1. Getting Started

1a.Q. How Do I Make an Account?

A. To make an account for Eden Eternal, you must sign up with Aeria Games by clicking on the sign up button on the top right part of your webpage. This will then ask for things such as a Username and Password, along with a E-mail and Date of Birth. Once you follow the rest of the instructions recieved in an E-mail you can now not only play Eden Eternal and also many of Aeria Games’s titles.

1b.Q. How do I download Eden Eternal?

A. To download Eden Eternal simply click on the download button on the Eden Eternal homepage. Either click on the big green download button or choose one of the mirrors to download the game from.

1c.Q. What are System Requirements for Eden Eternal?

A. Minimum requirements can be found here.

1d.Q. How do I log in?

A. Once you have finished downloading and installing Eden Eternal you will see a shortcut icon on your desktop labeled Eden Eternal. Double clicking on this will bring up your launcher, from your launcher you can edit ingame options such as graphics and sound via the “Option” button. If you are having an error ingame you can click the “Full Scan” button and it will check for missing and or corrupt files in your install. To start the game click “Start Game”. Once your game loads you will be taken to a screen that asks for an Account and a Password. These are the same Account name and Password as your Aeria Games account. Once you have inputed a Username and Password you will be brought to the Server/Channel Selection Screen.

2. Character Creation

2a.Q. What Server and Channel do I Choose?

A. The server you choose does not matter unless you wish to play with a friend. If you wish to play together with a friend you must make sure you both chose the same server. A channel is a different instance of the server. There are multiple channels for every server. The channel you choose depends how many people you wish to play with or what channel your friends have joined. If you are playing alone and want a busy channel join a channel with a red diamond. If you want a quiet non populated channel join one with a blue diamond. Yellow diamonds indicate a server with a normal or moderate amount of players.

2b.Q. How do I choose How My Character Looks?

A. When in the character creation screen on the top right hand side there is a box starting with your selected server and channel. As you go down the box you can see different choices such as Face, Hair, Color, Skin, and Eyes. To change these setting you click the left and right arrows next to that choice. Note there is also a random button underneath your choices.

2c.Q. What Class Should I Choose?

A. When you first start out in Eden Eternal you have the choice between two main classes. Either the Warrior who primarily uses close quarter weapons or the Magician who uses spells to defeat their enemies. Note that once you chose either of these starting classes or any of the later classes you can change it at whim should you decide you do not like the one you have chosen.

2d.Q. What Heroic Trait Should I Choose?

A. There are eight different Heroic traits that you can choose from. Each of them gives your character a permanent bonus for your character. Some traits are geared towards different group role you may find yourself in. Such as the Guardian Heroic Trait for example. The Guardian Heroic trait gives the player a +10% Defense and a +5% Resistance to all Elemental attacks. Such a trait would be more suited for a character taking a lot of damage or a “Tank” as it is more commonly known. These Traits and Roles will be explained more indepth later on in the guide.

3. Quests and Leveling Up

3a.Q. How do I Obtain a Quest?

A. Quests are obtained in many different ways and can be different themselves. Quests can be obtained from NPC’s with ! over their head. Note that a Yellow ! is a Story Quests, while the Blue ! are Repeatable Quests. Quests can also be obtained by books found from either the Grocery Merchant found in all towns or Book Merchant Trebek in Aven. The are also guild quests which give your guild Fame which helps it level up. And lastly Dungeon quests which require a group to complete.

3b.Q. How do I Turn in a Quest?

A. You can turn in a quest by right clicking a NPC with a “?” over their head. Note that if the “?” is in Grey this means that the quest is unfinished, if the “?” is in yellow this means that it is a Story Quest turn in, and if the “?” is blues this means that is it a Repeatable Quest turn in.

3c.Q. How Do I Use/Start a Book Quest?

A. After obtaining a Book from either a Grocery Merchant or Trebek the Book Merchant, you right click on the book in your inventory to start it. Once you complete the quest given to you by the book you right click it again to complete it. Note that most books have multiple parts to quests that require you to right click the book again after turning in part of the quest.

3d.S. I Cannot Figure out Where I am Suppose to go for My Quest.

