Aura Kingdom Eidolons Guide

Aura Kingdom Eidolons Guide by DarylValentine

My name is Uzuriel, although some call me the Heavenly Defender. As the messenger of Gaia, descended from the great light above that is the Aura Kingdom, it’s my job to lead you Envoys to the great power held within the Keys of Gaia. Within this guide you’ll find many ways to meet the powerful and mythical Eidolons, unstoppable beings who will lead you to victory against the forces of the Shadow Knight.

Available Eidolons

In the world of Azuria, you may find Eidolons and their Keys of Gaia in many different places.

Here’s a spreadsheet containing all released Eidolons and methods used to get them.

There are also some elusive Eidolons that don’t appear in-game and must be found through either Fortune Bags, the Paragon Table or the Item Mall:

Cleopawtra
Shirayuki
Kaiser Zeta
Alucard
Kusanagi

And recently, a new Eidolon has appeared, making a name for herself in Aura Kingdom. Who knows where she’ll make her first appearance in Azuria?

Athena

There’s also a spreadsheet located *here* which has a quick-reference list of Eidolons and where they can be found.

Main Quests

Available Eidolons:
Sigrun
Gigas

Upon reaching Level 25, following your main story questline will lead you to a meeting with several Eidolons at the altar in Crescent Hill. Completing this quest will award you Sigrun’s Key of Gaia. You will have unlocked Slots 2 and 3 in your Eidolon party now, so go ahead and use Sigrun’s key to make a pact with her. When you reach Level 40, you can complete another story quest in Demarech Mines that will grant you Gigas’ Key of Gaia. You can obtain multiple Keys of Gaia for Sigrun and Gigas by leveling new characters to Lv25 and Lv40. This is a fast way to gain extra keys to evolve these two tanky Eidolons and make them much more powerful.

Temple of the Eidolons

Eidolons Available:
Sigrun
Gigas
Aelius
Kotonoha
Bel-Chandra
Uzuriel
Vayu
Yarnaros
Quelkulan
Bahadur
Eligos
Tigerius Caesar

Upon reaching Level 30, you will get a quest asking you to meet a soldier just outside Navea. Doing so will allow you entry into the Temple of the Eidolons, a special instance that you can enter every 6 hours.

When you go inside, you may open one of the three chests, one for Level 35, one Level 50, and one Level 60. Doing so will cause the other two to disappear, so it’s best to take the one that’s closest to your level. The chest will drop a Summoning Stone for you to use, which will then turn into a specific stone with an Eidolon’s name. Use that to summon the Eidolon and challenge them to a duel, with Keys of Gaia and Key Fragments as possible item drops!

Eidolon Energy Crystals

Eidolons Available
Sigrun
Gigas
Aelius
Kotonoha
Bel-Chandra
Uzuriel
Vayu
Yarnaros
Quelkulan
Bahadur
Eligos
Tigerius Caesar

You may have noticed you’ve started to collect these items called Eidolon Energy Crystals. If you fuse 75 of them with a Hero’s Emblem, you can get a Summoning Stone to use in a particular map that will call forth a huge Eidolon to fight. These Eidolons can be a little tougher for lower-level players, and a group is recommended to take them on safely.

If you’re short on Hero’s Emblems, you can also swap 100 of them with Gardner in your Guild Hall for a Summoning Stone. However, this stone can only be used inside the guild hall, so call on your guildmates for help if you need it.

It’s worth noting that these Eidolons do not directly drop the items, their rewards are sent to you in the mail after you defeat them. Because of this, Treasure Charms have no effect on them and the buff they give will not be useful when fighting these summons.

Guild Hall Spawns

Eidolons Available:
Sigrun
Gigas
Aelius
Kotonoha
Bel-Chandra
Uzuriel
Vayu
Yarnaros
Quelkulan
Bahadur
Eligos
Tigerius Caesar

Once you’re part of a Guild Level 4 or higher, you’ll be able to enter your Guild Hall, as long as you’ve been in the guild 24 hours or more. Here, there are set times where certain Eidolons will spawn to challenge your guild to a battle. As with Temple of the Eidolons, they can drop full Keys or Key Fragments, and will be affected by treasure charms.

