2. Character Creation

2a.Q. What Server and Channel do I Choose?

A. The server you choose does not matter unless you wish to play with a friend. If you wish to play together with a friend you must make sure you both chose the same server. A channel is a different instance of the server. There are multiple channels for every server. The channel you choose depends how many people you wish to play with or what channel your friends have joined. If you are playing alone and want a busy channel join a channel with a red diamond. If you want a quiet non populated channel join one with a blue diamond. Yellow diamonds indicate a server with a normal or moderate amount of players.

2b.Q. How do I choose How My Character Looks?

A. When in the character creation screen on the top right hand side there is a box starting with your selected server and channel. As you go down the box you can see different choices such as Face, Hair, Color, Skin, and Eyes. To change these setting you click the left and right arrows next to that choice. Note there is also a random button underneath your choices.

2c.Q. What Class Should I Choose?

A. When you first start out in Eden Eternal you have the choice between two main classes. Either the Warrior who primarily uses close quarter weapons or the Magician who uses spells to defeat their enemies. Note that once you chose either of these starting classes or any of the later classes you can change it at whim should you decide you do not like the one you have chosen.

2d.Q. What Heroic Trait Should I Choose?

A. There are eight different Heroic traits that you can choose from. Each of them gives your character a permanent bonus for your character. Some traits are geared towards different group role you may find yourself in. Such as the Guardian Heroic Trait for example. The Guardian Heroic trait gives the player a +10% Defense and a +5% Resistance to all Elemental attacks. A. After obtaining a Book from either a Grocery Merchant or Trebek the Book Merchant, you right click on the book in your inventory to start it.
