Shaiya Archer/Hunter Gear Guide

Shaiya Archer/Hunter Gear Guide by misterdude

EPISODE DISCLAIMER:

This guide was originally written when Episode 3 was out. I retired from actively playing the game before EP4 was released. However, I did stop back in after the initial release of EP4 in order to update the guide heavily. As such, it contains things up to that point but is incomplete beyond that. In other words, it doesn’t include anything from EP5 and beyond and it never will. It likely does not contain everything from later updates to EP4 either. This guide contains nearly every weapon for level 60 and below, however I believe there are probably a few from late EP4 that are missing.

I don’t play anymore and while my curiosity has me check back for a few days after a major episode release, I will never again update this portion of the guide. If the community deems that an updated version is necessary and wanted, someone else will have to be my successor because I’ve moved on from Shaiya, my friends, and I won’t be back.

INTRODUCTION:

This was originally part of Aes’s Archer Guide but due to several factors it was determined it should be its own guide.

Before we get to it I should introduce myself for those who don’t know. In the world of Shaiya I’m known as Aes (pronounced “ace”). My archer is on the Lailah server, a lvl 58 UM named Aes. I’ve played every class in the game and most of them to high level. While I know a lot about all aspects of the game and all classes, archer is where my true expertise is. I have about 2000 hours logged. I’ve reset my stats many times, done multiple tests, and spent billions in gold just to have a better understanding of how things work. So I’ve got quite a bit of experience when it comes to playing and testing stats both in PvP and PvE of all levels. I retired from Shaiya in Spring of 2009 and have no plans to return. I occasionally check this guide and update it.

INDEX:

The format is simple. I list all the archer gear first, followed by the hunter gear, followed by a section regarding choosing your weapon type. You can see a full color picture of all the archer items by clicking on the name of each item. The hunter section is a work in progress. I don’t know when or even if it will ever be as complete as the archer section. Those familiar with online guides recognize the indexing system below. You can use the Find feature of your browser (Ctrl + F) and type the letter code for the section you want to jump right to it.

ENCHANTMENT /RECREATION INFORMATION

There are a few things to understand about the gear enhancing system. The first thing to understand is that there are two ways to enhance your gear, enchantments and recreation. Enchantment means adding additional offensive to weapons and defense to armor. Recreation means to add and change the bonus orange stats on your gear. The most notable thing to learn is that not every piece of gear can be enchanted and/or recreated. Items obtained from a quest can NOT be recreated to have orange stats. This includes the Noble 1-15 quest gear, the 29-32 quest dread armor, the lvl 45 epic weapons, the level 5x dragon quest weapons, etc. Basically if you got it from a quest you cannot put orange stats on it.

Also, there are high level weapons that cannot be enchanted. The level 56 and 59 and 60 quest weapons cannot be enchanted. The level 60, being a quest reward cannot take orange stats either. The 56 and 59 can take orange stats, just not enchantments.

Also, helms that are not officially labeled with the type identifier (Noble, Worship, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, Goddess) cannot be enchanted or recreated. Meaning, for example, the “Freya Helm” that has 5 slots does not have base stats, cannot get orange bonus stats, or be enchanted to add absorption. The “Legendary Dragon Helm” CAN get all those things. Most of the helms are not officially dread/legendary and thus we call them “4 slot, 5 slot, etc.” There are Dread 30 helms, there are Legendary 51 Helms, There are Goddess 51 Helms that have been officially released on US servers, the latter two being only like one or two in existence from AP promos.

CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON

Certainly not as dramatic sounding as the Mortal Kombat voiceover “Choose your destiny!” But nevertheless it’s an important decision. A sword or dual axes is not really a main weapon. There are a few novelty or advanced strategical uses for a sword/dual axes but as an archer/hunter you’re basically choosing between normal bow and crossbow/javelin for your main weapon. You could try to specialize in both weapons but there is not a huge reason to do this beyond maximizing your AoE skills but the benefit of that isn’t worth the extra skill points you would have to use to learn bow and crossbow/javelin skills. Skill points are not going to be in such abundance as to be able to spend them in that way. Really you have to pick one in order to be as good as you can be.

So, normal bow or crossbow/javelin? The short answer, I still lean toward normal bow. But now that Episode 4 has been released crossbows/javelins are only one speed slower than bows. This means there is now a choice to be made. Do you sacrifice one attack speed in order to have higher base ATK? The difference between the attack of a bow and the attack power of a crossbow/javelin does not become significantly great until the 50s. The Cloron/Fantasma Dragon drop crossbow/javelin has a massive max attack. In my opinion the real choice begins when you’re comparing the Cloron/Fantasma drops, the Sky City quest weapons, the level 56, and level 59 Cryptic Throne weapons. At this level the attack power of a crossbow/javelin is significantly higher than the comparable normal bow.

In terms of DPS i ran the numbers and a general rule is a normal bow will get an extra shot off every 5th skill. In other words, a crossbow/javelin can attack 5 times in the same amount of time that a normal bow can attack 6 times. The extra damage from that extra normal bow shot indeed makes up for the extra damage a crossbow/javelin gets on the first 5 shots. Actually the normal bow has the potential to double the damage with that extra shot. Because a high level crossbow/javelin will deal about 250 more damage per shot which comes out to 1250-1750 damage. But at high level a single shot from a normal bow deals in the 2k+ range. So basically in terms of damage the DPS will be really close. It all depends on your personal damage output.

For lower level weapons a normal bow is the winner. The attack gained from a lower level crossbow/javelin doesn’t make up for the extra attack speed of a normal bow. That being said, for situations in which 4 skills or less will kill the enemy, then a crossbow will be better in general because the normal bow doesn’t have enough “time” to get an extra attack in. But for bosses, and longer fights a normal bow will start to pull away in terms of DPS. Also, accuracy is something to be considered. If you miss with a normal bow it’s not as big a consequence as when you miss with a crossbow. The reason being that a normal bow spreads its damage out between more shots so the damage per shot is less, thus the damage lost from a missed shot is less. In PvP, you also run around a lot and so the downtime between shots makes the slower speed of a crossbow less of an issue because you’re not constantly attacking.

So you can see there are choices, pros and cons. What’s best differs depending on the situation. Still given all that I would recommend normal bows over crossbows/javelins. If you are an archer then your lvl 45 epic weapon is a normal bow. If you are a Hunter it is a javelin. The lvl 60 weapon is a crossbow/javelin, but the quest you need to complete to get it involves killing one of the hardest bosses in the game and it takes a whole guild many hours to kill and only ONE of those people will get their weapon each time the boss is killed (once a week is when it spawns). So you can see chances are you won’t ever get that lvl 60 crossbow/javelin.

Before I retired from the game I sold all my gear and dumped all my gold into making the best Arcane Star (crossbow) I could. That weapon was a beast and had I stayed around I probably would have switched to crossbow. So basically crossbow/javelin will have higher burst damage (4 shots and less) but normal bow will have slightly higher overall damage. Though honestly the potential for DPS is very close between the two. That is again talking about the handful of highest level weapons. For lower levels a normal bow is just better DPS.

There is also the subject of flash lapis to consider, which increases attack speed. But only Max Flash (3 speed increase) would ultimately change the comparison between bow and crossbow since a normal bow can utilize two speed increases before capping out. Hopefully nothing higher than lvl 1 Flash will ever see the light of day. However, there is Melon Ice Cream, an item that you use to increase your attack speed for 10 minutes. And there are jewelry that increase your attack speed one level permanently, so long as it is equipped. By utilizing a flash lapis, a flash ring, and melon ice cream, you could raise your crossbow/javelin to the maximum attack speed. In this case the crossbow/javelin is simply hands down better than a normal bow because the normal bow is no longer faster.

Determining which weapon is better for you depends on your preference. Burst damage or over time damage (commonly called DPS, damage per second). Also, how much damage you do per hit with a normal bow is important information. As said, if you are constantly attacking then you will get 6 shots off with a bow in the same time it takes a crossbow/javelin to get 5 shots off. If you are hitting for 3k+ on average per hit, than the extra 250 or so damage per hit a crossbow/javelin does, will be completely made up for and surpassed, by your extra bow attack.

