Lucent Heart Zodiac Skills Guide by Vollencia
A one-stop guide to the signs, based on the Zodiac skills they get at levels 15 and 35.
There are sometimes two names given for a skill on the site and I give them both here, because I don’t know what they’re going to be called in the game itself.
The commentary is just my opinion based on what the skills are. Please make your own decisions about how useful the skills would be for any particular class. I just thought it might be useful to have these skills collected in one place for easy comparison. Hope it helps someone. :-)
15–Heroic: Activate [Heroism] for the next 30 seconds. Critical Hit Damage is increased by 100%, but damage taken from Critical Hits increases by 150%.
35–Outburst: [Aries Overload]: For the duration of this skill attack and casting speed is increased by 100% and movement speed by 200 points. Aries Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
Sounds like it’s good for stealth classes. Additional critical hit damage taken doesn’t matter if nothing can hit you! Also, might be good for ranged/magic classes, especially those who like to kite.
15–Capable Investor: Acquire [Capable Investor]; consume 30% of HP and MP; and then recover 60% of HP and MP within 30 seconds.
35–Long Endurance: [Taurus Endurance]: Restores HP and MP by 2000 points over a thirty-second period of time. Taurus Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
The site suggests this for support, though it also says this Zodiac armor is good for tanking.
15–Active: Acquire [Active]; increase movement speed by 135 points for the next 30 seconds, but HP and MP will not recover automatically.
35–Overactive Child: [Gemini Blink]: Instantly moves the Gemini to a targeted location within 20 meters. Gemini Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
Site suggests support but that this sign is suited to all classes. To me, it again sound like it would be best for steatlh class or healers, who might have to get out of the way really fast.
15–Keeping Cool: Acquire [Keeping Cool]; for the next 30 seconds, increase physical, earth and water defense by 20000 points, but attack and casting speed will be reduced by 100%.
35–Self-Protective Instinct: Acquire sign-unique power [Cancer Resilience]. Once Cancer Combat Gear is equipped, this skill will be activated automatically. [Cancer Resilience]: Critical hits will not cause damage.
Okay, pretty obviously a great choice for tanks, especially in parties, but could also be used by players not concerned with maximizing damage but increasing their own survivability, especially when soloing.
15–Striving to Save Face: Acquire [Striving to Save Face]; for the next 30 seconds, increase physical, fire and air defense by 20000 points, but HP and MP will be reduced by 1% per second.
35–King’s Style: Acquire sign-unique power [Flame of Leo]. This skill can be selected from the list of Combat Skills. [Flame of Leo]: Cause 425 points of fire damage to all enemies within a radius of 15 meters. Leo Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
Site says this can be used for off-tanking, and it sounds like it’s good for offensive melee classes that wear heavy armor.
15–Nitpick: Acquire [Nitpick]; for the next 30 seconds, increase the critical hit chance for all attacks by 75% except fire spells, but attack and casting speed will be reduced by 100%.
35–Nitpicking: [Virgo’s Attention To Detail]: Increases Critical Hit Damage to a designated target by 250%. Virgo Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
Sounds like some magic classes could use this. Good for any class specializing in crits, obviously, especially one with high attack speed to the debuff doesn’t hurt too much.
15–Dislike Fighting: Acquire [Dislike fighting]; for the next 30 seconds, increase physical, fire and air defense by 20000 points, but critical hit damage will be reduced by 100%.
35–The Space of Love and Beauty: [Libra Peacekeeper]: For the duration of this skill, the caster and all creatures within a radius of 15 meters are unable to use any hostile skills. Libra Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
Defensive classes, though I’m wondering about the description for Peacekeeper. I’m guessing that it means mobs, not all the players in your party won’t be able to use skills, so just regular hits from mobs. Could be very useful if effective on bosses. Wish it listed the duration/cooldown here to know just how useful. Anyone have more info on this skill? Could make it as good as Cancer for tanks.
15–Calculating: Acquire [Calculating]; for the next 30 seconds, increase critical hit damage by 100%, but the chance of being critically hit will also increase 30%.
35–Fatal Attack Power: [Scorpio’s Vengeance]: Reduces the movement speed of a designated target by 100 points and reduces their HP by 6% every 6 seconds. You have to equip the Scorpio Combat Gear to use this skill.
Again, stealth players with high crit rate. The DoT skill is interesting, could be useful for ranged attackers, I think.
15–Overdoing: Acquire [Overdoing]; for the next 30 seconds, increase attack and casting speed by 75%, but HP and MP will be reduced by 1% per second.
35–Explosive Power: [Sagittarius’ Explosive Power]: Causes your next attack to be a critical hit. Individuals born under the sign Sagittarius Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
Looks like ranged/magic classes would like this sign. I can see some crazy caster who deals heavy damage out there using 5-6 skills in a row, really fast, and being able to insure one is a crit is just icing on the cake. This could also be good for offensive melee. Zerks love hitting things hard and fast, and they love crits. Want to up your damage, this is the way to go.
15–Frequent Exhaustion: [Frequent exhaustion]; Instantly recovers 50% of HP and MP, but HP and MP will not recover automatically in the next 10 minutes.
35–Aim for Perfection: [Aim for Perfection]: Increases the critical hit damage of all your attacks by 100%.
Again, I don’t quite understand the description for the second skill. All attacks? How can that be? Should it read “increases critical damage by 100%?” I don’t know, but if that’s the case, then this is a good one for the high critical rate classes.
15–Unrestrained: Acquire [Unrestrained]; instantly remove an ongoing effect which would otherwise restrict your mobility or reduce your movement speed.
35–Overwhelming Charisma: [Aquarius Charisma]: Extract 125 HP from a maximum of 8 enemies within a radius of 12 meters. Aquarius Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
Aagain, not sure about the second skill. It might mean damage, but it says “extract.” Does that mean 125 is taken from up to 8 mobs and transferred to you? That’s my guess, anyway. The site mentions Machinists in the description. Between the first skill and second (if it means what I think it means), sounds like a good sign for those who are getting ganked but have enough HP to survive while they run away.
15–At Peace With the World: Acquire [At Peace With The World]; for the next 30 seconds, increase evasive rate by 50% and reduce hostility towards NPCs by 50%.
35–[Pisces Escape Mechanism]: Separate yourself from reality in order to increase you movement speed by 150 points, upgrade your next attack to a critical hit and render you harmless against any attack on you. But once you start attacking others, you’ll be drawn back to reality. Pisces Combat Gear must be equipped to use this skill.
The site suggests support, and I see how that could be useful for healers, especially the aggro reduction. I’m wondering if this is a good sign for PvP, but I don’t know the extent of PvP in this game, so I’ll leave that call up to you. Of course, anything that increases evasion and speed is, in my opinion, good for a stealth class.
