Dragonica Warrior Class Guide

Dragonica Warrior Class Guide by OpelxFrost

Introduction to Warrior

The classes in brown are hidden classes. Hidden classes, 3rd  job and 4th job are currently unavailable.

Warrior, a basic melee class in Dragonica that uses one-handed sword. Their featured skill is impervious, storm blade and shoulder tackle. Warriors are the best character in PvP due to their Impervious skill which allows them to avoid any launcher/knockdown effect. Warrior’s only need to be wary of Wizard’s Blizzard skill during PvP since it freezes warrior’s when their impervious is activated. They will almost definitely follow up with a magic missle which can easily kill you (for those used to playing D&D;, magic missle doesn’t deals D4’s damage in Dragonica lol). Shoulder tackle > storm blade combo is commonly used in PvP since it is easy to execute and usually ensures a kill (usually you will fail to kill only due to misses or when your target is warrior type). Storm blade is a good skill for killing air targets, but it also has another important uses; to avoid mobs attack. This can be seen in my warrior’s gameplay video.
Knight uses one-handed sword and is a defense specialist. Knight is the easiest character to use in Dragonica due to their high defense and hp but please note that I’m only referring to the ease of surviving with knight. All melee classes levels slower than range classes due to combo. Knight’s featured skill is spear jab which deals very high damage. Knight works well in PvE, PvP and MvP.
Gladiator uses two-handed sword and is an attack specialist. Their attack speed is significantly slower than knight/warrior which makes them hard to use in PvE (note that they are not weaker at PvE, they are just harder to use). Their high damage also makes them an extremely good class for PvP-ing since anyone that gets hit by shoulder tackle will almost definitely die. For those that are new to Dragonica, try to avoid gladiator as your first character since gladiator isn’t easy to use. Their featured skill is whirlwind, a high damage AOE attack. Gladiator works well in PvP, PvE and MvP. But as mentioned earlier, Gladiator works well in PvE but is much harder to use (as compared to Knight).

Warrior

Sword Mastery
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 15
Required Level: 1
Required Weapon: Sword or 2H Sword
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive

Description: Passively increase damage by 30.
Damage is low, but in the new build, all passive skill cost 0 skill point, so max it.
In summary, max it since it cost 0 skill points in the new build.
Air Combo Launch
Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points: 10
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive
Description: Launch up to 5 enemies into the air on the third hit
Activates by pressing: attack, attack, up + attack
Air combo launch is a good skill simply cause it is the only passive launcher skill available for warrior. Air combo launch has very short attack range thus, when there is a miss on one of the mob or when there are more than 5 mobs, you will get wacked. Note: The first 2 hit for air combo launch need not strike the target to execute a launch on the 3rd hit.
In summary, get it is the only passive launcher skill.
 Blow

Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points: 10
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive
Description: Stabbing attack to enemies in front of you (up to 5 targets)
Activates by pressing: attack, attack, forward + attack
Blow is great since it’s range is further than air combo launch. I usually use blow to KD some mob before using air combo launch on the remaining mob so that I won’t get interrupted when jumping to do my air combo.
In summary, get it since it unlocks a good mob controlling passive.
 Re-launch

Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points: 10
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: NoneType: Passive
Description: Launch up to 5 KD enemies into the air
Activates by pressing; down + attack, down + attack, up + attack
This skill isn’t very useful since cutdown is a better relaunch skill.
In summary, skip it since cutdown is a better relaunch skill.

Cutdown
Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points: ?
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: NoneType: Passive
Description: Launch up to 5 KD enemies into the air.
Activates by pressing; down + attack [when in air]
When killing mobs higher level than you, 3 hits in air combo is usually not enough to kill the mob. Cutdown enable you to relaunch the targets after your air combo, enabling you to ‘lock’ your opponent. The only cons of cutdown is the small AOE.
In summary, a good relaunching skill.

Sword Dance
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 2
Prerequisites: None
Type: Active (Cooldown: 3 sec) (27 MP per use at level 5)
Description: Throw swords hitting up to 5 targets infront of you twice (boomerang style). + 110 ATK at level 5.
Sword dance is great for bridging combo when mobs are too far apart. Another uses for sword dance is to use it before dashing into mob since it has a minor stun effect which prevent mobs from hitting you while you missed with air combo launch. But most importantly, it unlocks shoulder tackle.
In summary, get it to level 2 to unlock shoulder tackle.

Shoulder Tackle
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 25
Required Level: 3
Prerequisites: Sword Dance level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 7 sec) (23 MP per use at level 5)
Description: Charges forward and launch up to 5 ground or KD targets.
A great and fast launcher skill, similar to magician’s lightning armor. Level 1 tackle is enough, but get it to level 3 to unlock shoulder tackle.
In summary, get level 3 shoulder tackle to unlock storm blade.

