Hello, this guide was created in order to help players to understand the stat system, and with it create their own strategies and builds. The values displayed here were based in in-game values, and can be slightly different from the actual formula as they were made by tests. Note this guide is always expanding, and corrections and suggestions are welcome. Yes, I’m aware stats can be changed, and more enhancements are coming, but this guide was created and updated in the past and will be as the game is updated with new content/change of values.

Definition of Classes:

Classes in AQW now follow a different system from the old one. Classes get their stat bonuses based on their roles. A magic class will find out certain stats work exclusively for them, and the same applies to a melee class. The current “exclusive” stats can be used by any class with enhancements, but how they work depends on the style previously mentioned. There are some classes that are classified as “Hybrid” classes as they receiving bonuses from stats which tend to work only on one type or on another. Here is a list of classes and their respective classification:

*Melee Tank: Warrior (Warlord), Dragonslayer, Doomknight, Beast Warrior, Pumpkinlord, Defender, No Class
*Melee Power: Berserker, Dragonlord, Ranger
*Melee Dodge: Rogue (Renegade), (Alpha) Pirate, Barber, Vampire, Starlord
*Melee Luck: CardClasher

*Caster Offensive: Mage (Sorcerer), Necromancer, Shaman
*Caster Defensive: Healer (Acolyte), Witch, Bard

Stat Effects:

Each stat has a effect on a character. Some effects are universal, like the Evasion increase in Dexterity or Luck increasing the critical damage, but most effects are based on the Class type (which you can find in the article above). Here is a list of every stat, and their effect, or battle modifier depending on each class type. Keep in mind that the stats are calculated with level 35 Luck enhancements, following the 1 rule.

General Information

Here’s the basics of what each of stats does, which can be seen in your Character Panel, which is easily found by clicking the Character Panel Button in the User Bar. It shows the basic effects of the stat, your current Stats and Bonuses, and General Information on your Class. The Stats part should look like this
In addition to the affecting the Class and Battle Modifiers listed above, Stats will also affect your combat.
Strength: Increases Attack Power which boosts damage of Physical Skills. It also improves critical strike chance for melee classes.
Intellect: Increases Magic /Spell Power which boosts damage of Magical Skills. It also increases critical strike chance for caster classes.
Endurance: Increases your total Hit Points.
Dexterity: For Melee Classes, it increases Haste, and Hit Chance. Also increases Evasion chance for Caster classes.
Wisdom: For Caster classes, it increases Hit Chance, and Critical Chance. Also increases Evasion chance for Melee Classes.
Luck: Increases the Critical Strike Modifier, increasing the Damage of a Critical Hit, for all classes and may have some effects outside of combat (None so far. Will Not affect Drop Rate)


Enhancement Builds:

With the introduction of stats, specific enhances were made to add stats to weapons. The ones listed so far are the ones available in the game, with a possible addition to more in the future. While I made a big post about each enhancement, it was not helpful at all so I’ll just give the links to their respective entries in the AQW Wiki:

Base Stats:

 
To avoid problems with multi-class, AE implemented a “custom class” system, allowing players to customize their equipment stats and create their own combination. Each class now has a base stat value, which prevents a full customization, but gives a versatile way to use every class. I won’t give a magical combination or builds, just give the basic stats so players can create their own strategies based on these values. Please note that base stats are upgraded as the player levels up.

NOTE: Pirate, and Rogue share the same base stats, while Warrior, and Pumpkin Lord also share the same stats. They were put separated for convenience, as they are different themed classes and may receive different stats in the future.
