Translation: Seikima II – Stainless Night

II – Stainless Night
Seikima II / Seikimatsu – Stainless Night

Words by: デーモン小暮 Music by:エース清水 Arranged by: 聖飢魔II

secretly time had escaped from this technopolis
in my forgotten dreams i noticed, its still throbbing
the blue sky i saw couldn’t tell me where i had to go oh

Stainless night
Stainless night
—————–
Stainless night the androids who took away my soul
Stainless night the night my hands seek to gather the sadness

even the pieces of my crumbling heart are scattered and swept away
the streets are not even a little rusty, they only glitter
the stars adorn the skyscrapers with the scientists affection oh

Cry out!
—————
Stainless night you androids who have lost your souls Cry out!

to the rhythm of the clock in this digital forest oh

Stainless night
Stainless night
Cry out!
———–
Stainless night the androids who took away my soul
Stainless night the night my hands seek to gather the sadness
Stainless night you androids who have lost your souls Cry out

I’m pretty sure the first line in the chorus is wrong. SInce is “ubau” is in its passive form it should be: “The androids have had their souls stolen”.

  2. mm it’s really up to you to make the sentence longer =] since the main meaning is really just that. maybe..
The many androids who have taken my soul so far away

there are no strict rules for translating, especially if you want to sing it. cheers! =]

im trying to figure out how to make an english version but its so hard when the first line of the chorus has 19 syllables and in english it only has 8.
