In Castlot, there are two places where you can apply technologies—the Academy and the League.

You can start to learn technologies after you have built the Academy. Upgrading technologies in the Academy is very important. The level of the technologies cannot exceed the level of the Academy. When you reach a higher hierarchy, you will be able to learn more technologies in the Academy.

Move the cursor onto a technology icon and there will appear a pop-out panel displaying the specific details such as level, effects, upgrade requirements and cooldown of that technology.

After you have joined a league or created one by yourself, you can get the benefits of the league technologies which are also shared by the other league members. You can help speed up the league technologies upgrade by donating resources and Gold.
