000 hits).
