Hi all!
Since I no longer play and I was one of the oldest and top Court Magician’s on the LuxPlena server, as well as the most feared player in PvP, I want to write down everything I have learned about the Court Magician in my 1 year and 3 months in Florensia. I was also constantly asked about my builds that I myself named “Exreem Builds” and didnt recommend further, as they did not only depend on stats and skills. During my time in flo, I’ve found my “End-Build”, which I also present here for the first time…

2. Introduction

Court Magician or simply CM… what is he anyway?
The Court Magician is one of the many classes, he is the magician of Florensia, a ranged Damage Dealer (DD) and one of the 2 extended classes of Noble. The other extended class is called Magic Knight simply MK. Like every class the Court Magician has one 1on1, Aoe and PvP build, the CM belongs to one of the best classes in all areas. The main weapon is the Cariad, but he can also use a rapier (main weapon of MK) and a dagger.
Like every class the Court Magician has strengths and weaknesses. His magic dmg (MATK) belongs to his strengths, like his high MP values and his strong skills. His weaknesses are his poor defense, low HP values and the long cooldown period of skills. Therefore, it is also important to know not only the strengths but also the weaknesses of Court Magicians, and how to deal with them. This means that the Court Magician is only as good as the players himself is, since he has to be able to think, act and react quickly.

Skills are sort of the magic in Florensia. The Court Magician does not only have massive damage skills, AoEs (= Area of Effect) and DoTs (= Damage over Time), but they can also stun his opponent, confuse him, let him sleep, and protect themselves from harm with a shield, teleport or redirect received damage to his own MP. He even has Passive Skills which increases Maximum magic damage, Crit Chance and Maximum MP or a buff to give himself or other characters more MP. Besides these skills, he has the possibility to recharge his HP by using a rapier.
Expressed in one word, CMs are OP (overpowered) or like people called me: a OP, running Bug xDDD

In Florensia all stats have a different impacts on each classes, one class will get more other classes less out of a particular stat. Important is, the more points you invest into a Stat makes you gain more use out of it. That means if you stat everything a bit, you do not get the maximum strength out of each stat, thus you focus only on the best 2 Stats. I have made this mistake at the beginning, too :p but that’s not fatal, as you can buy resets to set the points to the initial value, so that they can be divided again.

4.1 Strenght

“Strength” short cut “Str”only increases melee (min and max melee attack) and Long Range (Long Range Min and Max attack) attacks, and increases melee and long range hits slightly with rapier and dagger, or Long Range Dual Guns and rifle (which you can not use as a Court Magician).

4.2 Dexterity

“Dexterity” short cut “Dex” increases, magic, melee and long range hitting more than strength or intelligence. Besides these, it increases the avoid. The skill hitting rate is not affected. The Noble class is the class which gets the most avoid from dex.

4.3 Constitution

“Constitution” short cut “Con”increases your Max HP, and HP regeneration. You need HP to live so it can’t hurt to stat con, though you will gain less HP points than other classes.

4.4 Luck

“Luck” influences the damage of critical hits and cannot be increased. Until now it was always 10, no matter what you do.

4.5 Intelligence

“Intelligence” short cut “Int” increases your magic attack damage (min and max magic attack) for Cariad attacks and skill damage. Also it increases your melee attack a little (min and max melee attack) for weapons such as rapier and dagger.

4.6 Wisdom

“Wisdom” short cut “Wis” increases your MP values and your MP regeneration. Both you need for casting your skills and for Protection of Mana, as the received dmg will be drawn off of MP instead of HP. So wis is important for a magician and he will get a little more use out of it than other classes.

4.7 Will

“Will” increases magic, melee and long range critical hits. This means that if you hit someone with a skill, Cariad or melee attack, the chance of a critical hit, which makes more harm and maybe stuns the target, will be increased.

In your inventory you see your whole equipment. Weapons (Arms), armor, dress , hats, jewelry (accessories) and tattoos (not yet available!). Some equipment can have up to 5 seals and all equipments are possible to upgrade (upgrades from 1 to 10). This can improve the weaknesses of your build.