Storm Blade
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 25
Required Level: 5
Prerequisites: Shoulder tackle level 3
Type: Active (Cooldown: 3 sec) (15 MP per use)
Description: Do a 10 hit whirlwind attack that hits up to 5 targets in mid air. + 100 atk at level 10.
Storm blade is a good damaging skill for mid air targets and a much better substitute for warrior’s passive air combo attack. When the user is doing the skill animation for storm blade, they are also invulnerable. Hence using storm blade for air combo is not the main purpose of storm blade. The real uses of storm blade is to avoid boss attack or other high damaging skill (which can be seen in the warrior gameplay video section). It also unlocks a few critical skill for 2nd job (applies to both knight and gladiator). The only cons of storm blade is the small AOE, making it hard to use for air combo.
In summary, get 1 level of storm blade to unlock Incoming Bro! which in turn unlocks Gladiator skill and level 2 if you are going for Knight to unlock spear jab.
Incoming Bro!
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 9
Prerequisites: Storm Blade level 1
Type: Active (Cooldown: 3 sec) (15 MP per use)
Description: Summon Bruce Lee to knockdown up to 5 targets infront of you. +144 ATK at level 10.
Incoming Bro! is a good active skill if you are going for gladiator cause their attack speed is too slow.Usually, i will start my atk with incoming bro! followed by cutdown to launch my targets. Using a range skill for engaging also reduces your chance of getting hit (mainly due to misses). Knight can skip this skill since they have faster attack speed and it doesn’t unlock anything.
In summary, knight players can skip this skill. Get it to level 3 to unlock I’m Gone Bro which is required to unlock acceleration and in thus unlocking whirlwind.
Increased Defense
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: None
Type: Active (Cooldown: 30 sec) (33 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Bloat up your head and increase 28 def for 120 secs at level 10.
Not a very good skill, cause the increase is very little.
In summary, get increased defense to level 2 to unlock grizzly power.

Grizzly Power
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 4
Prerequisites: Increased Defense level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 60 sec) (36 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Gives your character a bear head and increase 10 str and 21% atk at level 10.
Damage buffing skill is definitely great and most important, it is in percentage! But since it is a percentage buffing skill, it is not useful at early levels, so pump other skill that are more useful if you have insufficient skill points. But if you are going for gladiator, try to max it upon class changing since gladiator damage are a lot higher.
In summary, max it once you have enough skill points or at higher level. But if you are going for gladiator path, max it asap.

Impervious
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 15
Required Level: 8
Prerequisites: Grizzly Power level 4
Type: Active (Cooldown: 0 sec) (32 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Makes character skip “flinch” animation when hit.
Impervious is an important skill since it allows warrior’s to avoid any launcher/knockdown effect. Warrior’s only need to be wary of Wizard’s Blizzard skill during PvP since it freezes warrior’s when their impervious is activated. Since it has a cooldown of 0 sec, and the duration is like 8 sec at level 1, there is no reason to waste skill points getting impervious to higher level, unless you need to unlock gladiator’s giant growth.
In summary, get 2 level of impervious to unlock giant growth for gladiator, level 1 is enough for knight players.

Armor Break
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: None
Type: Active (Cooldown: 5 sec) (30 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Reduce the def of up to 5 targets by 100 for 10 secs at level 10. + 66 atk at level 10.
The defense reduction is a lot at low levels but since it is a fix reduction, it is useless at higher level. Pump armor break to level 2 to unlock joint break.
In summary, pump it tp level 2 to unlock joint break.
Joint Break
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 5
Prerequisites: Armor Break level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 15 sec) (38 MP per use at level 5)
Description: Reduce targets movement speed (up to 5 targets). When used in pvp, also reduces player atk spd. 30% aspd and mspd reduction at level 10.
Joint break isn’t very useful for PvP cause you would rather use shoulder tackle when there is a chance to hit your opponent. Only get it to level 2 to unlock weapon suspension for knight or to unlock hammer crush for PvP build or gladiator (since hammer crush at level 3 unlocks whirlwind).
In summary, keep joint break at level 3 to unlock hammer crush or pump it to level 2 to unlock weapon suspension for knight players.

Hammer Crush
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 25
Required Level: 9
Prerequisites: Joint Breaker level 3
Type: Active (Cooldown: 2 sec) (37 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Take a big hammer and smash up to 5 enemies. 86% chance to stun for 2 secs and + 95 ATK at level 10.
Hammer crush is good for PvP, but it requires level 10 to shine. Get it to level 3 to unlock gladiator’s whirlwind skill if you are not intending to go PvP build.
In summary, a useful skill at level 10 for PvP. It also unlocks gladiator whirlwind skill which is their main AOE skill.