Instances

Otherworld: Port Skandia, Helonia Coast, Crescent Hill
Available Eidolons:
Sigrun
Gigas
Aelius
Kotonoha
Bel-Chandra
Uzuriel
Vayu
Yarnaros
Quelkulan
Bahadur
Eligos
Tigerius Caesar

Inside these dungeons (Level 50, 60 and 70, respectively) you will find larger mini-boss versions of the standard monsters there (such as Excited Bunnyhops in Skandia). Every one of these you defeat has a small chance to spawn a specific Eidolon when you take it down. There will always be an announcement throughout the map when this happens, so don’t worry about missing your Eidolon.

Otherworld: Alabastren Temple, Gydaie Glen, Miner’s Steppe
Available Eidolons:
Endora
Vermilion

After defeating the final boss in these Level 60 dungeons, there is a slim chance either Endora or Vermilion will arrive with the treasure chest, trying to take your treasure for themselves. They won’t go easy on you, so go all-out for a chance at their keys.

Endora can only be found within the Party modes of these dungeons, and Vermilion will only show herself in the Hard mode instances. It’s worth mentioning that this is usually the first place you’ll get to see these Eidolons in-game, and people run these dungeons often so if you’re after the Midnight Witch or the Phoenix Enchantress, they’re a good idea.

Infernal Abyss/Whirlpool Abyss
Available Eidolons:
Zaahir
Nazrudin

The mysterious, fiery dungeon that is the Infernal Abyss will open up to you once you’re Level 55. Defeating the Incarnations of Zaahir as they appear to challenge you can net you some of his fragments. Each apparition that you fight can drop his keys, so even if you don’t make it to the end you might still be rewarded with this molten monster.

Similarly, once you reach Level 60 the Whirlpool Abyss will be available for you to challenge. Hop down into the raging current to challenge Nazrudin and his waves of minions. Defeat Nazrudin as he appears after the waves of enemies and he may award you key fragments for your troubles.

The Three Dragons: Lament, Landing and Siege
Available Eidolons:
Tsubaki
Serena
Endora
Vermilion

As with the Otherworld dungeons, these Eidolons will occasionally spawn at the end of these Lv65 dungeons. Both Tsubaki and Serena are super-elusive Eidolons and making pacts with them isn’t an easy thing to do. These again are dungeons that people run often, so make the most of it!

Sky Tower
Available Eidolons
Hel
Bealdor

Sky Tower is a 40-Man Raid instance located in Navea for players Level 60+. Bealdor will make several appearances throughout the later floors of the tower, and you will get the chance to fight him in the very last challenge, 20F: The Lost. The chest here will have a small chance to drop Bealdor’s Key Fragments. Hel is fought in one of the later fights, on 18F: Tough Call. Again, the chest that appears afterwards has a chance to drop her key fragments. This is the only place you can currently get Hel or Bealdor in-game.

Archaeology

Available Eidolons
Abraxas

Archaeology Guide

The Treasure Maps you obtain through Archaeology will lead you to hidden treasure chests throughout Azuria. If you’re super lucky, one of these may reward you for your treasure hunting spirit with Abraxas’ key or key fragments!

Guild Instances

Available Eidolons
Cyril

A new addition, Guild Instances allow you and your guild to work together to unlock harder and harder challenges set by the Eidolon Cyril. Once you reach 650 Guild Contribtuon Points on the weekly counter, Cyril will award you one key fragment. Reaching the final dungeon and clearing it once will net you an extra two, so for those of you who do this often, you’ll be in for a guaranteed 3 fragments a week!

What’s more, the Gallant Crusader Treasure Chests you can earn through Guild Instances also have a chance to grant you key fragments or a full Cyril’s Key of Gaia!

Other Eidolons

Cleopawtra
The Panther Pharaoh was an exclusive Eidolon granted to the players who bought Diamond Founder’s Packs back when Aura Kingdom was released. A lady of pride, she has kept her promise to the Diamond Founders and has not been released in-game since, only through special promotional events.

Kaiser Zeta, Shirayuki, Alucard & Kusanagi
These four Eidolons are very picky about who they’ll partner up with. Some say they’ve never stepped foot into Azuria without an Envoy by their side. Perhaps you’ll have to try their Fortune Bags or the Paragon Table for a chance at meeting them. Kaiser Zeta has been very fond of the Paragon Table of late, it seems.

Athena
Athena, Goddess of War is a new and mysterious Eidolon. She’s been the center of a lot of attention in the Aura Kingdom community, and rumor has it she’s lying in wait for a worthy Envoy to prove themselves before she offers them her blade. No Envoy yet has been seen battling with Athena, so who knows? You could end up being her first partner someday…