Inventory

In the upper left side, you have 3 slots (see at the pic above). They are ment for weapons like Cariad, Rapier and Dagger. You can change your weapons through mouseklick on “Ⅰ, Ⅱ or Ⅲ”. The fast way would be pressing F1 (Weapon Ⅰ), F2 (Weapon Ⅱ) or F3 (Weapon Ⅲ) on your keyboard. The weapons can be verbessert by upgrading.
As already mentioned, the main weapon of Court Magicians is the Cariad and he can also use rapier (the main weapon of MK) and dagger.
All weapons can have bonuses, or 1 to 5 seals and be upgraded from 1 to 10. Upgrading increases the damage of your weapons. By upgrading the weapons you can get effects (+8 is a fireball around the Cariad). The weapons can be droped by monsters or bosses (bossweapons have seals), bought from NPC‘s, or created by recipes (dont have seals).
There are weapons that can be used by several classes, and there are “2nd Class” Weapons. The 2nd class weapons can ONLY be used by 2 extended classes.

Cariad, Rapier and Dagger

Cariad

The Cariad, the main weapon of the Court Magician, can be used for ranged attacks and is needed for all his important skills. Cariads hit magic damage every 1.7 seconds. If you upgrade your Cariad, magic attack will be added.

Rapier

As said before, we can use rapiers for melee (not recommended), or for using skills of the Magic Knight skill tree (some can only be used with a rapier). Rapier does melee attack and attacks every 1.2 seconds. Upgrading the rapier increases your phweapondamage (meleedamage) for attacks with the rapier and magicdmg with rapier skills

Dagger

We can use daggers to fight in close combat (not recommended!). It’s better for you to use Rapiers or skills to conjure up that can be used with all weapons. The dagger does melee attack damage and attacks every 1 second.
If you upgrade daggers, it increases your melee attack to attack with a dagger and magic damage of skills you can use with a dagger.

5.3 Dresses & Hats

The dresses and hats are mostly cash shop items (CS items) which you can buy in the Cash Shop on the Florensia homepage or at the personal stores in the game. There are also time limited dresses and hats that you can get in game. They can also have bonuses like +5% Max HP and +5% MP important to know is, this percentage bonuses only works for the HP and MP obtained from Stats.

Now, all my builds + the main skill tree, from my playing time which I tried, with advantages and disadvantages (:

6.1 Skilling

Note: The skilltree is suitable for every build up to lvl 84 (max lvl with lvling on mobs).There comes a time for every Court Magician where you decide to try another build :P With the same skilltree I’ve always saved the skill reset and still I always had all important skills for a court to Magiacian maxed.

Image Fire Ball lvl 1, passage skill, Still useful, if you have low magic hitting as replacement for cariad hitting, like in the 100 floor tower on high lvl mobs.

Image Ice Ball lvl 1, isn’t worth upping. High consumption of MP, low damage and the duration of the effect is not increased. Is practical in 1on1 for slowing down an opponent.

Image Ice Shield lvl 5, from that lvl on, you’ll only get additional 10 seconds per point, which isn’t worth it in higher lvls, because you will get more damage.

Image Ice Bomb lvl 1, isnt worth upping . High consumption of MP, low damage and the duration of the effect is not increased. Still useful when finishing AoEs or in GvG, due to fast casting time.

Image Lightning Shock lvl 7, on lvl 7 the casting time is 0 seconds, after that only the damage is increased. Very useful to stun the opponent, fast cool down (7 seconds).

Image Heavy Lightning lvl 1, on lvl 1 this AoE does 791 dmg, you dont need it higher. Your main AoE is WoE, Heavy Lightning serves as an additional Aoe or to make surface damage in GvG.

Image Fire Pole Max lvl 10, always max as its your main damage skill.

Image Warp lvl 1, useful for critical situation, fast warping like in PvP or GvG, since you don’t have to choose the location like with teleport.

Image Teleport Max lvl 3, Max, is one of the best skills! Always usable in PvP, GvG and during lvling, you lose the agro of mobs or bosses.

Image Mind Up lvl 1, passageskill, gives less MP than Magic Boost. If you need more MP get it from seals (:.

Image Insight of Magic lvl 1, passageskill and useless since 8 points for 91 Hit is too much. Can get this amount of hit from seals.

Image Magic Boost Max lvl 10, 1430 MP good for every player and better than mind up.

Image Magic Power Max lvl 11, good passiv skill, that increases your max magic damage.

Image Recharge lvl 1, passageskill, the skill is useless.

Image Mental Concentration Max lvl 9, good passiv skill, that increases your critical magic damage chance.

Image Shade of Fear Max lvl 3, max as soon as possible, it’s very useful.