A. If you cannot figure our where you are suppose to go from the quest log/description you can right click on the words in white in your active quest box on the right hand side of your screen (default). If the objective is within walking distance (A.K.A. Not in Aven or another instance) your character will autowalk themselves to the recommended area for that quest. Note that if you are trying to get to a person it will automatically start talking with them once you get there.

3e.Q. What is my Character Level?

A. Your character level is your overall level as a player. You gain Character EXP when you turn in quests. Your character level determines the level that your Regular Skills can be. Your regular skills may be different from class to class. When you gain Character Levels you also can unlock more Classes to play. This will be explained more indepth later on in the guide.

3f.Q. What is My Class Level?

A. Your Class level is your overall level as a certain class such as the Warrior or Magician mentioned earlier in the guide. You gain Class EXP when you kill monsters in the world. As you level your class up you can gain specific class skills that are just for that class. To level up these class skills you must spend CP or Class Points which are also obtained by killing monsters in the world.

3g.Q. What are Class Talents?

A. Class Talents are specific talents you can earn by spending Knowledge points to obtain ranks in them. Different Talents do different things. For example the Combat Knowledge Talent in the Knight Class Talent tree give the used +1% STR for every Knowledge Point in the Talent.

3h.Q. What are Knowledge Points? And what do I do with them?

A. Knowledge points are earned by leveling up specific Classes. When you level up in a class you gain 1 Knowledge point. This knowledge point are applied to specific class talents. Note that after level 5 in any class talent it requires 2 knowledge points to level up 1 rank.

3i.Q. What are Certificates?

A. Certificates are gained by reaching certain class levels. Your character level determines how many certificates you can equip at once. Different certificates do different things, such as Taunt I. Taunt I increases your malice caused by an attack by +5%. Note that also when you equip a certain number of certificates you also gain special bonuses which can be seen on the smaller squares in between the places for the certificates.

3j.Q. Why is My Class XP Maxed at 100%?

A. Your Class level cannot exceed your Character XP.

3k.Q. How does the Class System work in Eden Eternal?

A. The Class system in Eden Eternal is fairly unique in the fact that you are not tied down to only one class. You start with both the Warrior Class, and the Magician. And as you progress through their levels you also unlock more Classes such as the Cleric and the Hunter.

Here is a list of the different classes and their requirements:

Cleric: Character Level 5
Hunter: Character Level 10
Thief: Character Level 15
Bard: Character Level 20
Knight: Character Level 25, Warrior Level 20
Engineer: Character Level 30, Hunter Level 25
Illusionist: Character Level 35, Magician Level 30
Martial Artist: Character Level 40, Thief Level 35
Shaman: Character Level 45, Cleric Level 40
Blade Dancer: Character Level 50, Bard Level 45
Warlock: Character Level 55, Magician Level 50, Shaman Level 50
Templar: Character Level 60, Knight Level 55, Cleric Level 55
Ranger: Character Level 65, Hunter Level 60, Martial Artist Level 60

3l.Q. What is the difference between INT? (Intelligence) and WIS? (Wisdom)

A. Intelligence effects your M-ATK or Magic Attack and therefore is used for Magicians and Bards going DPS. Where Wisdom effects G-Healing or General Healing and P-Healing or Personal Healing. Therefore Wisdom is used for Clerics and Bards going Heal/buffs.

4. Guilds

4a.Q. How do I make a Guild?

A. In order to make a guild one must meet the following requirements:

Step 1 is getting to Aven and talking to Heldin

1. The applying character must be level 20.
2. The applying character must have more than 50 gold.
3. The applying character isn’t in any other guild.

4b.Q. How do I Level up my Guild?

A. You can level up your guild by having your guild participate in guild quests. Note that this is the only way to gain guild fame, which is how you level up as a guild.

4c.Q. Where do I get Guild Quests?

A. Guild quests can be obtained in Aven by talking to Guild Quest Officer Kaiser. From there you can buy any of the books he has for the guild quests. Note that they are marked with their recommended level on them.

4d.Q. What is a Guild Town?

