Hi, I saw lots of Players asking questions about skills point in the forum.
Check out this basic guide below!
*If there is anything wrong, please help me to correct.1) Total Number of Skill Points (for a Max Stance Level of 25) = 79
————————————————————————————-
Skills Points are given in the following manner
(I am not 100% sure on this currently):
Stance Level : SP Earned (at this Level) : Total SP Earned
01 : 0 : 0
02 : 1 : 1
03 : 1 : 2
04 : 1 : 3
05 : 2 : 5
06 : 2 : 7
07 : 2 : 9
08 : 2 : 11
09 : 2 : 13
10 : 3 : 16
11 : 3 : 19
12 : 3 : 22
13 : 3 : 25
14 : 3 : 28
15 : 4 : 32
16 : 4 : 36
17 : 4 : 40
18 : 4 : 44
19 : 4 : 48
20 : 5 : 53
21 : 5 : 58
22 : 5 : 63
23 : 5 : 68
24 : 5 : 73
25 : 6 : 79

Total: 79 SP

2) Total Number of Skill Points Needed
————————————————————————————-
There are different number of skill points needed for different Stances
Many Stances follow the 1-2-2-3 method:
1 refers to the number of SP to increase the 1st Skill by 1 Level
2 refers to the number of SP to increase the 2nd Skill by 1 Level
2 (second 2) refers to the number of SP to increase the 3rd Skill by 1 Level
3 refers to the number of SP to increase the 4th Skill by 1 Level

Skills max out at Level 10 (Written as “Master” in game)
So for a 1-2-2-3 Stance,
The number of SP needed to max out the skills are:
(9* 1) + (9* 2) + (9* 2) + (9* 3) = 72
Note that Skills start at Level 1, so u need to increase the Skill Level 9 times to max it.

3) How to Allocate Skill Points
————————————————————————————-
There are a few Methods which I am using:

a) “Save Enough”
U may consider this method when U are not sure how long u will use the stance.
(e.g. the stance might be just a prerequiste for another stance)
Save Enough refers to saving up enough SP for the skill(s) that you would like to max.
E.g. Stance PlowGuard (2 Hand Sword)
Let say you would like to Max the 3rd Skill, Skyliner (req. Stance Lvl 12)
If you want to max out Skyliner at Stance Level 12,
you would need (9* 2) = 18 SP ready by Stance Level 12.
Since at Stance Level 12, u have 22 SP,
U can choose to Keep the rest of the 10 SP for the 4th skill (at Stance Level 16)
or allocate them freely for the 1st 2 skills.

There is also a situation where you might like to max buff skills
of the Final Weapon that ur character is using.
E.g. I am using 2 Hand Sword, so I might wanna max out the 4th skill which is a Buff.
The reason is becoz u might wan to switch back to older stances to use their buffs.

b) “Fast Leveling”
This method is the method recommended in the GE Site.
Using tis method, U might wan to Max out AOE attack Skills 1st, followed by Single Target Attack Skills.
For Scout, I maxed out Acceleration, followed by Intensify as soon as I could.

As a general rule, if you are not using the stance anymore in the future,
(e.g. U are a Double Gun Musk-to-be,
that is using Rifle (Stance) becoz ur Character is still low)
U might consider maxing out skills that helps more in PVE/Leveling 1st.

Example of Stance Level Gained without AFK Leveling
————————————————————————————-
Fighter:
Character Level 1 to 24 -> Level 15 BackGuard
Character Level 24 to 36 -> Level 18 PlowGuard
Character Level 36 to 37 -> Level 9 RoofGuard

Scout:
Character Level 1 to 18 -> Level 12 First Aid
Character Level 18 to 36 -> Level 20 Fortitudo

“Carrying” SP Over Related Stances
—————————————————————————–
There are some Stances where SP can be “carried over”.
Technically, if a skill is available in 2 stances (of the same character),
leveling up the skill in either stances would be the same.
Therefore, it’s recommened that U use the SP from the Stance (out of the two) which has more “free” SP.

e.g. If Skill Westraid’s Level in FreeShot (Single Gun/Pistol stance) is increased,
When u use the Double-Gun Stance (which also has Skill Westraid),
U will see that Westraid’s Level is the same as what u have leveled in the Single-Gun Stance.
