It’s a good build, quite useful in 1v1 battles, can be pulled off in 2v2 if you don’t care about losing almost every fight. Strategy is exactly the same as the common Strength Build. Smoke…Massacre.

The Tech Bounty

The Tech Bounty is a unique build that works well in 1v1.

Tech Mage Strategy

For defeating the versatile class known as “Tech Mage” you’ll have to follow these instructions:

Since TMs can debuff your Technology I suggest using your Smoke Screen A.S.A.P. Then your left with a very crippled opponent. Also another way to approach a mage is to EMP grenade their energy before they can use Defense Matrix or Malfunction. Even though they will gain the energy back you can still get a few deadly strikes with your Bot, Blaster, and Bazooka. Since they aren’t weakened forever you’ll still have to take some heat. Try to keep their health at a point where they don’t want to waste a heal and then destroy them with rage.

One thing is the same for every Strategy, YOU NEVER, EVER STICK TO THE STRATEGY I GAVE YOU! As you play with the build you will develop a bond with it that will help you control and use it better. The strategy I gave you is only to get you accustomed to the build.

Bounty Hunter Strategy

For defeating the glorious “Bounty Hunter” class follow these instructions:

Bounty Hunters are a tad more challenging. EMP grenade used against you can be devastating. When EMP is used, use your Bot, Aux, and Sidearm. When EMP is not used, Smoke Screen, Aux, Sidearm. After you use all of your Physical attacks, use your Primary. After one Primary attack you should have rage and/or Aux ready, this will/should finish your opponent. If you don’t kill them after that play it out how you wish I do it differently every time.

One thing is the same for every Strategy, YOU NEVER, EVER STICK TO THE STRATEGY I GAVE YOU! As you play with the build you will develop a bond with it that will help you control and use it better. The strategy I gave you is only to get you accustomed to the build.

Mercenary Strategy

To defeat the somewhat chubby “Mercenary” class follow these instructions:

Mercenaries abuse the stats Strength and Support. The build works for both of them. Use your EMP grenade first turn, it will/should take all of their energy. Then use your Smoke Screen to make them crippled and then DESTROY them with your Bot, Sidearm, and Aux. In some cases(usually with lower levels) you will be intimidated. If they Intimidate you don’t use your Sidearm use your Bot Special.

Dealing with the 100 strength plus Field Commander Mercenaries see if this helps:

Since this build cannot be matched by any class besides another Mercenary you have a 4.5 to 1 chance of winning. If you go second you need a miracle to win. If you go first which happens 50% of the time, you have a roughly 25% chance of victory. Play your cards out slyly. Don’t let them on to the fact that you think you can beat them. Try an EMP or a Reflex to stop them if you go first. For going second pray to whatever god you believe in! If you want to be safer about Strength Mercenaries, try instead of an 8 EMP and 6 Reflex, use a 7Reflex and 7EMP, or an 8Reflex, 6EMP.

Also for Mercenaries try not using your Smoke Screen until 2 turns into the match, this sometimes throws them off a tad. Remember always be a “Cerebral Assassin”

One thing is the same for every Strategy, YOU NEVER, EVER STICK TO THE STRATEGY I GAVE YOU! As you play with the build you will develop a bond with it that will help you control and use it better. The strategy I gave you is only to get you accustomed to the build.

Side Notes

At first this build may seem a tad clunky. As you use it more it gets better trust me. When I started the testing for it I thought “Another EpicFail” but as I continued testing I grew to use it more wisely and less cautiously.

Shadow Arts Bounty Hunter

With the addition of Shadow Arts to my arsenal, I decided to make a little more “passive” version of the build.

Weapons I Used

Frostbane: Slots= +2 Dex +7 Tech +1 Sup

Shadow Guard PM: Slots= +4 Tech

Weapons That Could Work

Behemoth Scythe
Desert Ronin PM
Boomstick
Imperial ACP
Plasma ACP
Overlord Blaster
Beta Clever
Bunnyzooka Physical

Strategy

With this build you can do two things. Reflex, then regain all your energy and Reflex again, or Smoke Screen then Reflex and vise versa.

With the Reflex Loop strategy you Reflex use your bot, and rage with AUX.

For the Smoke Screen strategy, Smoke Screen, Bot Regular, AUX, Blaster.

I left the Shadow Arts strategy very up-in-the-air. This variation had much less versatility but at the same time it is effective.

Zean Zapple’s Official Technology Bounty Hunter Build

After much testing with this build, and discovering new ways to use it, I’ve discovered MY favorite way of using it.

FrostBane (Enhancements= 2 Dex, 7 Tech, 1 Support)
Beta Blaster
Dragon Cannon
Gamma Bot

Weapons That Could Work

Shadow Guard Armor P
Azrael’s Bane (Same enhancements as FrostBane)
Bunny Zooka (P if FrostBane, E if Azrael’s Bane)
Assault Bot

ROUGH Strategy

When facing a Mage= Use Smokescreen on your first turn ONLY if they didn’t Malfunction you! If they Malfunction you, use Reflex Boost, Secondary Bot(Gamma), sidearm. Then use Smokescreen and rage with Auxiliary.

When facing a Mercenary= Use Reflex Boost if they have a physical primary and/or Auxiliary. If they don’t have a physical Aux or Primary, use your EMP Grenade, then smokescreen, then Bot Primary.

When facing a Bounty Hunter= Use Reflex, smokescreen, Bot Primary, Auxiliary, and Sidearm. After that if your opponent isn’t finished use Bot Secondary(Gamma) and whatever else you have left.

I hope you enjoyed this Guide and I hope it helps you create a finely functioning Tech Bounty.