A. A guild town is found in what is called the Eden Eternal. And can you can be taken there by pressing the “G” key and clicking on Find Town. Once there you can select another guild’s town or your own guild’s town by clicking on their name and clicking enter. Guild towns to a lot of things for your guild including adding special merchants who sell things only found in Guild Towns. Note that if a player buys from a guild town that is not their own they may be charged a tax!

4e.Q. How do I make a Guild Town?

A. In order to create a Guild Town the following are required:

1. The applicant is a Guild Leader.
2. The applicants level is above 30.
3. The guild’s level is above 3.
4. The guild has more than 30 members.
5. The guild does not already have a town.

Special Rules:
If current towns are below 50, 500 Gold is needed to found the guild town.

If current towns are above 50, 10000 Gold is needed to found the guild town.

5.The City of Aven

5a.Q. What is Aven?

A. Aven is the main city in Eden Eternal. There you can access many of the games features such as the crafting system, the bank system, the Auction House, Guild creation and quests, and the Love system.

5b.Q. How do I get to Aven?

A. Starting in Limestone Mtn. you can travel to the hot air baloon marked on your map as Warp. from there, for 1 Silver, you can transport yourself to Aven.

6. General Questions

6a.Q. What level do I get a mount?

A. The quest, Alpaca’s Friends, is obtained at level 25, but must be level 30 to complete. At the completion of this quest the player obtains an Alpaca. Alternatively a mount can be purchased from the Item Shop and used at any level.

6b.Q. How do I speak in world chat?

A. You must obtain a World Call for 25AP* in the Item Shop. 1 World Call is good for one time use only.

6c.Q. Will Closed Beta characters be whiped?

A. Yes Closed Beta characters will be whiped before Open Beta.

6d.Q. If my characters are being removed why should I play Closed Beta?

A. Well for starters being in the closed beta gives you not only ample knowledge of the game but it also allows you to help the Game Sages and the Game Masters know more about the game such as; bugs, level statistics, glitches, broken quests, broken items, and much more!

6e.Q. What are Portal Stones for? And how do I get them?

A. Portal Stones are a Cash Shop item that allows the user to port back to an NPC to turn in a quest instead of having to walk back to them. You can obtain them in the cash shop for 25 AP.

6f.Q. How do I obtain a helmet?

A. Helmets can be obtained like any other item by drop off of monster.

6g.Q. How Can I See/Hide my Helmet?

A. After obtaining a helmet you can click the Blue Diamond in the character screen next to the helmet to toggle Show/Hide helmet.

6h. What do all the Different Buttons on my Screen do? Part I Minimap

A. Starting from the top left (the post card) and going clockwise.

Postcard: Ingame Mail
Plus: Zoom in Minimap
Minus: Zoom out Minimap
Globe: Opens regional map and says Server and Channel
Portrait: Unknown or Coming Soon
Paper with Recycle Symbol: Fusion, allows the combination of items such as maps
Hammer: Fortify Equipment, allows you to use items like Guard Scrolls to upgrade equipment
Picture Frame: Unknown or Coming Soon
Sword: Unknown or Coming Soon
Graph: Unknown or Coming Soon
Chest: Archive, allows you to save rare items
Crown: Achievements, list all achievements collected
Smiley Face: Fame, lists all fame you have earned
Cross: Titles, Lists all of your gained titles

A. Starting with the big left button then going top row to bottom row.

Diamond Button: Search Party, Shortcut “J”. Allows you to search for a party to do quests and dungeons with
Smiley Face: Character, Shortcut “C”. Displays your character info
Bag: Backpack, Shortcut “B”. Opens your inventory
Book: Quest Log, Shortcut “L”. Displays current and possible quests
Two People: Community, Shortcut “O”. Displays Friends List, Search for people, and your Couple
Sword and Shield: Class, Shortcut “K”. Displays your class information, and allows you to change classes
Castle: Guild, Shortcut “G”. Displays your guild information and allows you to look up guild towns
Airship: Item Mall, Shortcut “I”. Opens Item Mall, where you can spend AP for premium items
Gear: Main Menu, Shortcut “Esc”. Opens the Main Menu where you can alter Settings, Reset your UI, Change your Channel, Logout, and exit the game.