It’s not a simple choice, and that’s what I like about it. There actually are pros and cons in the decision. I tend to favor bows unless you are weighing two options in which the crossbow/javelin is the same speed as your normal bow choice. In other words, I would try to get my hands on a flash ring, flash a crossbow/javelin, and use melon ice cream all the time. That would be my goal if I still played and could manage it.

SUPERCHARGED PROJECTILE WEAPONRY

There is another thing worth noting. The level 60 Cryptic The Immortal quest weapons are crossbow for archer and javelin for hunter. Both get an attack speed increase built right into it. This means, in terms of attack speed they are equal to normal bows. There is also a lvl 55 javelin that has the same base speed increase, a seemingly rare fluke quest drop javelin with said speed increase, and the lvl 45 epic fire javelin has the same speed increase. For the most part in the end this doesn’t change which weapons have the best potential but for many people and in many cases these will be significant factors as to which weapon may be the best you can personally achieve.

The Carunes. (lvl 55 jav) only has 3 slots and poor base stats making it not be a contender in the “best” weapon category.

The Nodein Flame Javelin. is not really an endgame weapon. The attack is too low in the end because it’s only a lvl 45 weapon. It has no slots and the base elemental attribute is not the big deal it used to be now that we have the elemental buffs.

The Javelin of Death. is that rare fluke I was talking about. People have gotten it obviously that’s how we know about it. But we don’t know HOW or WHY they did. The quest drop is supposed to be the less useful dual axes. Statistically speaking it’s pretty good. You give up the equivalent of about 26 stat points but you gain one attack speed increas but there are two problems not counting the seemingly near impossibility of actually getting the weapon itself. It can’t take orange base stats, which is worth 50+ stat points. All said you give up about 75 stat points when compared to something like a Green Athena or Goddess Arktis. The bigger problem is that the item you need to enchant it is super rare and hard to get enough of.

The Death Foshibil. The level 60 crossbow. Nobody really payed much attention to this since only one guild per server/faction really will get them. Many reading this probably did not even know it had an attack speed increase on it.

The potential of this crossbow is an interesting topic. It cannot be enchanted, it cannot take orange base stats, but it is one speed faster than a normal crossbow. It’s essentially like a normal bow in speed. In short, this crossbow becomes roughly equivalent to a Goddess Merlin’s Force bow that has been enchanted to level [11] and given orange stats of 40 in some mix of STR, DEX, and LUC. So it’s interesting and the weapon should not simply be written off because in its base form it is equal to a bow that would cost billions upon billions to make. I made such a bow and it cost over 6 billion gold to craft. In other words, if you happen to be able to get this crossbow and were going to make a less enchanted Shining Finger [9], as an example. You would be better off just using the Death Foshibil because unless you enchant your normal bow to higher than [11] and give it orange stats of 40+ then the DF is better or equal with no work at all to enchant or recreate it. You do have to get the DF crossbow which is a feat in itself though.

Comparing it to the Sky City crossbow is a little more complex because the DF is one speed faster. The best potential crossbow is the Goddess Shoot Heaven. We could say that the two crossbows are equal if you enchant the Shoot Heaven to level [4]. But the Death Foshibil is still one speed faster and so it becomes a similar debate as choosing between crossbow and normal bow in general. For what it’s worth, enchanting to [4] is not that hard. If you are one who favors the normal bow side of the crossbow / normal bow conundrum then ironically the level 60 crossbow actually would fall on the normal bow side of that debate. In other words, the attack speed increase makes this weapon statistically more like a bow than a crossbow and when comparing it is more logical to treat it as if it were a normal bow. So choosing between this 60 crossbow and say an Arcane Star would be like choosing between a Shining Finger and an Arcane Star. Just something to consider.

Artraiya Adein More commonly known as the “lvl 60 javelin,”nobody really payed much attention to this since only one guild per server/faction really will get them. Many reading this probably did not even know it had an attack speed increase on it.

The potential of this javelin is an interesting topic. It cannot be enchanted, it cannot take orange base stats, but it is one speed faster than a normal javelin. It’s essentially like a normal bow in speed. In short, this javelin becomes roughly equivalent to a Goddess Yucan’s Scare bow that has been enchanted to level [11] and given orange stats of 45 in some mix of STR, DEX, and LUC. So it’s interesting and the weapon should not simply be written off because in its base form it is equal to a bow that would cost billions upon billions to make. I made such a bow and it cost over 6 billion gold to craft. In other words, if you happen to be able to get this javelin and were going to make a less enchanted Croker More [9], as an example. You would be better off just using the Artraiya Adein because unless you enchant your normal bow to higher than [11] and give it orange stats of 45+ then the Artraiya Adein is better or equal with no work at all to enchant or recreate it. You do have to get the Artraiya Adein which is a feat in itself though.

Comparing it to the Sky City javelin is a little more complex because the Artraiya Adein is one speed faster. The best potential javelin is the Goddess Arktis. We could say that the two javelins are equal if you enchant the Arktis to level [4]. But the Artraiya Adein is still one speed faster and so it becomes a similar debate as choosing between javelin and normal bow in general. For what it’s worth, enchanting to [4] is not that hard. If you are one who favors the normal bow side of the javelin / normal bow conundrum then ironically the level Artraiya Adein actually would fall on the normal bow side of that debate. In other words, the attack speed increase makes this weapon statistically more like a bow than a javelin and when comparing it, it is more logical to treat it as if it were a normal bow. So choosing between this Artraiya Adein and a Goddess Arktis would be like choosing between a Croker More and a Goddess Arktis.

ARCHER ARMOR GUIDE:
Index Code: [XAAMR]

Here is a list of all the armor available for Archers. I’ve included some information as well as pictures of each armor. Armor can come in many versions depending on how many slots it has for linking lapis to. Noble (1 slot), Worship (2), Heroic (3), Dread (4), Legendary (5 and can only be worn by hard mode and ultimate mode characters), and Goddess (6 slots and can only be worn by ultimate mode characters).

With the exception of the lvl 55-58 Raffiniert set, archer gauntlets give +STR stats, boots give +LUC, pants give +DEX, and top gives +DEX. This only applies to slotted versions, the plain versions do not give extra stats. Noble gives +1 stat, worship gives +2, heroic gives +3, dread +5, Legendary +6, goddess +7 base stats.

Cloth Armor
Gauntlets level 2, Boots level 3, Pants level 4, Top Armor level 5
Plain and Noble versions
This armor is a quest reward. Most people probably skip this set altogether. It’s likely by the time you acquire all the pieces that you will be high enough level to wear the next set anyway. It’s definitely not worth putting lapis in unless you are rich and bored and do it for kicks.

Leather Armor
Gauntlets level 8, Boots level 9, Pants level 10, Top Armor level 11
Plain and Noble versions
This armor is also a quest reward. The Noble version of the boots, pants, and top are the best ones available for PvPing in the 1-15 zone. The quest for the top armor is called Robbed Woodpile. It tells you to get 5 woodpiles and bring them back. In reality you must collect 15 of them and then you will get the noble top as a reward.

Hard Leather Armor
Gauntlets level 15, Boots level 16, Pants level 17, Top Armor level 18
Plain and Noble versions
This armor is a quest reward. The Noble version of the gauntlets are the best ones available for PvPing in the 1-15 zone. They are from a quest and can also be purchased in a guild house that has been upgraded.

Terra Armor
Gauntlets level 22, Boots level 23, Pants level 24, Top Armor level 25
Plain, Worship, and Heroic versions
The worship version of this armor drops from Graveyard Loca, the mini boss of Cornwell Ruins on map 1. He has a spawn time of 30 minutes after he is killed. The heroic version of this armor is dropped from the boss of Cornwell Ruins, Asmo. The heroic top and pants are the best ones available for PvPing in the 20-30 zone.