Image Lure of Incubus Max lvl 5, keep it on lvl 1 at the beginning, but max it later!

Image Sword of Spirit lvl 0, Unnecessary, better only use the Cariad.

Image Phantom Grief lvl 0, Unnecessary, better only use the Cariad.

Image Phantom Pain lvl 0, Unnecessary, better only use the Cariad.

Image Vampiric Touch lvl 0, Unnecessary, too many points for VT, passageskills and you have to go melee fight to reload few HP… better only use the Cariad.

Image Ice Thorn lvl 1, on lvl 1 this AoE makes 1476 damage, no need to up it higher. Your main AoE is WoE, Ice Thorn serves as an additional Aoe or to make surface damage in GvG.

Image Wrath of Earth lvl 5, always Max! The most important & strongest damage skill and your main AoE.

Image Balance Up lvl 0, Unnecessary, isn’t useful. 4 points for 80% chance, not beeing stuned by crit hits. Stun skills can still always stun you…

Image Protection of Mana Max lvl 6, in low lvls you should at least have it on lvl 1 and up it on higher lvls. Youll have more MP and Ice Shield will show less value.

Image Quick Spell lvl 0, Unnecessary, it’s bugged and doesn’t work!

6.2 Full Int Build

Like the name says, the full int build only consists out of Int. He deals the maximum damage of a Court Magician. I’ve tried the build out of fun (almost 300 Int) for tower and to do a lot of damage. I have to say this build was good. It’s a good build for leveling 1on1 and I leveled at the lake ghosts with this build until I was lvl 79. (Here Teleport is your best friend… or should always be xD). The only problem are the HP and MP … its just very important that you have good HP and MP seals. In PvP and GvG you have to be careful that you don’t get hit a lot.

6.3 Int / Wis Build

With this build you use your land stat points like this: 2 points in Int and 1 point in Wis until you reach 200 Int.
After that, you put all your points in Wis, your See points also in Wis, if you need more MP (consider that your MP will also be a part of your life :p). If not, you put your see points in Int. I think this build is an improvement of the full Int build. You lose some damage, but you can use more skills or protect yourself with PoM, since you have enough MP. Try to get lots of HP seals.

6.4 Dex / Con Build

This build is especially designed for AoE and also for GvG, because you have enough HP. Here you use 2 of your land stat points on Dex and 1 on Con each level. Your See points also go into Dex. In low levels you can start lvling by 1on1, because monsters will miss you until you have enough AoEs. This build is fastest to lvl, because you can loot a lot of monsters and have no problems using your AoEs on them. With this build you could also max a second AoE. But take care of other players when you lvl, don’t loot all the monsters and interfere with them leveling.

6.5 Full Will Build

This build was really just for fun! xD You put all of your points on Will. You replace your Cariad hits by skills like Fireball. With this build you’re a crit monster, stunning your enemies, but remember that you never have a 100% crit chance. Get seals to improve your HP and MP or Magic hit.

6.6 Con / Wis

Now we arrived at my „End-Build“. 2 of your land stat points will go into con each lvl, 1 into wisdom. See points will be put on wis in the beginning too, until you have about 100 wis. After that you’ll put everything onto con. MP will never replace your HP, even though you have PoM! Why did this build convince me so much? Why not a full wis build? Or more wis than con, since we have PoM and CM’s have more profit from Wisdom than from Constitution?

The answer is, this build corrects almost all of the weaknesses a Court Magician has and this build is good in almost everything! Let’s start in the defense. The more HP you have, the more you profit from your defense, since you can take more dmg.

The MP, you have enough MP to use PoM and take attacks but can still use skills easily. You should never forget that your life is HP and not MP! And PoM is a skill, which must be activated, in order to protect you. The percentage costs are much higher. An advantage of con also is, that you can direct damage onto your MP with PoM and switch it off, so you still have enough MP for skills. As long as you lose HP your MP can still regenerate! And if both MP and HP are low, you can use Lure for example, sit down and regenerate both lifebeams!!!
A problem is Magic hitting for lvling, but this can be solved by seals. For PvP or GvG, because you only hit with skills, you can use HP and MP seals, because they are more important. You up your Cariad as high as possible. Skills are still strong without int. In GvG you’re a Tank :p and can tank if you AoE in a party or tank bosses. You can also AoE by yourself with Ice Shield, but of course you can’t tank as many monsters as you could with a Dex build.