  Knight

 Shield Mastery

Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 20
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive

Description: Increase block rate by 2.8% and def by 66 when you equip a shield.
Shield mastery is passive and increases quite a fair bit of def. Max it if you have points to spare
In summary, max it if you have points to spare.
HP Recovery
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 15
Required Level: 21
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive

Description: Increase max HP by 500, + 23 hp regeneration, grant 50% more HP restoration from HP pots and 21% more MP restoration from MP pots at level 10.
A good skill to have, the only problem is the lack of skill points. Hence if you are playing in the new build where passive skill cost 0 skill points, max it!
In summary, max it if you are playing in the new build.

Aerial Blow
Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points: ?
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive
Activates by pressing: attack, attack, front + attack [while user is in mid-air]
Description: Bring out a hammer at the 3rd hit to strike targets
The damage is much higher with aerial blow (as compared to the default 3rd hit on air combo), but it isn’t really worth spending skill points on it. In the new version, it will cost 0 skill point since it is a passive skill, so pump it.
In summary, pump it in the new build when it cost 0 skill point.

Aerial Smackdown
Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points Required: ?
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive
Activates by pressing: front + front, attack [while user is in mid-air]
Description: Hitting attack while doing an air dash launches up to 5 enemies in the air

Couldn’t find any information regarding this skill from chinese source, but it seems like a good launching skill.
In summary, I’m clueless whether it is useful since I have not tried it.

Spear Jab
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 20
PrerequisitesStorm Blade level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 10 sec) (77 MP per use at level 10)

Description: Does 5 continuous stab at enemy in front of you (up to 5 targets). +95 ATK at level 10.
An insanely high damaging skill. It is a must to max it!!!
In summary, max it!!!

Stumblebum
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 23
Prerequisites: Spear Jab level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 30 sec) (110 MP per use at level 5)

Description: Intimidate enemies with a roar. 60% chance of lowering enemy ACC by 50% and atk by 25% for 30 secs at level 5.
Haven’t tried this skill, but my guildmate says it seems useful for boss fight. Anyway, it unlocks wrath of earth, which is a pretty good launcher skill.
In summary, get it to level 3 to unlock wrath of Earth.

Wrath of Earth
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 25
Prerequisites: Stumblebum level 3
Type: Active (Cooldown: 10 sec) (95 MP per use at level 10)

Description: Jump up and strike targets infront of you, launching them into the air. +300 ATK at level 10
It is a launcher skill and has very far range (about half a screen). The only cons, is the slow attack animation. In 1v1 PvP, it is too slow to be of any use, but it is too to use for large PvP in tight areas.
In summary, good for PvE for launching mobs. Useful for large scale PvP in tight areas too.

Roulette
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 35
Required Level: 23
Prerequisites: Stumblebum level 1
Type: Active (Cooldown: 10 sec) (100 MP per use at level 10)
Description: A roulette attack that adds 500 ATK at level 10. There is a chance for it to backfire.
There are 3 effect for roulette, ‘backfire’, ‘normal’ or ‘bonus’. For ‘backfire’ effect, the word miss appeared and the user did not take any damage. For ‘normal‘ effect, there was a slight damage boost (about 100 more damage as compared to a normal attack). For ‘bonus’ effect, there was a damage boost, but the guide writer said that most knight skill deals about the same damage. Hence, there is no reason to get Roulette.
In summary, skip it unless you just love gambling too much…

Parry

Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 20
Required Weapon: 1H Sword
PrerequisitesGrizzly Power level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 30 sec) (50 MP per use at level 5)
Description: 3% increase in block rate for 30 secs at level 5.
Block rate is rather low and the duration isn’t long, so just get it to level 2 to unlock revenge.
In summary, get it to level 2 to unlock revenge but if you have points to spare, max it.

Revenge

Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 25
Prerequisites: Parry level 2, Grizzly Power level 3
Type: Toggle (Cooldown: 0 sec) (0 MP per use)
Description: Reflect 30% of damage taken but consume 22 MP every 3 sec at level 10.
Range attack and skils are all reflected by revenge. Please note the the dmg reflected is calculated after your defense is applied (the attacker defense is ignored though). The effect at level 1 is too little, so if you want to get revenge, max it. Otherwise, skip it.
In summary, either max it to skip it.