Unicorn Armor
Gauntlets level 29, Boots level 30, Pants level 31, Top Armor level 32
Plain, Worship, Heroic, Dread, and Legendary versions
The dread version of this armor is from a series of quests for Hard mode characters. The dread gauntlets and boots are considered the best ones available for PvPing in the 20-30 zone. I believe the worship version drops from the weaker mobs in Fedion dungeon. Heroic I think drops from Corrupt Pharos, the boss of the 20-30 PvP zone dungeon. There is also a legendary version which does drop on the official US servers. However, it is insanely rare, even a fluke you might say, to get this from an outer world map random drop. Don’t hold your breath, but some legend 30 pieces do exist and are technically the “best” for 20-30 PvP but their rarity makes them hardly worth discussing.

Ebony Armor
Gauntlets level 36, Boots level 37, Pants level 38, Top Armor level 39
Plain, Heroic, and Dread versions
The Dread version of this armor is very rare. I believe it drops from the Fedion boss Ajuha. The heroic version drops from the mobs deeper in Fedion.

Portuba Armor
Gauntlets N/A, Boots N/A, Pants level 40, Top Armor level 40
Two slotted “worship” only
This is an alternate armor version of the Ebony armor. It looks the same except it’s green. There are only top and pants, no gloves or boots. It drops from the Asmodeus mini bosses in Maitreyan dungeon and Cloron’s Lair as well as the Generals.

Freya Armor
Gauntlets level 43, Boots level 44, Pants level 45, Top Armor level 46
Plain, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, Goddess versions
I believe the heroic version of this drops in Maitreyan dungeon. The dread drops from the mini bosses and boss of Maitreyan. For Goddess/Legendary see below.

Legendary Freya Armor
Gauntlets level 43, Boots level 44, Pants level 45, Top Armor level 46
The Legendary version of this armor drops from the boss of Maitreyan dungeon, Ankylul. As far as i know only the top and pants exist. There have been rumors that the chests from
freezing mirage boss may drop the gloves and boots but i can’t confirm that. (the gloves in the pic happen to be unicorn.) There are lvl 45 gloves from the lvl 43 epic quest that look just like Legendary Freya gauntlets would. Don’t be fooled, if you see someone with these it is 99.9% likely that they are the quest gauntlets.

Goddess Freya Armor
Gauntlets level 43, Boots level 44, Pants level 45, Top Armor level 46
The Goddess version of this armor drops from the dragon form of the Freezing Mirage boss. I do not know if the gloves and boots exist or not. Yes i know it looks drastically different than the other versions of Freya but i promise the picture is correct. This gets my pick for the best armor in the game (though technically goddess dragon is better statistically as it gives slightly more HP, MP, SP, def bonus – not much though).

Dragon Armor
Gauntlets level 50, Boots level 51, Pants level 52, Top Armor level 53
Plain, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
The heroic version drops from mobs in Elemental Cave as well as Cloron’s Lair, the dread drops from mini bosses in cloron’s lair. For Legendary/goddess see below.

Legendary Dragon Armor
Gauntlets level 50, Boots level 51, Pants level 52, Top Armor level 53
The gloves i believe drop from Ankylul, the boss of Maitreyan dungeon; the boots may as well i’m not sure. The top and pants i believe only drop from the Cloron Troll (mini boss of cloron’s lair) or the chests that drop after the Cloron dragon or Freezing Mirage dragon die.

Goddess Dragon Armor
Gauntlets level 50, Boots level 51, Pants level 52, Top Armor level 53
This drops from Cryptic Throne bosses. Yeah it looks like it should be a Freya armor but i promise you the one pictures is goddess dragon. This is technically the best armor available for UM archers since it has an extra slot over the “Legendary” Raffiniert.

Raffiniert Armor
Gauntlets level 55, Boots level 56, Pants level 57, Top Armor level 58
Noble, Dread, and Legendary versions
I know the boots and gloves drop from the scorpion mobs in the desert. I believe they also drop in the jungle. The top and pants drop from bosses in the desert/jungle though i don’t know which. The Legendary pants seem to be the most rare of this set. This is the highest level armor in the game and for Hard mode or Normal mode characters it is the best set.

Future 60+ Armor
Gauntlets level 60, Boots level 61, Pants level 62, Top Armor level 63
This armor is supposed to have 6 slots, be for UM only and drop from bosses that are of course not yet in the game. I have to say this is the kind of armor I always wanted. Elegant yet intimidating, beautiful yet spiky. That’s the kind of thing elves should be wearing in battle. You cannot deny the similarity between this and Goddess Freya. It really is a beefed up version of it in terms of appearance. Though I don’t play anymore so I won’t get to wear it, I can appreciate the designers finally giving us the kind of archer armor worthy of the elven race.

ARCHER HELMS GUIDE:
Index Code: [XAHLM]

The helms that are obtained from quests in game are non slotted. Normal helms are from quests, usually involving turning in 30 cores of some type in exchange for the helm. The slotted helms come from AP promos of various kinds, from raffles to straight purchasing for AP. There are lvl 1 one slot helms, lvl 15 two slot helms, lvl 30 dread helms, lvl 44 five slot helms, legend helms, goddess helms. There are also seasonal or other more novelty looking helms like the leprechaun hat, and military caps, these usually have a single slot. Though people have nearly burnt the server to the ground with their flaming cries, the fact remains on the Aeria Game servers you buy slotted helms with AP and they never have and never will drop in game (the exception being the “novelty” helms like the leprechaun hat and military cap, which are slotted).

Cloth Helm – level 1. This helm has one slot. It looks just like a Unicorn Helm.

Military Cap – level 1. Looks like a purple beret and has one slot and base stats of +3 to all seven stats.

Leprechaun Hat – level 1. Has one slot and no base stats.

Hard Leather Helm – level 15. This helm has two slots. It also looks just like a Unicorn Helm.

Unicorn Helm – level 30. The plain version is from a level 29 quest in Arktus Ville. You need to collect 30 spirit cores to trade for the helm. Spirit cores can be found from the Sealakels just south of the town or the Goblin camp to the south east. There is a Dread version of this helmet, an AP promo item of course, and it is a coveted item for PvPing in the 20-30 zone.

Ebony Helm – level 37. The plain version is from a level 36 quest in Silvaren. You have to collect and trade 30 mare cores for it. There is also a 4 slot version of this helm from AP promos it is NOT a “Dread” helm but it does have 4 slots.

Freya Helm – level 44. The plain version is from a level 43 quest in Stronghold. You have to collect and trade 30 pint cores for it. There are also AP obtained 5 slotted Freya helmets, they are NOT “Legendary”.

Dragon Helm – level 51. The plain version is from a level 50 quest in Apulune (the blacksmith outside of the city). You have to trade 3 level 3 endure lapis and 15 dark mages stones for it. There are also Legendary and Goddess versions from AP raffles. There are a confirmed 2 Goddess Dragon helms across all four US servers and no more at this time. There are at least 2 Legendary Dragon helms across all four US servers and could be up to four more, though unlikely (4 raffle winners did not post their helm type choice on the forums to see. Unlikely that all 4 choose archer/ranger helm but not impossible.)

ARCHER CAPE GUIDE:
Index Code: [XACPE]

There are lots of different capes that archers can wear, at least 14 off the top of my head. They come in 8 different lvl varieties with 1 – 3 different versions per level. There are 4 normal mode capes and 4 hard mode and above capes. The normal lvl 31 and 44 capes are short and look the same. I’ve only pictured one of each style to save space but they do come in other colors, which i will list in the description. All capes except the lvl 16 also give DEF/MP/SP/HP bonus but they are very insignificant so i won’t list them all. Just to give you an idea the best one (54 HM) gives 6 DEF, 6 resist, 72 HP, 51 SP, 52 MP. So you can see even the top cape gives insignificant boost in those stats.

There is now a badge merchant in Apulune. You can bring your cape there and select from some standard designs to put on the back of your cape. As of right now the options to choose from are not super great. If they ever implement the option to upload custom logos from your PC then it will truly be something special. But for the low price of 450k you can make your cape a little fancier if you choose. You can also buy lvl 31 NM capes from NPC merchants. They cost 40 million gold and you can get them in any stat, each stat is a different colored cape.

