Crystal Saga Fire Mage Guide

Crystal Saga Fire Mage Guide by Annonymus

Hi, this is my first guide, hope it helps.

So, as you already know, this is a Fire Mage guide, and so now, on to the guiding!

The advantages of being a Mage is that:

  • Gold is very easy to get.
  • You deal the highest amount of damage in-game.
  • You can get Silver Honor Badges in Sengolia faster.

But of course, with every advantage comes a disadvantage:

  • You’re weak against PATKs.
  • You die easily if grouped.

There are other advantages and disadvantages, but they’re not worth any mention.

The stat build is:
1-80: Full INT.
Why Full INT? Because HP doesn’t really matter if all your enemies are dead.

Skills, the most important thing in the game. How useful a skill is all depends on your playing style.
If you’re more into dealing high damage, a Fire Mage is the right build for you!
On to the skill build!
At level 10, what you should have done is…
Fireball + 1
Flame Burst + 1
Balrog’s Hell + 1
Flame Shield + 1

Level 20:
Fire Wave +1
Flame Shield +2

Level 30:
Thunderstorm + 1
Flame Shield + 2
Blink + 5

Level 40:
Improved Fireball + 5

Level 50:
Focus +1
Demon’s Wrath + 4

Level 60:
Demon’s Wrath + 1
Improved Flame Burst + 1
Improved Fire Wave + 1

Level 70:
Flame Explosion + 1

Level 80:
Master Flame Burst + 5
Meteor Strike + 5

Confused by what I mean by:

Fireball + 1?

What it means is that you add 1 skill point to Fireball.

For your early levels 21- try to go for the Shining set IF you want, but it’s unnecessary since the equipment only matters when you’re level 30+ (Because that’s when you can start going into Sengolia)
And, for levels 40+ the Savage Gear is what I would recommend you to get.
Finally, for level 80, what you should get is the Slayer Set.
Try to aim for Blue, Yellow or Pink items, since they’re the ones which give the most stat bonuses.

Pets, they have an important role in your combat;

Recommended for people who don’t wanna waste money for the Angels: Bear Cub/Baby Bear Cub/Morphed Bear Cub
Why Bear Cubs? It has a 25% absorption, which means that it takes 1/4 of your incoming damage, plus it can also have a skill called “Drag” which works the same way as how a Knight’s “Dragon Hook” works.

But if you have the money and are willing to spend it to get the Angel varieties, I recommend: Baby Angel/Super Angel/Burning Angel
Why Burning Angel? First, it has a 6 second stun, which is more than enough time for you to either run away or kill the enemy, second, it has a heal, since Mages take a lot of PATK damage, this heal is important, and third, it has an AoE attack, which helps you kill groups faster.