Weapon Suspension
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 20
Prerequisites: Joint Breaker level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 10 sec) (75 MP per use at level 10)

Description: A move that hits up to 5 enemies and prevent them from attacking for 3 seconds. + 150 atk at level 10.
Weapon suspension freezes the opponent making them unable to attack making it a great skill in PvE, boss killing and PvP. It is important to get weapon suspension, but there is no need to max it since there is only damage increase at higher skill level.
In summary, leave it at level 1 since there is only damage increase for higher level.

Gladiator

  Advanced Sword Mastery

Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: ?
Required Level: 20
Required Weapon: 2H Sword
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive

Description: Increases your two-handed sword dmg by 10% at level 10
Definitely a must! Gladiator has the highest damage in this game. Their level 57 weapon adds like 1k damage, which equates to around 130+ damage increase (after including damage from strength).
In summary, pump as much as possible, but priority must be given to active skills.

 Ironskin

Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 20
Required Level: 21
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive

Description: Passively increase your defense by 23 at level 10.
A passive defense increase is good to have, but the problem is; we do not have enough skill points. But in the new build, all passive build would have 0 skill point cost.
In summary, good to have, but cost too much, but in the new build, all passives cost 0 skill points so~ max it if you are playing in the new version.

Aerial Blow
Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points: ?
Required Level: 1
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive

Activates by pressing: attack, attack, front + attack [while user is in mid-air]Description: Bring out a hammer at the 3rd hit to strike targets

Dashing Blow
Mastery Level: 1
Skill Points: ?
Required Level: 1
Required Weapon: 2H Sword
Prerequisites: None
Type: Passive
Activates by pressing: up + attack [while user in dashing]
Description: Charge towards an enemy and launch him into air.
This skill is really important for gladiator if you don’t want to use Incoming Bro! to open your engages cause it has a fast attack speed (as compared to gladiator slow ass aspd). But be warned that it dashes a fixed distance (followed by a launching attack), hence, most people might have trouble using it.
In summary, a handy skill to have, but not everyone can use it easily.

 I’m Gone Bro!
Mastery Level: 5
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 22
Prerequisites: Incoming Bro! level 3
Type: Active (Cooldown: 10 sec) (30 MP per use)

Description: Summon Bruce Lee to deliver a 7 hit combo for 140 ATK to a maximum of 5 targets at level 5.
This skill seems bugged in Alpha II, after 2 or 3 hits, all attack doesn’t hit. Can’t really comment on it due to the bug.
In summary, get it to level 1 to unlock acceleration.

Acceleration
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 23
Required Weapon: 2H Sword
Prerequisites:  I’m Gone Bro! level 1Type: Active (Cooldown: 30 sec) (140 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Increases attack speed with 2H sword by 46% for 60 secs at level 10.
Extremely important cause it is an aspd buffer and it unlocks whirlwind. As mentioned earlier on, gladiator has a slow attack speed, hence it is important to get acceleration.
In summary, pump it till level 3 to unlock whirlwind, max it asap after you got your whirlwind.

Annihilation
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 24
Prerequisites: Acceleration level 1Type: Active (Cooldown: 0 sec) (30 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Increases damage of next attack/skill by 37% for 2 secs at level 10.
Haven’t tried it out, but it seems like a tone down version of Ranger’s crux-shot.
In summary, I have no idea since I haven’t tried it.

Whirlwind
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30
Required Level: 25
PrerequisitesAcceleration level 3, Hammer Crush level 3
Type: Active (Cooldown: 10 sec) (40 MP per use)

Description: Do a whirlwind attack that hits up to 5 enemies for 200 ATK at level 10. User has ‘flinch’ skipping effect while casting whirlwind.
Haven’t tried it but my friend says it is the most important AOE skill for gladiator.
In summary, too good to miss!
Wild Rage
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30

Required Level: 20
PrerequisitesGrizzly Power level 3
Type: Active (Cooldown: 60 sec) (95 MP per use at level 10)

Description: Increases 15% physical atk of you and your party member.
Definitely a good skill since all classes depends a lot on physical attack (yes even mages), but it has a major issue in Alpha II cause it doesn’t increase damage as reflected (unless their % is included into their damage calculation formula instead hence the much lower damage increase).
In summary, max it once you have available skill points.

Giant Growth
Mastery Level: 10
Skill Points: 30

Required Level: 23
Prerequisites: Impervious level 2
Type: Active (Cooldown: 60 sec) (80 MP per use at level 10)
Description: Self Buff skill. Increase maximum hp by 1000 for 390 secs at level 10. The portion of hp increased by this skill does not regenerate but can be recovered by pots.
Haven’t tried out this skill, but I believe it is important to get it since it adds a beefy amount of 1k hp at level 10. This will greatly reduce your chance of dying on 1 hit KO from bosses.

In summary, max it once you have available skill points.