Fighting Mantle – must be level 16 or higher to wear, gives no stat bonus. no longer distributed so pretty rare.

Lvl 31 NM capes – must be level 31 or higher to wear, gives + 11 to one stat. There is a STR version which is red, a DEX version which is green, and a LUC version which is purple. In addition to those standard stats there are also, INT capes that are golden yellow (not to mention useless), WIS which are khaki colored (again useless for archers), and REC capes which are blue. All buyable from NPC merchant in Apulune for 40 million gold.

Lvl 44 NM capes – must be level 44 or higher to wear, gives + 13 to one stat. There is a STR version which is red, a DEX version which is green, and a LUC version which is purple. This looks exactly like the lvl 31 capes except since you can’t buy them from the NPC merchants, they are only available in STR, DEX, and LUC versions from other players.

Lvl 52 NM capes – must be level 52 or higher to wear, gives + 17 to one stat. There is a STR version which is red, a DEX version which is green, and a LUC version which is purple. The STR version, which is called the Cape of the Force (pictured) is red and is very rare.

Cape of the Fierce – must be level 33 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 11 LUC and 11 DEX.

Cape of the Beast – must be level 41 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 13 LUC and 13 DEX.

Cape of the Feral – must be level 48 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 16 LUC and 16 DEX.

Cape of the Savage – must be level 54 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 18 LUC and 18 DEX.

ARCHER MOUNTS GUIDE:
Index Code: [XAMNT]

There are seven different mounts that archers can ride. Only two of them are buyable within the game. The other five are from AP events / raffles. You can of course buy those from other players who got them from said events. The two mounts buyable in game are not tradeable, which means you cannot sell them or give them to other players. You can put them in your warehouse and trade them between your characters on your account though. The hard mode and ultimate mode mounts seat two people and anyone, regardless of class or level or mode, can ride as a passenger.

Leopard mount – must be level 40 to ride, any mode can ride it. Buyable from merchant in Apulune for 11 million gold. Increases movement speed to very fast. Seats one. (not tradeable)

Red Leopard mount – must be level 40 to ride, any mode can ride it. Event item, not buyable in game. Increases movement speed to very fast. Seats one.

Silver Lion mount – must be level 50 to ride, only hard mode and ultimate mode can ride it. Buyable from merchant in Apulune for 75 million gold. Increases movement speed to extremely fast. Seats two. (not tradeable)

Red Lion mount – must be level 50 to ride, only hard mode and ultimate mode can ride it. Event item, not buyable in game. Increases movement speed to extremely fast. Seats two.

White Tiger mount – must be level 50 to ride, only hard mode and ultimate mode can ride it. Event item, not buyable in game. Increases movement speed to extremely fast. Seats two.

Land Phoenix – must be level 58 to ride, only ultimate mode can ride it. Event item, not buyable in game. Increases movement speed to extremely fast. Seats two.

Reindeer – a Christmas mount dropping during the holiday season but will remain in game permanently. All modes can ride it at level 28. It seats one and increases movement speed to extremely fast.

ARCHER BOW GUIDE:
Index Code: [XABOW]

Archers can choose from three weapons: Bows, Crossbows, and One Handed Swords. Depending on what you have equipped, the skills you can use, as well as how your stats effect you change. (LUC adds shooting ATK, which doesn’t apply to swords. But swords get 1.3 ATK for every 1 STR which doesn’t apply to bows.)

Normal bows are certainly the most popular archer weapon. I use them almost exclusively. They attack faster than crossbows, and lets face it, archers are not really meant to use swords. As far as base stats go, Noble weapons give 6 spread across 1-3 different stat categories, Worship gives 12, Heroic 18, Dread 24, Legendary 30, Goddess 36.

Short Bow
Level 1
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 17 – 22
The noble version of this drops from mobs outside the starting cities of Beika and Aelbeageu

Long Bow
Level 7
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 23 – 30
I believe the noble version is from a quest.

Composite Bow
Level 13
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 31 – 41
The Noble version of this bow is from a quest. It’s the best weapon for use in the 1-15 pvp zone.

Battle Bow
Level 19
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 41 – 54
This Noble version drops from monsters inside Cornwell’s Ruin.

Eagle Strike
Level 25
Epic Weapon
ATK Power: 67 – 88
This is the reward for the first epic quest which starts near the antelope field to the west of Haldock Farm. It has no slots but has 12 Dex and 20 Luc base stats.

Siege Bow
Level 25
Plain, Worship, and Heroic versions
ATK Power: 53 – 70
I believe the Worship and Heroic versions drop from the mini boss and boss of Cornwell’s Ruin, Graveyard Loca and Asmo.

Sweet Madonna
Level 31
Plain, Worship, and Legendary versions
ATK Power: 67 – 88
I’m not sure if there is a heroic version, the worship is most common, and i know there is at least one Legendary sweet madonna out there on Lailah server. Looks just like the Epic eagle strike except it doesn’t glow. (well the Legendary version glows blue).

Shine Spark
Level 37
Plain, Heroic, and Dread versions (perhaps worship too idk)
ATK Power: 83 – 108
The heroic version I believe drops from mobs inside Matireyan dungeon. The dread version drops from the Fedion boss, Ajuha.

Dark Bow
Level 40
2 slots, 23 base stats (+8 STR +12 DEX +3 LUC)
ATK Power: 92 – 132
This is the weapon equivalent of Portuba armor. It has only 2 slots and drops from the Maitreyan dungeon mini bosses as well as the Cloron’s lair Asmodius mini bosses. Took me a few hours farming the minis before i gave up and then realized there was one in the guild warehouse i could have looked at for the stats ^^

Pan’s Shot
Level 41
4 Slots, 38 base stats
ATK Power: 91 -143
This weapon is a Pando drop limit of quantity, recently they started dropping again and showing no signs of stopping so as far as we can say they drop from mobs in the Skulleron (Pando) map. But not the fire mobs in Calli Puirr or Vindes Puirr (those drop higher level weapons).

Nidhoggr
Level 43
Plain and Heroic versions (maybe dread as well)
ATK Power: 101 – 132
The Heroic version likely drops from mobs inside Cloron’s Lair. The Dread version probably drops from the Asmodeus mini boss mobs in Cloron’s Lair or the mini bosses in Maitreyan dungeon or perhaps Ajuha, the Fedion dungeon boss.

Elfen Aqua Bow
Level 45
Water, +1 ATK Speed
ATK Power: 120 -158
This is the reward for the level 43 Epic quest. It gives no base stats and has no slots, but it has a faster attacking speed and it is water elemental. This bow is pretty good for the extra speed it has but since EP4’s elemental buffs it has lost some value since the element on it is not as significant. You can change the element of this bow from a follow up quest and with that change the name and the color of the glow changes as well.

Piku Hawk
Level 47
4 Slots, 43 base stats
ATK Power: 111 – 173
This weapon is a Pando drop limit of quantity, recently they started dropping again and showing no signs of stopping so as far as we can say they drop from mobs in the Skulleron (Pando) map. From the fire mobs in Calli Puirr or Vindes Puirr.

God Finger
Level 49
Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 120 -158
Heroic version drops in Cloron’s Lair from normal mobs. Dread version drops from the mobs in the Cloron Troll room. Legendary version drops from Cloron Troll and dragon boxes. Goddess version drops from Freezing Mirage dragon.

Bow of the Wild
Level 53
4 Slots, +18 STR base, +12 DEX, +6 LUC
ATK Power: 136 – 177
This is from a high level quest. Part of the quest requires that you collect drops that come from treasure chests that spawn after killing the big end game dragons Cloron and Freezing Mirage. Thus it is very difficult to complete. Getting a sword is the common reward however some people have gotten this normal bow. How exactly you do that, I do not think anyone knows for sure. So as far as I know it’s just luck, given our current understanding.

Shining Finger
Level 53
4 Slots, 47 base stats
ATK Power: 132 – 206
This bow drops only from the Cloron Dragon, boss of Cloron’s lair dungeon. He spawns 3 days after he is killed.

