APB Reloaded Impounding Vehicles as Enforcer Guide

APB Reloaded Impounding Vehicles as Enforcer Guide by Stoops

FOREWORD:
I wrote this guide because unlike some, I had no idea what this process was about. At all. I would not take a second glance at stolen cars, and at the same time I would complain how Criminals got easy money while all I could do was arrest them. This guide isn’t too vital for playing the game, but I feel it’s important enough to explain because honestly I had no idea what these things even meant on my screen.

Ahead of time, I apologize for the sometimes poor quality of the images. It’s what the game decided to make.

STOOPS’ STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO IMPOUNDING CARS (AS AN ENFORCER)

Hello!

First and foremost, here’s a little explanation of the UI involving impounding. There’s only two or three things here here to really take into account.

The bar on the far left is your Prestige. This prestige affects your multiplier, found in the other circle in red. The higher your prestige, the higher your multiplier when you “cash out”.

The number in green beside the moneybag is your “stash”. It’s just cash you havent turned in, yet. It’s exactly the same as criminal laundered cash. For every car you turn in, the money you receive will end up there. This money will drop on the floor if you die.

Right now, I have 4 prestige, 796 dollars and will receive a 1.8x multiplier when I turn everything in finally.

That means at 1.8x multiplier, if I get $1000 stash, when I “cash in” I’ll get $1800, which is $1000 x 1.8!

STEP 1: SCOPE IT OUT!

I’ve been patrolling the streets looking for mishap. Keep an eye out for cars smashed into walls or any car that looks out of the road. A great place to keep an eye out is anywhere there’s gunfire (everyone steals cars!) One thing to remember is that you cannot take people’s deployed cars. Oh well.

More expensive cars are worth more money. Average cars net you a bonus of about $57, expensive cars get you a bonus of about $113. Huge vehicles, like money trucks and ambulances net you a cool 500 wing-wangs. Definitely pick them up if you see one’s stolen.

So, I’ve been scoping and I’ve finally ran into a stolen car. A Dolton Fresno. It’s sort of banged up, but as you can see at the bottom of the screen, it’s stolen and I can grab it. Although it seems minor, a car returned in perfect condition will net you a small amount of extra money. A single car doesn’t make for much, but several will add up to be cars simply by the bonuses alone.

STEP 2: STEAL THAT doodoo IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE

I take it to the gas station. All better! But in order to keep the bonus, the car needs to be pristine. A single dent or ding takes the bonus off. Many times I’ve scuffed the bottom of the car on the ramp OF the impound station and I lose my bonus. So, I looked on my hud for the marker “Impound Lot”. I head over to it, carefully not scratching the Fresno in the process.

STEP 3: Bon Voyage!

There it goes! It’s gone forever, and I’ve netted a small amount of money. Notice my “stash” has gone up a bit.

STEP 4: GET READY FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

So, we do it again with another car,

and again….

…aaaand one more time because I’m waiting on dinner..

Okay, I’ve had enough. You’ll see I have a nifty amount of cash in my stash. Now that that’s done, lets head over to the Evidence Locker to cash-in!

STEP 6: LAUNDERING EXCEPT ITS LEGAL BECAUSE I HAVE A BADGE

This is the evidence locker for Waterfront District. Looks fancy. The UI will have a marker for you to find your way here.

The building is sort of empty for being some sort of capital building, and theres no way to get to the second floor. As you see, the marker tells you to head to the ceiling.

Just jump on top of the desk and you’ll automatically cash out. Your Prestige will drop to 2. This is on purpose. It’s like you are cashing in your prestige for one last big hit. You’ll see my prestige dropped and at the top right I made a cool $5000.

Well done, cadet! Now you can go back to your capital punishment frenzy. Like I said before, this method of making money isn’t the most effective, in fact I still believe criminals make more than this in a shorter time span. One of the benfitis, however, is that you can’t be witnessed and don’t have to look over your shoulder with all your money on you. I spent about a half hour from beginning to end on what we went over today. Either way, it’s still possible for enforcers to farm, and if you feel like it, go for it. Hope you enjoyed the tutorial! Adios.

Cliffnotes/tldr QUICK NOTES:
•You turn cars into the impound lot, it raises your stash money.
•Your stash money isn’t real money until you visit the Evidence Locker
•The amount of money you get is effected by your Multiplier, which is effected by your Prestige.
•Some cars are worth more than others
•You get a small bonus if your car is in pristine condition when turning it in.
•Turning in your stash to the evidence locker DUMPS YOUR PRESTIGE. This is on purpose. It’s like you are “cashing out”.
•Don’t do this unless you have high enough prestige and enough money. You’re wasting your prestige if you drop off $27.
