I’ll try and breakdown the Master / Apprentice System here.


So you want to be a master?

– You must be level 30 or above.

– You will need to get some apprentices.

– Apprentices must be between levels 5 and 20, no higher no lower.

– You are allowed a maximum of 5 apprentices. *this does seem to be kinda buggy as some people have 6*

– You need to tell your apprentices to report after each level using the report function in the Master/Apprentice window. *this window is located under the Ranking tab around the map*

– When your apprentices report each time you will receive experience, as they get closer to 30 you will gain more exp per each time they level.

– When your apprentice reaches level 30, you will receive Master Points which can be used for reputation. *where and how is unclear I will update it as soon as an apprentice gets to 30*

– When your apprentice reaches 30, you must team up with him, and visit the Gentlemen NPC. After you do this you must go to the Complete Apprentiship and you will receive 30 Master Points for you’re first apprentice.

So you want to be an apprentice?

– You will need to find a master. You can do this by typing their name into the tab in the Master/Apprentice window, or you can right click on their name and request to be an apprentice to them. You can also go to the Gentleman in most cities and choose who you want to enroll under.

– Once they accept you should use the report function each time you level. When you do this, you will receive some exp and some energy; around 5% EXP and 5% energy of your level.

– Once you get to level 10 and 20 you will report and should be mailed 2 BLUE Talismans. *this should help you further level*

– Once you reach level 30, you will receive 2 GREEN weapon talismans.

– You MUST report within 7 days or your master can expel you without penalty.

Other notes

– When you break the bond between a apprentice and master through expulsion you will need to wait 24 hours to get a new apprentice. So make sure you’re apprentices are worthy.

– When apprentice levels up, apprentice can report to master, then apprentice will earn extra 5% experience and energy of current level, and master will earn extra 2% experience and energy.

– As the master you will receive the equivalent of 2% of your apprentices exp, not yours.

– Upon expulsion of an apprentice you will lose EXP as well.

– The Gentleman in Sky Village is so that masters can sign up and allow upcoming apprentices to apply (thank you Angelica).

– The BLUE and GREEN items you get at 10, 20,3 0 are bound so you cannot trade (thank you Batina (the first apprentice I had receive items)).

– K is the key used to bring up the apprenticeship menu (thank you Pet0r).

– You will receive a little message pop up when someone reports so you will know when they do.

1 MASTER POINT = 100 REPUTATION (except ssc repu, 1 MP=10 ssc repu)