Merlin’s Force
Level 54
Plain, Noble, Worship, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 128 – 176
This bow is from a repeatable Sky City quest reward.

Sweet Bow
Level 55
3 Slots, 18 base stats (+9 DEX +9 LUC)
ATK Power: 144 – 186
Drops from Elemental Cave bosses and also from Cloron Troll. Honestly it’s not really better than a well lapised Legendary God Finger. for an NM archer though it may be the best bow that is affordable and easy enough to acquire. It looks exactly the same as a God Finger except it glows orange (like a Goddess God Finger).

Soul Finger
Level 56
5 Slots, 42 base stats
ATK Power: 146 -191
This bow drops from bosses in Cryptic Throne, which opens only after killing Freezing Mirage dragon. They spawn only once a week.

Howling Dragon
Level 59
5 Slots, 48 base stats
ATK Power: 158 – 206
This bow drops from Cryptic the Immortal Dragon which requires that you kill Freezing Mirage Dragon to open Cryptic Throne, and then kill all the bosses including the Cryptic One inside to get to CTI. This is potentially the strongest normal bow in the game (EP4).

ARCHER CROSSBOW GUIDE:
Index Code: [XAXBW]

Archers can choose from three weapons: Bows, Crossbows, and One Handed Swords. Depending on what you have equipped, the skills you can use, as well as how your stats effect you change. (LUC adds shooting ATK, which doesn’t apply to swords. But swords get 1.3 ATK for every 1 STR which doesn’t apply to bows.)

In general, most crossbows have slower ATK speed than normal bows, but they have higher base ATK. I’ve already listed a detailed comparison about choosing your weapon type. Here is the statistical information about all the crossbows in the game. As far as base stats go, Noble weapons give 6 spread across 1-3 different stat categories, Worship gives 12, Heroic 18, Dread 24, Legendary 30, Goddess 36.

Cross Bow
Level 1
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 25 – 35
The noble version of this drops from mobs outside the starting cities of Beika and Aelbeageu

Arbalest
Level 8
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 36 – 50
I believe the noble version is from a quest.

Lightening Bow
Level 14
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 49 – 68
The Noble version is a quest reward. It’s the quest in which you have to kill the leopardess boss Eolith. If you choose to use crossbows this would be the best one for the 1-15 PvP zone.

DesPandamonium
Level 20
Plain, Noble versions
ATK Power: 64 – 89
This drops from monsters inside Cornwell’s Ruin.

Hresvelgr
Level 26
Plain, Worship, Heroic versions
ATK Power: 83 – 114
I believe the Worship and Heroic versions drop from the mini boss and boss of Cornwell’s Ruin, Graveyard Loca and Asmo. The Noble version probably drops from normal mobs inside Cornwell’s Ruin.

Shooting Star
Level 32
Plain, Worship, Heroic versions
ATK Power: 104 – 144
The Worship and Heroic versions drop from Corrupt Pharos, the boss of Pharos Temple, the dungeon in the 20-30 PvP zone.

Nemesis
Level 38
Plain, Heroic, Dread versions
ATK Power: 129 – 177
The Heroic version I believe drops inside Matreyan dungeon. The dread version drops from the Fedion dungeon boss, Ajuha.

Snakeshot
Level 42
4 Slots, 40 base stats
ATK Power: 141 – 237
This weapon is a Pando drop limit of quantity. They recently started dropping again and showing no signs of stopping so as far as we can say they will continue to drop from mobs in the Skulleron (Pando). But not the fire mobs in Calli Puirr or Vindes Puirr (those drop higher level weapons).

Gastraphetes
Level 44
Plain, Heroic, Dread versions
ATK Power: 156 – 215
The Heroic version likely drops from mobs inside Cloron’s Lair. The Dread version probably drops from the Asmodeus mini boss mobs in Cloron’s Lair or the mini bosses in Maitreyan dungeon.

Stone Phetes
Level 48
4 Slots, 44 base stats
ATK Power: 171 – 291
This weapon is a Pando drop limit of quantity, recently they started dropping again and showing no signs of stopping so as far as we can say they drop from mobs in the Skulleron (Pando) map. From the fire mobs in Calli Puirr or Vindes Puirr.

Arcu-Ballista
Level 50
Heroic, Dread, Legendary, Goddess versions
ATK Power: 186 – 256
Heroic version drops in Cloron’s Lair from normal mobs. Dread version drops from the mobs in the Cloron Troll room. Legendary version drops from Cloron Troll and dragon boxes. Goddess version drops from Freezing Mirage dragon.

Arcane Star
Level 54
4 Slots, 48 stats
ATK Power: 203 – 345
This drops from Cloron Dragon, boss of Cloron’s lair. He spawns 72 hours from the time of his last death. This is currently one of the best crossbows in the game due to the ability to enchant it. A Goddess Shoot Heaven has the potential to be better than this but only if you use the correct lapis (lvl 6s). In any case, the difference is very small.

Shoot Heaven
Level 55
Plain, Noble, Worship, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 199 – 288
This crossbow is from a repeatable Sky City quest reward.

Bermina
Level 55
3 Slots, +2 REC +39 LUC base stats
ATK Power: 213 – 294
This drops from Elemental Cave bosses. It looks exactly like an Arcu-Balilsta that glows orange. It can also drop from Cloron Troll.

Germina
Level 55
3 Slots, +6 STR +24 DEX +6 REC +3 LUC base stats
ATK Power: 213 – 294
This is another one that drops from Elemental Cave bosses. It looks like a Nemesis that glows orange. It can also drop from Cloron Troll.

Starlander
Level 56
5 Slots, 42 base stats
ATK Power: 219 – 302
This bow drops from bosses in Cryptic Throne, which opens only after killing Freezing Mirage dragon. They spawn only once a week.

Primal Hawk
Level 59
5 Slots, 36 base stats
ATK Power: 236 – 326
This crossbow drops from Cryptic the Immortal Dragon which requires that you kill Freezing Mirage Dragon to open Cryptic Throne, and then kill all the bosses including the Cryptic One inside to get to CTI.

Death Foshubil
Level 60
6 slots, 60 base stats, +1 ATK Speed
ATK power: 260 -350
This bow has base stats of 15 STR 15LUC 15DEX 15REC. This is the reward for a new Episode 4 quest that involves killing Cryptic the Immortal dragon. The nature of the quest means it’s going to be only for very few people who happen to be pretty important in the guild that is in the “power position” on the server they play on. If that’s not you then don’t count on ever getting this crossbow.

ARCHER SWORD GUIDE:
Index Code: [XASWD]

Archers can choose from three weapons: Bows, Crossbows, and One Handed Swords. Depending on what you have equipped, the skills you can use, as well as how your stats effect you change. (LUC adds shooting ATK, which doesn’t apply to swords. But swords get 1.3 ATK for every 1 STR which doesn’t apply to bows.)

It’s interesting why we even get to use swords. If anything i would have thought an archer may get a small dagger, Legolas style. But the way the skills are set up there is really no reason to use a sword. I have yet to find a serious archer who actually uses them over bows. There are a few more novelty and unorthodox PvP techniques for using a sword but most won’t bother with them.

Actually there is one valid reason to have a sword on hand. During monster spawn events usually boxes or pigs are spawned that are resistant to range attacks so you cannot hit them with a bow/xbow. That would be the time to whip out a sword and start swinging. But there are virtually no skills usable with a sword and you don’t get any speed upgrades and using a sword means you will be in close combat with your target and thus taking much more damage than a normal bow wielding archer.

As far as base stats go, Noble weapons give 6 spread across 1-3 different stat categories, Worship gives 12, Heroic 18, Dread 24, Legendary 30, Goddess 36.

Long Sword
Level 1
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 19 – 21
The noble version of this drops from mobs outside the starting cities of Beika and Aelbeageu

Bast*rd Sword
Level 5
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 23 – 26
I believe the noble version is from a quest.

Silver Sword
Level 11
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 32 -35
This can actually be obtained from the quest “A Devoted Husband Duke”, If you choose the defender’s reward. It is also buyable from an upgraded guild house’s weapon merchant.

