WoW Cheap Heirlooms Guide

WoW Cheap Heirlooms Guide by FlamingSwaggot

Who the hell’s got the wallet to buy every single last heirloom and upgrade it to 100? Or upgrade an heirloom bow that you’re going to use on literally one character? This is the least wasteful set of heirloom purchases possible. Gold costs included!

Let’s start off with weapons. You really don’t need to upgrade the gun because I figure nobody is going to level more than one hunter. If for whatever crazy reason you want to level a couple hunters, just add 2k to the final cost.

Class Weapon Cost (1-90) Cost (90-100)
DK, Warrior, Paladin Bloodied Arcanite Reaper 2.95k 5k
Warlock, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Druid, Monk Dignified Headmaster’s Charge 2.95k 5k
Rogue, Monk, Shaman Venerable Mass of McGowan 2.85k 5k
Hunter Upgraded Dwarven Hand Cannon 1-90, Shrediron’s Shredder 91-100 2.95k ~3k

Alright, now that you’re done with buying the weapons, it’s time to buy some necklaces.

Class Necklace Cost (1-90) Cost (90-100)
DK, Warrior, Paladin Eternal Emberfury Talisman 1.7k 2k
Warlock, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Druid, Monk Eternal Horizon Choker 1.7k 2k
Rogue, Monk, Shaman, Hunter, Druid Eternal Will of the Martyr 1.7k 2k

This is completely unnecessary and doesn’t really help your leveling time but many people choose to buy trinkets, so I’ll include them too for the sake of completeness.

Class Trinkets Cost (1-90) Cost (90-100)
All intellect users (OPTIONAL) Discerning Eye of the Beast 1.7k 2k
All non-intellect users (OPTIONAL) Swift Eye of the Beast 1.7k 2k

Finally, let’s buy some armor. The shoulders and chestpieces are purchasable from Krom and Estelle, but you’ll have to head to the guild vendors to purchase the cloak, helm, and pants.

Class Armor Cost (1-90) Cost (90-100)
DK, Warrior, Paladin Strength Plate (Polished x of Valor, with the exception of Burnished Helm of Might instead of the Helm of Valor) and Worn Stoneskin Gargoyle Cape 7.5k 10k
Druid, Monk, Hunter, Rogue, Shaman Agility Leather (Stained Shadowcraft x) and Inherited Cape of the Black Baron 7.5k 10k
Mage, Warlock, Priest, Paladin, Shaman, Monk, Druid Int Cloth (Tattered Dreadmist x) and Ancient Bloodmoon Cape 7.5k 10k

Alright, now here’s the totals you’ll have to spend!

Set Cost
No trinkets (1-90) 39.3k
With trinkets (1-90) 42.7k
No trinkets (90-100) 54k
With trinkets (90-100) 58k
No trinkets (1-100) 93.3k
With trinkets (1-100) 100.7k

Not too expensive at all, right?
