Hey there, I recently started RISK:Factions (About 2 days ago) and had decided to do a bit of research to provide some ‘help’ for everyone. I’ll try my best to search before posting anything (Yes, this is my 1st post) and will try and give credit to those who managed to figure out certain things first and posted them before me. (Sorry for the bad ‘speech’ but wasn’t sure how to type it.)

[GUIDE] Gold/Time/Troop Formula

This is basically the amount of time or gold spent per troop when using any of the facilities in the store. Will update asap.

Format :
[Facility] [Size]- [# of Troops] / [Gold required] / [Time Taken]
[Gold + Time per Troop]

Humans :


Marching Grounds 3×3 – 4 Troops / 65 Gold / 15 Minutes
16.25 Gold + 3 Min 45 Sec


Musket Range 3×3 – 12 Troops / 185 Gold / 1 Hour
15.42 Gold + 5 Min


Napolenic Gym 3×3 – 25 Troops / 365 Gold / 4 Hours
14.60 Gold + 9 Min 36 Sec


Obstacle Course 3×3 – 36 Troops / 495 Gold / 8 Hours
13.75 Gold + 13 Min 20 Sec


Stable 4×3 (Requires 1 Helper) – Cavalry / 65 Gold / 2 Hours


Donkey Foundry 3×3 (Requires 3 Helpers) – Donkey Cannon / 160 Gold / 16 Hours


Steam Forge 5×3 (Requires 2 Helpers) – Steam Tank / 240 Gold / 24 Hours

Faction Upgrades

Special Weapons

Cavalry :

Effect : Adds +1 to Highest Rolling Attack Die.
Duration : ‘Infinite’ (Until territory is conquered by another player)
Range : Whole Continent it is on. (Applies even when attacking another continent. E.g. Cavalry is in Asia, Attack is from a territory of Asia to another continent.)

Note: Bonus dice only overlap if they are stronger.
E.g. 2 Troops Attacking 4 Troops = 1 Die + 2 Bonus VS 2 Dice
= Strongest of 3 Dice VS Strongest of 2 Dice
=/= 2 out of 3 Dice VS 2 Dice

Duration : ‘Infinite’ (Until territory is conquered by another player)
Range : Territory it is on and all territories surrounding said territory.

Donkey Cannon :

Effect : Kills 6 to 8 troops on territory.
Duration : Instant
Range : Neighbouring Enemy Territories

Meatron :

Effect : Sacrificies 5 troops on target territory and adds 5 bonus dice for attacks and defense. (Effect is active no matter number of troops attacking with.) (Stackable)

Range : Territory it is on and all territories surrounding said territory. (Same as Steam Tank)

Flesh Mob :

Effect : Adds 7 troops to target territory.
Duration : Instant
Range : Any territory owned by Player.

Awakening the Zombie :

Effect : Allows any troops lost (whether from attacking or defending) to be revived next turn on target territory.
Duration : ‘Infinite’ (Until territory is conquered by another player)
Range : Any territory owned by Player.
Unique : You can have only 1 book active at one time.

Create Single Player Games and Surrender

an easy way to make money is to start a single player game, use given troops to take as many territorys as possible then surrender, (dont think it takes any points off) then start another.

if you do it in easy, you can sometimes virtually win the game without any new troops!!! esspecially if its just 2 player, try it

Unlimited Hordes [Zombies Only]

(I think this may have been said before)

5 Easy Steps :

1.Conquer the entire map but 1 territory.
2.Place ‘Awakening the Zombie’ at furtherest possible territory.
3.Let the A.I. attack and conquer on his turn.
4.Re-conquer areas using only revived troops (Deploy if need be)
5. Repeat Steps 3 & 4 until satisfied.

Feel free to tell how I can make it look better and what else I can add.

  1. they changed all the troop costs recently to make it more cost efficient with the lower times. guess they realized their mistake

  2. just built a sctching post. using it; it costs 380 gold to make 26 cat troops..