Gradius
Level 17
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 42 – 47
This drops from monsters inside Cornwell’s Ruin.

Rune Blade
Level 23
Plain, Noble, Worship, and Heroic versions
ATK Power: 55 – 61
I believe the Worship and Heroic versions drop from the mini boss and boss of Cornwell’s Ruin, Graveyard Loca and Asmo. The Noble version probably drops from normal mobs inside Cornwell’s Ruin.

Damascus Sword
Level 29
Plain, Worship, and Heroic versions
ATK Power: 70 – 78
The Worship and Heroic versions probably drop from Corrupt Pharos, the boss of Pharos Temple, the dungeon in the 20-30 PvP zone.

Aluster
Level 35
Plain, Heroic, and Dread versions
ATK Power: 87 – 97
The heroic version I believe drops from mobs inside Fedion dungeon and maybe mobs inside Matireyan dungeon. The dread version drops from the Fedion boss, Ajuha.

Yelloster
Level 39
4 Slots, 38 base stats
ATK Power: 95 – 115
This weapon is a Pando drop limit of quantity, recently they started dropping again and showing no signs of stopping so as far as we can say they drop from mobs in the Skulleron (Pando) map. But not the fire mobs in Calli Puirr or Vindes Puirr (those drop higher level weapons).

Balisarda
Level 41
Plain, Heroic, Dread versions
ATK Power: 107 – 118
The Heroic version likely drops from mobs inside Cloron’s Lair. The Dread version probably drops from the Asmodeus mini boss mobs in Cloron’s Lair or the mini bosses in Maitreyan dungeon.

Beris
Level 45
4 Slots, 42 base stats
ATK Power: 116 – 140
This weapon is a Pando drop limit of quantity, recently they started dropping again and showing no signs of stopping so as far as we can say they drop from mobs in the Skulleron (Pando) map. From the fire mobs in Calli Puirr or Vindes Puirr.

Ascalon
Level 47
Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 128 – 142
Heroic version drops in Cloron’s Lair from normal mobs. Dread version drops from the mobs in the Cloron Troll room. Legendary version drops from Cloron Troll and dragon boxes. Goddess version drops from Freezing Mirage dragon.

Rancor
Level 51
4 Slots, +36 STR base
ATK Power: 144 – 159
This is from a high level quest. Part of the quest requires that you collect drops that come from treasure chests that spawn after killing the big end game dragons Cloron and Freezing Mirage. Thus it is very difficult to complete and honestly this weapon would not be worth it to me. It does look pretty sweet though.

Tatugalon
Level 51
4 Slots, 46 base stats
ATK Power: 140 – 168
This drops from Cloron Dragon, boss of Cloron’s lair. He spawns 72 hours from the time of his last death.

Falchion
Level 52
Plain, Noble, Worship, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 131 -148
This sword is from a repeatable Sky City quest reward. This sword looks exactly like the Rancor.

Rune Gaia Sword
Level 56
5 Slots, 42 base stats
ATK Power: 156 – 173
This sword drops from bosses in Cryptic Throne, which opens only after killing Freezing Mirage dragon. They spawn only once a week.

Beriunse
Level 59
5 Slots, 48 base stats
ATK Power: 178 – 197
This sword drops from Cryptic the Immortal Dragon which requires that you kill Freezing Mirage Dragon to open Cryptic Throne, and then kill all the bosses including the Cryptic One inside to get to CTI. If it was a main weapon I would go on about how it’s potentially the best sword in the game but for an archer who really cares?

HUNTER ARMOR GUIDE:
Index Code: [XHAMR]

Here is a list of all the armor available for Hunters.

With the exception of the lvl 55-58 Teneran set, hunter mufflers give +STR stats, walkers give +LUC, leggings give +DEX, and protectors give +DEX. This only applies to slotted versions, the plain versions do not give extra stats. Noble gives +1 stat, worship gives +2, heroic gives +3, dread +5, Legendary +6, goddess +7 base stats.

Pelt Armor
Mufflers level 2, Walkers level 3, Leggings level 4, Protector level 5
Plain and Noble versions
The Noble version of this armor is a quest reward. Most people probably skip this set altogether. It’s likely by the time you acquire all the pieces that you will be high enough level to wear the next set anyway. It’s definitely not worth putting lapis in unless you are rich and bored and do it for kicks.

Brutal Armor
Mufflers level 8, Walkers level 9, Leggings level 10, Protector level 11
Plain and Noble versions
This armor is also a quest reward. The Noble version of the boots, pants, and top are the best ones available for PvPing in the 1-15 zone.

Hive Armor
Mufflers level 15, Walkers level 16, Leggings level 17, Protector level 18
Plain and Noble versions
This armor is a quest reward. The Noble version of the gauntlets are the best ones available for PvPing in the 1-15 zone. They are from a quest and can also be purchased in a guild house that has been upgraded.

Lusco Armor
Mufflers level 22, Walkers level 23, Leggings level 24, Protector level 25
Plain, Worship, and Heroic versions
The Worship and Heroic versions of this armor drop from Kargos, the mini boss of Argilla Ruin on map 1. He has a spawn time of 30 minutes after he is killed. They also drop from the boss of Argilla Ruin, Knight who has a spawn time of about 1 hour 15 minutes. The Heroic protector and leggings are the best ones available for PvPing in the 20-30 zone.

Terron Armor
Mufflers level 29, Walkers level 30, Leggings level 31, Protector level 32
Plain, Worship, Heroic, Dread, and Legendary versions
The dread version of this armor is from a series of quests for Hard mode and Ultimate mode characters. The dread mufflers and walkers are the best ones available for PvPing in the 20-30 zone. I believe the Worship version drops from the weaker mobs in Kalamus’s House dungeon. Heroic I think drops from the boss of Maze of Rapioru dungeon in the 20-30 PvP zone, Duplicate Rapioru.

Ysilom Armor
Mufflers level 36, Walkers level 37, Leggings level 38, Protector level 39
Plain, Heroic, and Dread versions
Da na Na na Na na Na na Batman! Actually if you wore Trompe top and pants with these gloves and the 54 cape you really would be ripping off the dark knight. The dread version of this armor is very rare. I believe it drops from the boss of Kalamus’s House dungeon, Elkid. The heroic version drops from the mobs deeper in Kalamus’s House.

Trompe Armor
Mufflers NA, Walkers NA, Leggings level 40, Protector level 40
Two Slot version only
This is an alternate armor version of the Ysilom armor. It looks the same except it’s black instead of navy. There are only protector and leggings, no mufflers or walkers. It drops from the mini boss room mobs in Adion Neckria dungeon and Fantasma’s Lair as well. I’m not certain what kind of mobs these are. On lightside they were Generals and Asmodious Incarnations.

Tatoram Armor
Mufflers level 43, Walkers level 44, Leggings level 45, Protector level 46
Plain, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
I believe the heroic version of this drops from normal mobs inside Adion Neckria dungeon. The dread drops from the mini bosses and boss of Adion Neckria. For Goddess/Legendary see below.

Legendary Tatoram Armor
Mufflers level 43, Walkers level 44, Leggings level 45, Protector level 46
The Legendary version of this armor drops from the boss of Adion Neckria dungeon, Astaroth. As far as i know only the protector and leggings exist. There have been rumors that the chests from Haruhion Dragon boss may drop the mufflers and walkers but i can’t confirm that. There are level 45 mufflers from the lvl 43 epic quest that look just like Legendary Tatoram does. Don’t be fooled though, if you see someone with these they are 99.9% likely the quest mufflers, not legendary tatoram.

Goddess Tatoram Armor
Mufflers level 43, Walkers level 44, Leggings level 45, Protector level 46
The Goddess version of this armor drops from the dragon form of the Haruhion boss. I do not think the mufflers or walkers drop in US servers.

Python Armor
Mufflers level 50, Walkers level 51, Leggings level 52, Protector level 53
Plain, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
The Heroic version drops from mobs in Rubber Chaos as well as Fantasma’s Lair. The Dread drops from mini bosses in Fantasma’s Lair, and also from mobs inside Aurizen Ruin. For Legendary/Goddess see below.

