Iris Online Tarot Card System Guide

What You’ll Need:
-Major Cards 0-21 (In Collection Book, see Step 4)
-Spreads of your choice (In Collection Book, see Step 4)
-Fairy Powder (Rare monster drops, and some quest rewards.)

1: You’ll want to find Tobias the Grand, right outside the portal to Terminus (north-west to be exact).

2: Talk to him, and find the button that says “Trade” in the bottom right corner. Clicking “View” will bring you to the same type of window you’ll see later, but it won’t give you a buff unless you have the specific spread he wants. The one perk to using this (1 time a day), is that you can get a little title above your name (or guild name), in the color you choose.

3: In the Store window, click the Tarot Card tab.

4: This is where you can see all of the Major Cards and Spreads that you will need. You will need 1 of each to fill your Collection Book, and to use a Tarot Card. They’re only 2,000 G each, so they aren’t that expensive for a one-time-buy each. All Major Cards or Spreads can also be found from monster drops.

*Spreads can be found by scrolling down in the Tarot Card tab.

5: Right click (or double click) each Major Card to add it to your Collection Book. Right click your spreads to open the Community Window. You need to drag the spreads into the bottom slots in order to put them in your book. Major Cards 0-21 and a Spread need to be in your collection book for you to go further.

6: Press “K” to go to your Skills window, and click on the “Community” tab.

Image

7: Under General, right click on the tent looking skill, called “Open your tarot card house”.

Image

8: Now you’ll be brought to the Tarot Divination window. You’ll see your Tarot Cards on the left, and your Spreads that you have on the right. Click the “View” button to go on further.

9: After clicking View, choose the Spread that you wish to get a random buff from. They’re listed if you hover over them, so know your spreads before you pick randomly. Pick 10 cards (they’ll be upside-down), or click the Random button to choose 10 cards that will be a part of your Tarot. Click Complete.

10: The next window will appear differently depending on what Spread you use. You’ll see some cards with nothing on them, and some cards with “+x, -x, *x, /x; x being a number, * = multiplication, / = division). You’ll also see arrows pointing Up or Down, and Left or Right on each card (starting at 1, and working to 10). This decides whether or not the card is flipped horizontally or vertically, which also depends on the stats the specific card gives to your Tarot Card.

Flip your cards until you hit the 10th card, (or you could have clicked “Open All”), and you will now see that the bar on the right is partially filled, with numbers filling the card number slots to the right of that. These numbers add up to be your total.

*Now, between here, and your buff that you receive is still a bit fuzzy to me. Once I figure out the correlation between the two, I’ll update this part. :)

Your random buff will now be active for the next 2 hours. You can see it in the list of buffs on your character, to the left of your mini map. The style of the buff depends on the specific buff.

*Note, the buff shown, and the style shown, are two different buffs.wondering how to use the spreads you see popping up everywhere? How about the Major Cards? :D Well, after this, you’ll know. (Lol.. Cheesy intro ftw) Before we get into this, I want to thank Yasuma (bobby5589) for helping me out. :)