In the Quick Slot bar you can add all of your important skills and items, so you can use them quickly by using your mouse or the numbers on your keyboard. Most important is here, how you play with your keyboard, especially in PvP and GvG.

7.2 Keyboard

Explanation: With the left hand I use my number keyboard and with the right hand, my mouse.
“0” – is the most important skill “Teleport, i can directly click on the target with my mouse.
“1”
“2”
“3”
“4-6” – the stuns: Lightning Shock, Shade of Fear and Lure of Incubus. I have all the important stuns in a row, so I can cast LS and straight after that SoF. If something goes wrong, I can quickly click “6” for LoI.
“7-9” – the AoEs: Wrath of Earth, Ice Thorn and Heavy Lightning. These are the 3 AoEs which must be activated by a mouse click. Ice Bomb activates immediately
“+ & -“ – the protection skills: Protection of Mana and Ice Shield.

8. Gameplay

Now you have your Court Magician with skills and build, but how do you use him?
First thing is, Teleport will be your main means of transportation or to escape fast, if something goes wrong!

8.1 PvE (Player vs. Enemy)

For 1on1, int build is the best option, you have high damage so you kill the monsters fast.

Melee Monster
Melee monsters: I start with Ice Ball to slow down the monster, then hit it 2x with my Cariad or use Fire Ball 2x until it reaches me, then Lightning Shock and another Cariad hit until i killed it.

Range Monster
Range monsters: I always teleport to the monster, then use Lightning Shock, hit him with my Cariad and also use Fireball or loot one mob with Fire Pole, and teleport to the next monster etc. ..(No looting if alone).

AoEing
Dex build is perfect for AoEing, because monsters will miss you and you can collect as many mobs as possible.
I always start with PoM, loot monsters until I only have about 3.5k MP left, then I stop PoM (MP regenerates) collect all oft he left monsters in the room. Then it starts: Ice Shield, WoE, Ice Bomb, Heavy Lightning, Ice Thorn, Ice Bomb, and another WoE depending oft the left mobs (Always ensure that you dont disturb anyone who lvls, otherwise you can be reportet).

Bosses
To solo bosses, the best build is Dex or a Con / Wis build.
If I solo bosses, I start with PoM and then use WoE to hit the boss. After that use, Lightning Shock and Shade of Fear as much as possible.

8.2 PvP (Player vs. Player)

My favorite for PvP has always been the Con / Wis Build, but in the end, thanks to the skills, all the CM Builds are good in PvP.

8.3 GvG (Guild vs. Guild)
For GvG a Con/Wis Build is good, because you can take alot of damage, and healers have enough time to heal you. It‘s very important to use Teleport instead of running, cos your opponent loses you as a goal and you can escape. You will be the primary target, since you are good dmg dealer. You should use as many AoEs as possible on your opponents. Your main task ist to prevent the opponing Court Magicians to cast AoEs on your guild members, by using Lure of Incubus or Lightning Shock.

Example: One time, when i was lvl 82 and had a Con/Wis build. I had PoM on and teleported around, but suddenly I was stopped by Lure and three people came to me xD a Court Magician, Gladiator and I believe an Excavator. The CM used Shade on me and then it really got started. I was like a punching bag for them xD WoE, Tornado Slash … I put PoM off when I had only 1k – 2k MP left … and a priest saw what was going on when I only had ¾ HP left, came and healed me … Shade was of me but they didnt stop stunning me, even Shieldbash (lol PvP builds >. <) and I pressed ”2” all the time so that I get away from there xD with Warp (since its faster than when I click on Teleport and aim a location) I even made it out of there alive with half HP ^^”’ then continued teleporting with Teleport, used Ice Shield, used pots and sat down :p and then i wanted revenge * Wheres the CM?! * xD Teleported to him, LS, Shade, WoE, Fire Pole, LS, CM down … and Nami was satisfied „revenge is sweet“ xD

8.4 Turm (100 Floor Tower)

For towering, there are several good options.
Int build is it good for high lvl mobs, therefore you must be careful with AoEs that you dont die.
Dex build is good to AoE but the dmg isnt as high.
Con Build, you can also collect monsters and take more dmg.
In the end, its a matter of what party your in anyways…
I spam Fire Ball and Lightning Shock at high lvl monsters

    I have read a lot about wis cm and they should be very good in pvp