Legendary Python Armor
Mufflers level 50, Walkers level 51, Leggings level 52, Protector level 53
The mufflers I believe drop from Astaroth, the boss of Adion Neckria dungeon; the walkers may as well, I’m not sure. The protector and leggings I believe only drop from the Fantasma Troll (mini boss of Fantasma’s lair) and the chests that drop after the Fantasma dragon or Haruhion dragon die.

Goddess Python Armor
Mufflers level 50, Walkers level 51, Leggings level 52, Protector level 53
This drops from the bosses inside Cryptic Throne dungeon. This is technically the best armor currently available for UM hunters since it has an extra slot over the “Legendary” Teneran. In my opinion this is one of the few armor sets that actually looks cool. It is also definitely the best in appearance in my view.

Teneran Armor
Mufflers level 55, Walkers level 56, Leggings level 57, Protector level 58
Noble, Dread, and Legendary versions
I know the walkers and mufflers drop from the scorpion mobs in the Deep Desert. I believe they also drop in the Jungle. The protector and leggings drop from bosses in the Deep Desert and Jungle as well. The Legendary leggings seem to be the most rare of this set. This is the highest level armor in the game, and for Hard mode or Normal mode characters it is the best set.

Future 60+ Armor
Mufflers level 60, Walkers level 61, Leggings level 62, Protector level 63
Foreshadowed to be called Commination Armor, this set is supposed to have 6 slots, be for UM only and drop from bosses that are of course not yet in the game.

HUNTER HELMS GUIDE:
Index Code: [XHHLM]

Military Cap – level 1. Looks like a blue beret or pilot cap and has one slot and base stats of +3 to all seven stats.

Leprechaun Hat – level 1. Has one slot and no base stats.

Pelt Cap – level 1. Has one slot and no stats. Looks like a Terron Cap.

Hive Cap – level 15. Has two slots and no stats. Looks like a Terron Cap.

Terron Cap – level 30. The plain version of this helm is from a quest that starts in Starfumos Vill. You have to collect 30 spirit cores to trade for this. There are also Dread versions which are from AP promos.

Ysilom Cap – level 37. The plain version of this helm is from a quest. You have to collect 30 mare cores to trade for it. There are also 4 slot versions, not “Dread”, of this cap from AP promos.

Tatoram Cap – level 44. The plain version of this helm is from a quest that starts in Arena Stronghold. You have to collect 30 Pint Cores and trade for it. There are also 5 slot versions of this cap, they are not “Legendary”.

Python Cap – level 51. The plain version of this helm is from a quest that starts in Iris. You have to collect 15 Dark Mages Stones and 3 Endure lvl 3 Lapis to trade for it. There were also AP raffles for Legendary and Goddess versions of this cap. However, nobody who won the goddess raffle chose the Python cap so none exist on any of the US servers at this time. As far as the Legendary raffle, there were 12 winners and of those we know 8 people did not chose Python. The other 4 we do not know what they picked as they either made their request via ticket or did not claim their prize at all. So there “could” be up to 4 Legendary Python caps on the US servers. It is unlikely, but it’s possible there are a few.

HUNTER CAPES GUIDE:
Index Code: [XHCPE]

Fighting Mantle – must be level 16 or higher to wear, gives no stat bonus. I do not know if this looks the same as the lightside version. My guess is that it does. But there are very few in existence. They are no longer available and in all honestly that makes it somewhat arbitrary to even mention them.

Lvl 31 NM capes – must be level 31 or higher to wear, gives + 11 to one stat. There are versions for every stat category, each one a different color. All buyable from NPC merchant in Iris for 40 million gold.

Lvl 44 NM Capes – must be level 44 or higher to wear, gives + 13 to one stat. They look exactly like the lvl 31 capes except since you can’t buy them from the NPC merchants, they are only available in STR, DEX, and LUC versions from other players.

Lvl 52 NM Capes – must be level 52 or higher to wear, gives + 17 to one stat. There is a DEX and a LUC version and possibly a STR version as well, each one a different color.

Cape of the Fierce – must be level 33 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 11 LUC and 11 DEX.

Cape of the Beast – must be level 41 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 13 LUC and 13 DEX.

Zubelyou Long Cape – must be level 48 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 16 LUC and 16 DEX.

Bestong Long Cape – must be level 54 or higher and HM or UM to wear, gives + 18 LUC and 18 DEX.

HUNTER MOUNTS GUIDE:
Index Code: [XHMNT]

There are seven different mounts that hunters can ride. HUNTER BOWS GUIDE:
Index Code: [XHBOW]

Hunters can choose from three weapons: Bows, Javelins, and Dual Axes. Depending on what you have equipped, the skills you can use, as well as how your stats effect you change. (LUC adds shooting ATK, which doesn’t apply to axes. But axes get 1.3 ATK for every 1 STR, which doesn’t apply to bows.)

Normal bows are certainly the most popular hunter weapon. They attack faster than most javelins, and lets face it, hunters are not really meant to use axes as a main weapon. As far as base stats go, Noble weapons give 6 spread across 1-3 different stat categories, Worship gives 12, Heroic 18, Dread 24, Legendary 30, Goddess 36.

Short Arch
Level 1
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 17 – 22
You start with this bow in your hand. It also drops from the first mobs outside the starting cities.

Long Arch
Level 7
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 23 – 30
I believe the noble version is from a quest, the plain version drops from outside world mobs around map 1.

Composite Arch
Level 13
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 31 – 41
The Noble version of this bow is from a quest. It’s the best weapon for use in the 1-15 pvp zone.

Battle Arch
Level 19
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 41 – 54
The Noble version drops inside Argilla Ruin.

Barrage Fire
Level 25
+12 DEX +20 LUC
ATK Power: 67 – 88
This is the reward for the level 25 Epic quest which starts in Starfumos. It has no slots but has base stats of 12 DEX and 20 LUC.

Siege Arch
Level 25
Plain, Worship, Heroic versions
ATK Power: 53 – 70
The worship and heroic versions of this bow drop from Kargos and Knight, the mini boss and boss of Argilla Ruin. The heroic version is the best bow for 20-30 PvP.

Celestial Cannon
Level 31
Plain, Worship, Heroic versions
ATK Power: 67 – 88
The Worship and Heroic versions I believe drop from the boss of Maze of Rapioru dungeon in the 20-30 PvP zone, Duplicate Rapioru.

Demonic Arch
Level 37
Plain, Heroic, Dread versions
ATK Power: 83 – 108
The heroic version I believe drops from beginning mobs inside Aidion Neckria dungeon. The Dread version I believe drops from the Kalamus’s House boss, Elkid.

Sweet Arch
Level 40
2 Slots, 23 base stats (8 STR, 12 DEX, 3 LUC)
ATK Power: 92 – 132
This is the weapon equivalent of Trompe armor. It has only 2 slots and drops from the Aidion Neckria dungeon mini boss room mobs as well as the Fantasma’s lair “mini boss” type mobs.

Green Arch
Level 41
4 Slots, 38 base stats
ATK Power: 91 – 143
This weapon is a Lanhaarr drop. They are no longer limited by quantity and drop from the lower level Lanhaarr mobs.

Chaos Core
Level 43
Plain, Heroic, Dread versions
ATK Power: 101 – 132
The heroic likely drops from mobs inside Fantasma’s Lair. The Dread probably drops from the FL “mini boss” type mobs.

Golden Tree Core
Level 47
4 Slots, 43 base stats
ATK Power: 111 – 173
This weapon is a Lanhaarr drop. They are no longer limited by quantity and drop from the highest level Lanhaarr mobs.

Angolmois
Level 49
Plain, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 120 – 158
Heroic version drops in Fantasma’s Lair from normal mobs. Dread version drops from the mobs in the Fantasma Troll room. Legendary version drops from Fantasma Troll and Fantasma dragon chests as well as Astaroth, the boss of Adion Neckria. Goddess version drops from Haruhion dragon.

Croker More
Level 53
4 slots, 47 base stats
ATK Power: 132 – 206
This bow drops from Fantasma Dragon only. He spawns 3 days after he is killed. This is one of the best bows in the game currently because of the ability to enchant it. Goddess Yucon’s Scare is slightly better if you’re the picky type.

Yucon’s Scare
Level 54
Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 128 – 176
This bow is from a repeatable Sky City quest reward. The Goddess version is potentially the best normal bow in the game due to the ability to enchant it. It all depends on the lapis used to determine how much better this bow is over a Croker More. Best case scenario would only be about 26 stat points better.

Darkness Finger
Level 55
3 Slots, 18 base stats (+9 DEX +9 STR, +385 SP)
ATK Power: 168 – 187
Drops from Rubber Chaos bosses and also from Fantasma Troll. Honestly it’s not really better than a well lapised Legendary Angolmois. for an NM archer though it may be the best bow that is affordable and easy enough to acquire. It should look the same as an Angolmois that glows orange (like a Goddess Angolmois) though I cannot confirm that.

Arkainer
Level 56
5 Slots, 42 base stats
ATK Power: 146 – 191
This bow drops from bosses in Cryptic Throne, which opens only after killing Haruhion dragon. They spawn only once a week.

Follushe Ark
Level 59
5 Slots, 48 base stats
ATK Power: 158 – 206
This bow drops from Cryptic the Immortal Dragon which requires that you kill Haruhion to open Cryptic Throne, and then kill all the bosses including the Cryptic One inside to get to CTI.

HUNTER JAVELINS GUIDE:
Index Code: [XHJAV]

Hunters can choose from three weapons: Bows, Javelins, and Dual Axes. Depending on what you have equipped, the skills you can use, as well as how your stats effect you change. (LUC adds shooting ATK, which doesn’t apply to axes. But axes get 1.3 ATK for every 1 STR, which doesn’t apply to bows.)

At lower levels a javelin is typically not used. At higher level you can get many javelins that have increased attack speed and you get 3 speed increases from skills. This makes javelin a valid choice. I’ve already compared the weapon types at the beginning of this guide so here are the statistical information about all the javelins. As far as base stats go, Noble weapons give 6 spread across 1-3 different stat categories, Worship gives 12, Heroic 18, Dread 24, Legendary 30, Goddess 36.

Javelin
Level 1
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 25 – 35
The plain and Noble versions drop from mobs outside the starting city of Suteron.

Sharp Javelin
Level 8
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 36 – 50
I believe the noble version is from a quest, the plain version drops from outside world mobs around map 1.

Piercing Javelin
Level 14
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 49 – 68
If you choose to use a Javelin in 1-15 PvP this would be the best one available. The noble version is from a quest.

Rise Javelin
Level 20
Plain and Noble versions
ATK Power: 64 – 89
The Noble version drops inside Argilla Ruin.

Spectrum Javelin
Level 26
Plain, Worship, Heroic versions

The worship and heroic versions of this javelin drop from Kargos and Knight, the mini boss and boss of Argilla Ruin. The heroic version is the best javelin for 20-30 PvP.

Storm Javelin
Level 32
Plain, Worship, Heroic versions
ATK Power: 104 – 144
The Worship and Heroic versions I believe drop from the boss of Maze of Rapioru dungeon in the 20-30 PvP zone, Duplicate Rapioru.

Auric Acid
Level 38
Plain, Heroic, Dread versions
ATK Power: 129 – 177
The heroic version I believe drops from beginning mobs inside Aidion Neckria dungeon. The Dread version I believe drops from the Kalamus’s House boss, Elkid.

Pharos Pilum

4 Slots, 40 base stats
ATK Power: 141 – 237
This weapon is a Lanhaarr drop. They are no longer limited by quantity and drop from the lower level Lanhaarr mobs.

Plumbic Oxide
Level 44
Plain, Heroic, Dread versions
ATK Power: 156 – 215
The heroic likely drops from mobs inside Fantasma’s Lair. The Dread probably drops from the FL “mini boss” type mobs.

Nordein Flame Javelin
Level 45
Fire, +1 ATK Speed
ATK Power: 186 – 256
This is the reward for the level 43 Epic quest. It gives no base stats and has no slots, but it has an attacking speed one level faster than a normal javelin, and it is Fire elemental. This weapon is pretty good for the extra speed it has but since EP4’s elemental buffs it has lost some value since the element on it is not as significant. You can change the element of this javelin from a follow up quest and with that change the name and the color of the glow changes as well.

Palomby Spiculum
Level 48
4 Slots, 44 base stats
ATK Power: 171 – 291
This weapon is a Lanhaarr drop. They are no longer limited by quantity and drop from the highest level Lanhaarr mobs.

Level 50
Plain, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 186 – 256
Heroic version drops in Fantasma’s Lair from normal mobs. Dread version drops from the mobs in the Fantasma Troll room. Legendary version drops from Fantasma Troll and Fantasma dragon chests as well as Astaroth, the boss of Adion Neckria. Goddess version drops from Haruhion dragon.

Javelin of Death
Level 54
4 Slots, 36 base stats, +1 ATK Speed
ATK Power: 220 – 299
This is from a high level quest. Part of the quest requires that you collect drops that come from treasure chests that spawn after killing the big end game dragons Fantasma and Haruhion. Thus it is very difficult to complete. Getting a javelin from this quest seems to be a rare fluke though. Most people get Dual Axes. It is unknown if there is a way to purposely get this javelin every time.

Green Athena
Level 54
4 Slots, 48 base stats
ATK Power: 203 – 345
This javelin drops from Fantasma Dragon only. He spawns 3 days after he is killed. This is one of the best javelins in the game at the moment because of its ability to be enchanted. Technically the Goddess Arktis is a little better.

Arktis
Level 55
Plain, Heroic, Dread, Legendary, and Goddess versions
ATK Power: 199 – 288
This javelin is from a repeatable Sky City quest reward. It is statistically the best potential javelin in the game.

Drops from Rubber Chaos bosses and also from Fantasma Troll.

Varonas
Level 55

Drops from Rubber Chaos bosses and also from Fantasma Troll.

Dugas
Level 55

This javelin drops from bosses in Cryptic Throne, which opens only after killing Haruhion dragon. They spawn only once a week.

Divine Spirit
Level 59
5 Slots, 36 base stats
ATK Power: 236 – 326
This javelin drops from Cryptic the Immortal Dragon which requires that you kill Haruhion Dragon to open Cryptic Throne, and then kill all the bosses including the Cryptic One inside to get to CTI.

Artraiya Adein
Level 60
6 slots, 60 base stats, +1 ATK Speed
ATK power: 260 -350
This javelin has base stats of 20 STR 20 LUC 10 DEX 10 REC. This is the reward for a new Episode 4 quest that involves killing Cryptic the Immortal dragon. The nature of the quest means it’s going to be only for very few people who happen to be pretty important in the guild that is in the “power position” on the server they play on. If that’s not you then don’t count on ever getting this javelin.

HUNTER DUAL AXES GUIDE:
Index Code: [XHDAX]

Hunters can choose from three weapons: Bows, Javelins, and Dual Axes. Depending on what you have equipped, the skills you can use, as well as how your stats effect you change. (LUC adds shooting ATK, which doesn’t apply to axes. But axes get 1.3 ATK for every 1 STR, which doesn’t apply to bows.)

Axes are not going to be your main weapon type. They attack too slow and you barely get any skills to use with them and the few you get are not all that great. Nevertheless here is the information for all the dual axes.

Actually there is one valid reason to have dual axes on hand. During monster spawn events usually boxes or pigs are spawned that are resistant to range attacks so you cannot hit them with a bow or javelin. That would be the time to whip out the axes and start swinging. But there are virtually no skills usable with axes and you don’t get any speed upgrades, and using axes means you will be in close combat with your target and thus taking much more damage than a normal bow/javelin wielding hunter.

As far as base stats go, Noble weapons give 6 spread across 1-3 different stat categories, Worship gives 12, Heroic 18, Dread 24, Legendary 30, Goddess 36.
